The invention discloses an intelligent chair which comprises a seat cushion, a chair back arranged at the rear side of the seat cushion, a chair frame for supporting the seat cushion and a locking part for locking/releasing the chair frame, wherein the chair frame comprises a plurality of chair legs, the chair legs are connected to a common central point, the central point is provided with a central hole for the chair frame to pass through, the bottom of the seat cushion is provided with a control unit, the control unit comprises a power supply, a processor and at least one first inductor which are electrically connected, the bottom of each chair leg is provided with at least one second inductor, and the processor is electrically connected with the second inductors and the locking part. In addition, a control method of the intelligent chair is also provided.
