when the server sliding rail 18 needs to be installed on a server cabinet with the installation hole being the threaded installation hole 21, the stepped guide sleeve 7 is aligned with the threaded installation hole 21 and is inserted forwards, as the outer diameters of the first guide outer circle part 9 and the second guide outer circle 10 are larger than the aperture of the threaded installation hole 21, and the guide column 6 can penetrate through the threaded installation hole 21 on the server cabinet and form clearance fit positioning with the threaded installation hole 21, the guide plate 5 is pushed to the rear side and moves along the rear side of the raised strip 13 in the process of inserting the guide column 6 into the threaded installation hole 21, the spring 8 is compressed, and the threaded installation hole 21 is generally a 10-32# threaded hole, as shown in fig. 5; in this installation situation, the positioning stud 22 needs to be removed.
