Abstract

本发明涉及一种液晶显示器的亮度调整方法,该液晶显示器有背光和液晶显示面板构成,进一步的包括温度传感器,该温度传感器检测显示面板的温度,根据液晶面板的温度调整背光亮度,此时造成了液晶显示器的显示效果的亮度降低的缺陷,本发明采用进一步的在降低背光的同时调整图像灰阶值来改善亮度。

一种自适应调整背光的液晶显示器
技术领域
本申请涉及一种液晶显示器亮度调整领域,特别涉及一种根据显示器问题调整背光及显示亮度的装置。
背景技术
近年来液晶显示装置快速发展,显示器的显示效果例如分辨率等都在稳步提高,在实际运用过程中根据外界的环境亮度调整显示器的亮度以便使得显示器在实际运用过程中得到较高的或者较好的人眼视觉感受,但是在实际的运用过程中有些地方出现牺牲显示器的显示效果来满足显示器其他方面的要求;具体的例如在显示器温度较高的情况下,会调整显示器的背光模块,通常是降低背光的亮度以达到降低显示装置的温度目的,但是这种情况下相应的显示器整体的亮度会发生改变,造成了不良的显示亮度。
发明内容
发明提供了基于显示器温度自适应的调整显示器背光亮度并且使得显示器亮度保持原来的亮度的显示装置。
具体的,有如下结构组成:液晶显示面板像素显示区域,栅极驱动电路,源极驱动电路,时序控制器,温度传感器,微处理器,图像校正模块,背光模块,背光调整模块;
时序控制器与栅极驱动电路和源极驱动电路连接,为栅极驱动电路和源极驱动电路提供时序信号;
栅极驱动电路与像素显示区域连接,提供扫描信号;
源极驱动电路与像素显示区域连接,提供数据信号;
温度传感器设置显示面板上,实时检测显示面板温度;
微处理器与温度传感器和图像校正模块及背光调整模块连接;
背光模块调整显示器背光亮度;
微处理器通过背光调整模块调整背光亮度,通过图像校正模块校正输入图像显示数据;
微处理器根据温度传感器检测到的显示器温度,在温度高于一个阈值时降低背光亮度,同时校正图像显示数据使得显示器保持或者接近原背光的显示亮度。
本申请通过合理的调整显示器背光亮度灰阶值以及显示装置的温度的关系以达到较好的显示亮度目的。这里在现有的技术上,例如在为了适应环境光的亮度的时候也会调整显示器的亮度便于得到较好的显示效果,这里与本申请并不矛盾,并且相适应的可以运用到本申请中。

图4是本申请在增加或者提高灰阶电压时进一步的相应提高扫描时间。
具体实施方式:本发明的实施例提供了一种实时的自适应的运用于显示器亮度调整的装置;如图1所示在液晶显示器上显示器的温度过高会造成显示装置的电子元器件寿命减少,甚至突然失去工作状态;在这种情况下,设置温度传感器来实时测量显示器的温度并作出相应的动作是非常有必要的;由于显示器的温度的主要热量来源是背光,所以通常调整背光的亮度(一般是降低)来达到降低功耗和显示器温度的目的,本申请在降低背光亮度的同时进一步的调整图像灰阶参数从而使得显示器具备原有的较好的亮度值。如下表所示,每一个温度区间对应一个温度系数,当然30度以下属于不许要调整的范围,而灰阶调整也是有上限的,因此50度以上保持温度系数不变。

具体的图像灰阶调整如下:
其中,x为温度未变化时图像灰阶值,t为温度系数,w为背光亮度系数,f(x,t,w)调整后的图像灰阶值。
当然,如本领域技术人员公知的是当温度小于一定阈值时对灰阶图像不做调整,是由于这里的温度没有引起背光的调整。同理相应的当背光调整亮度时,根于背光亮度的范围得出相应的亮度系数;具体的可以根据亮度值大小(一般在30-100lux之间)得出相应的温度系数在0.02-0.06之间,当然这里也可以根据背光灯的电流值或者电压占宽比来确定背光系数在这里不做赘述。
通过上述的温度调整背光的同时来调整图像灰阶值从而进一步得到较好的显示器亮度表现。
如图3所示,进一步的在原始图像灰阶值较小的情况下,显示器图像的亮度对比度有着较好的表现,当然随着图像灰阶值的增加,其能够调整的范围越来越小,在合理的图像灰度值情况下,调整得到了优良的对比度。

Claims (3)

1.一种液晶显示器的亮度调整方法,所述液晶显示器包括:液晶显示面板像素显示区域,栅极驱动电路,源极驱动电路,时序控制器,温度传感器,微处理器,图像校正模块,背光模块,背光调整模块;
时序控制器与栅极驱动电路和源极驱动电路连接,为栅极驱动电路和源极驱动电路提供时序信号;
栅极驱动电路与像素显示区域连接,提供扫描信号;
源极驱动电路与像素显示区域连接,提供数据信号;
温度传感器设置显示面板上,实时检测显示面板温度;
微处理器与温度传感器和图像校正模块及背光调整模块连接;
背光模块调整显示器背光亮度;
微处理器通过背光调整模块调整背光亮度,通过图像校正模块校正输入图像显示数据;
所述背光调整方法,包括如下步骤:
1)检测显示器温度,当显示器温度高于一温度阈值时,微处理器降低背光亮度,同时图像校正模块校正图像显示数据;
2)将降低后的背光亮度值和校正图像显示数据值输出给液晶显示装置。
2.如权利要求1所述的亮度调整方法,所述步骤1)中校正图像显示数据具体包括:对图像数据执行如下校正:
其中,x为温度未变化时图像灰阶值,t为温度系数,w为背光亮度系数,f(x,t,w)调整后的图像灰阶值。
3.如权利要求1所述的亮度调整方法,所述步骤1)中其检测显示器的温度具体为:显示面板,源极驱动电路,栅极驱动电路,微处理器,背光电源管理元器件之一或者其任意组合。
