Background

According to the workpiece clamping device provided by the embodiment of the invention, an operator only needs to replace the top support piece and the clamping piece, so that the width and the depth of the clamping interval can be changed to correspondingly clamp workpieces with different specifications, the clamping device is quick and convenient to assemble and disassemble, and the purchase cost can be reduced because the whole set of collet chuck and top support mechanism does not need to be replaced.

The workpiece holding device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the outer side of the mounting claw has a tapered surface, and the collet is operated by a clamp opening mechanism to be displaced up and down against the tapered surface, so that the mounting claw is contracted or released, and the clamping member is interlocked to perform a clamping operation on the workpiece.

9. The workpiece holding apparatus of claim 7, wherein the socket is confined between a seat at an upper end of the rotary mechanism and an adjustment member that is locked into threads at a lower end of the rotary mechanism.
10. The workpiece holding device of claim 9, wherein the first bearing is compressed between the seat and the first shoulder and the second bearing is compressed between the second shoulder and the adjustment member.
11. The workpiece holding device as recited in claim 9, wherein a spacer is disposed between the first bearing and the second bearing and abuts against inner sides of the first bearing and the second bearing.
