Traditional laparoscopic surgery utilizes CO2 pneumoperitoneum techniques to create a surgical operating space. Because CO2 pneumoperitoneum has many adverse effects on respiration, circulatory system and gestation fetus, it is not suitable for patients with poor body condition or suffering from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, embolic diseases and pulmonary insufficiency, various abdominal wall suspension devices have been developed to perform pneumoperitoneum-free laparoscopic surgery.
