Description

MCS (modulation and coding scheme) adjusting method in trunking communication system
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a trunking communication technology, and in particular, to a Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) adjustment method in a trunking communication system.
Background
In the common point-to-point communication of the LTE, an adaptive MCS technique is used, regardless of the uplink direction or the downlink direction of the LTE, a data receiving side monitors the quality of a wireless channel (such as CQI) and then feeds back the quality to a data sending side, and the sending side adjusts the MCS for the next data sending according to the quality of the wireless channel, so that the air interface resources are saved as much as possible on the basis of meeting the receiving quality, and the capacity of the LTE network system is improved.
However, in the LTE trunking system, a group is point-to-multipoint communication, and because the number of group members is large, and the LTE air interface protocol does not define a group uplink feedback channel in consideration of air interface resources, a group monitoring user cannot timely feed back the quality of a downlink wireless channel through an uplink control channel, and therefore, a base station cannot dynamically adjust the MCS of the group, and only can transmit group data with a fixed MCS. If the fixed group MCS setting is large, some users in the group (for example, users at the edge of the cell) may have poor monitoring quality, and if the fixed group MCS is small, air interface radio resources may be wasted unnecessarily.
Disclosure of Invention
The application provides a MCS adjustment method in a trunking communication system, which can improve the transmission performance of the trunking system on the premise of not increasing the burden of a Uu port.
In order to achieve the purpose, the following technical scheme is adopted in the application:
a MCS adjustment method in a trunking communication system comprises the following steps:
for any group, the group monitoring user monitors the group service signal, and reports a weak signal indication to the core network after determining that the group signal is weakened;
the core network counts the weak signal indication received in a first set time period, and if the proportion of users reporting the weak signal indication in any group exceeds a set threshold value, first indication information is sent to a base station;
and after receiving the first indication information of the core network, the base station reduces the MCS.
Preferably, the first indication information is used for indicating users with poor signals in a group.
Preferably, the first indication information is used to indicate a user ratio of reporting a weak signal indication;
and the base station reduces MCS according to the received user proportion.
Preferably, after the group monitoring user reports the weak signal indication, the method further includes: when the group monitoring user determines that the group signal is recovered, reporting a signal recovery indication to a core network;
when counting weak signal indication in a first set time period, the core network recovers the indication according to the received signal; when the proportion of the users reporting the weak signal indication does not exceed the set threshold, the core network sends second indication information to the base station; and after receiving the second indication information, the base station increases the MCS.
Preferably, the second indication information is used for indicating users with no signal difference in the group.
Preferably, the second indication information is used for indicating a user ratio of reporting a weak signal indication;
and the base station increases the MCS according to the received user proportion.
Preferably, the reporting the weak signal indication to the core network includes: for the group monitoring user in an idle state, reporting a weak signal indication to the core network after initiating random access; and directly reporting the weak signal indication to the core network for the group monitoring users in the connection state.
Preferably, the reporting the signal recovery indication to the core network includes: for the group monitoring users in an idle state, reporting a signal recovery indication to the core network after initiating random access; and directly reporting a signal recovery indication to the core network for the group monitoring users in the connected state.
Preferably, the first indication information is carried in a group context modification request.
Preferably, the second indication information is carried in a group context modification request.
Preferably, the manner of determining the weakening of the group signal is as follows: when monitoring that the packet loss rate of the service data in a second set time period exceeds a set first threshold, a monitoring user determines that the group signal is weakened;
the manner of determining group signal recovery is as follows: and when the monitoring user monitors that the packet loss rate of the service data in the second set time period is lower than a set second threshold, determining that the group signal is recovered.
Preferably, before the group monitoring user monitors the group service data, the method further includes: and the group monitoring user receives the group SIB message indication and starts the MCS adjustment function.
According to the technical scheme, for any group, the group monitoring user monitors the group service signal, and reports the weak signal indication to the core network after determining that the group signal is weakened; the core network counts the weak signal indication received in a first set time period, and if the proportion of users reporting the weak signal indication in any group exceeds a set threshold value, first indication information is sent to a base station; and after receiving the first indication information of the core network, the base station reduces the MCS. By the mode, the group user reports the weak signal indication to the core network, and the core network informs the base station to reduce the MCS after the whole signal receiving condition of the whole group is changed. Therefore, on one hand, the burden of the Uu port is not increased, and on the other hand, the group signal transmission performance is guaranteed.

Detailed Description
For the purpose of making the objects, technical means and advantages of the present application more apparent, the present application will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In the application, the slow feedback of the quality of the wireless channel is mainly carried out on the core network through the group monitoring users, the slow dynamic adjustment of the group MCS is carried out, the utilization rate of air interface resources can be provided, the receiving quality of the group monitoring users is considered, and the signaling burden of a Uu port is not increased any more.
In the present application, the flow of the group MCS adjusting method is shown in fig. 1, and specifically includes:
step 101, for any group, according to the network condition, when the group MCS adjustment function needs to be started, the base station sends a cluster SIB message IE PTTSignalIndication to the group monitoring user to instruct to start the MCS adjustment function.
For any group, the user currently monitoring the group information is used as the group monitoring user of the group. With this step, the group MCS adjustment function can be controlled. Of course, in the most basic implementation, this step may not be included, and step 102 and its subsequent steps may be performed directly for the group.
Step 102, the group monitoring user monitors the group service data, and reports the weak signal indication to the core network after determining that the group signal is weakened.
Specifically, the manner of determining whether the group signal is weakened may adopt various existing manners, for example, the packet loss rate of the group service data may be monitored, and when the packet loss rate of the service data within a certain time exceeds a certain threshold, the group signal of the monitoring UE is considered to be weakened. Of course, the manner in which the present application determines that the group signal is weak is not so limited.
Preferably, after determining that the group signal is weakened, the UE in the idle state first initiates random access and then reports a weak signal indication to the core network; and for the UE in the connection state, directly reporting the weak signal indication to the core network.
And the terminal needs to monitor again after changing the cell or the monitoring group, and reports again when the condition is met.
Step 103, the core network counts the weak signal indication received in the first set time period.
And step 104, if the proportion of the users reported by the weak signal indication in the group exceeds a set threshold value, sending first indication information to the base station.
In order to avoid a large amount of message interaction of the S1 interface and also avoid frequent adjustment of the group MCS, the core network counts the number of users reporting the weak signal indication within a certain time, and determines the proportion of users reporting the weak signal indication according to the total number of users in the group, that is, the proportion of the number of users reporting the weak signal indication within the group to the total number of users in the current group. When the core network reports the user proportion indicated by the weak signal in the statistical group, monitoring that the user exits the current group or goes out of the cluster registration or is switched must be considered. That is, the number of all users of the group is the current number of users in the group, and does not include users exiting the current group, users registered in a de-cluster, and users who have switched. If the user ratio indicated by the reported weak signal exceeds a certain set value, it indicates that there is a certain ratio of group user signal variation, and the core network sends first indication information to the base station to indicate the base station to reduce the MCS.
Preferably, the first indication information may be added in a PTT Context Modification Request.
The first indication information sent by the core network to the base station may be used to indicate users having a signal difference in a group, or may also be used to directly indicate a user ratio value indicated by reporting a weak signal.
And 105, after receiving the first indication information of the core network, the base station reduces the MCS.
And after the base station receives the first indication information, the base station determines that the proportion of the users reporting the weak signal indication exceeds a set threshold value, and then the base station reduces the MCS.
When performing the MCS reduction operation, preferably, if the first indication information is used to indicate that the group has users with signal differences, the MCS may be reduced by a set order, for example, by one step each time; if the first indication information is used for directly indicating the user ratio value indicated by the reported weak signal, the reduction order of the MCS can be determined according to the received user ratio value.
The base station reduces the MCS and informs the UE through the semi-static reactivation of the group.
By this point, the most basic MCS adjustment procedure in this application is finished.
On the basis of the basic procedure, preferably, for a user that has reported a weak signal indication, after the signal is recovered, the following processing may be further added to improve the MCS:
and step 106, the group monitoring user continues to monitor the group service data, and after the group signal is determined to be recovered, a signal recovery indication is sent to the core network.
Specifically, the method for determining whether the group signal is weakened may adopt various existing methods, for example, the packet loss rate of the group service data may be monitored, and when the packet loss rate of the service data within a certain time is lower than a certain threshold (for example, the UE moves from the group edge to the group center), it is considered that the group signal of the monitored UE is recovered. Of course, the manner in which the present application determines group signal recovery is not limited thereto.
Preferably, after determining that the group signal is recovered, the UE in an idle state may first initiate random access and then report a signal recovery indication to the core network; for the UE in the connected state, the signal recovery indication may be directly reported to the core network.
And the terminal needs to monitor again after changing the cell or the monitoring group, and reports again when the condition is met.
In step 103, the core network performs the statistics on the weak signal indication according to the received signal recovery indication.
In step 103, weak signal indication statistics is performed, and if a signal recovery indication of the user is received, the weak signal indication reported by the corresponding group monitoring user is not counted.
And step 107, when the user ratio indicated by the reported weak signal does not exceed the set threshold, the core network sends second indication information to the base station.
Preferably, the second indication information may be added in a PTT Context Modification Request.
The second indication information sent by the core network to the base station may be used to indicate a user with no signal difference in the group, or may also be used to directly indicate a user ratio value indicated by the reported weak signal.
And step 108, after receiving the second indication information, the base station increases the MCS.
And after the base station receives the second indication information, the base station determines that the proportion of the users reporting the weak signal indication does not exceed the set threshold any more, and then the base station increases the MCS.
In performing the MCS-increasing operation, preferably, if the second indication information is used to indicate that the group has no users with signal differences, the MCS may be increased by a set order, for example, by one step each; if the second indication information is used for directly indicating the user ratio value indicated by the reported weak signal, the improvement order of the MCS can be determined according to the received user ratio value.
The base station's process of raising the MCS may inform the UE through group semi-static reactivation.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of information interaction of the complete process.
As can be seen from the specific implementation of the present application, in the present application, the Uu port is not modified, when the UE finds that the quality of the group channel is poor, the UE feeds back the group channel to the core network through the NAS message, and when the core network determines that the number of the cell weak signal users reaches a certain number within a period of time, the UE informs the base station. When a certain number of weak signal users exist in the group, the base station reduces the MCS of the group so that the weak signal users can also receive group data well; and after the signal of the weak signal user in the group is recovered, the MCS of the group is improved so as to save air interface resources.
The above description is only for the purpose of illustrating the preferred embodiments of the present invention and is not to be construed as limiting the invention, and any modifications, equivalents, improvements and the like made within the spirit and principle of the present invention should be included in the scope of the present invention.
