The processing module may be responsible for different functions in the pen, such as image processing, position decoding, exposure control, user feedback and power management, and may be implemented by a microprocessor of the central processing unit CPU, a digital signal processor DSP, some other programmable logic device, such as a field programmable gate array FPGA, an application specific integrated circuit ASIC, discrete analysis and digital components, or some combination of the above. The processing module may include one or more sub-modules, which may be implemented on one or more hardware components.
The storage module stores the dot matrix coding image acquired by the image acquisition module and the digital signal processed by the processing module. Therefore, encoding can be performed in the X direction and the Y direction separately, and encoding can also be performed using the same encoding flag for X bits and Y bits.
The position code can determine a unique position for the movement of the digital pen on the substrate, so that the position code is linked with information such as text or images, hyperlinks, absolute positions and the like embedded in the code, and the digital pen can realize corresponding functional operation through the position code. Moreover, the handwriting of the digital pen can be restored through position coding, so that the electronization of the handwriting is realized.
