Description

Absorbent article
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an absorbent article in which a pair of wings are overlapped with each other on a non-skin-facing surface side of underwear when the absorbent article is attached.
Background
Patent document 1 discloses an absorbent article in which a pair of wings are overlapped with each other on the non-skin-facing surface side of underwear at the time of attachment. Each wing of patent document 1 is provided with a fragile line extending in the front-rear direction. The line of weakness continues from one end side to the other end side in the front-back direction of each flap.
In a state where the absorbent article of patent document 1 is attached to underwear, the main body portion is joined to the skin-facing surface of the underwear, and the flaps are joined to the non-skin-facing surface of the underwear. When a wearer removes the absorbent article from the underwear after use, the wearer generally holds the main body portion from the skin-facing surface side of the underwear and pulls the main body portion in a direction away from the underwear. By pulling the main body portion in a direction away from the skin-facing surface side of the underwear, the main body portion and the flaps are separated from each other through the weakened portions, and the main body portion is separated from the underwear.

Disclosure of Invention
In the absorbent article of patent document 1, when the main body portion is separated from the underwear, the flaps are separated from the main body portion. Therefore, the flaps sometimes fall off the undergarment after the main body portion leaves the undergarment. The wearer must handle the dropped wings and sometimes the removal of the absorbent article cannot be done cleanly.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to provide an absorbent article in which a pair of wings are overlapped with each other on a non-skin-facing surface side of underwear when the absorbent article is attached, wherein a removal operation of the absorbent article is performed cleanly.
An absorbent article (absorbent article 1) of the present disclosure includes: a front-rear direction (front-rear direction L); a width direction (width direction W) orthogonal to the front-rear direction; a main body section having an absorber (absorber 30); and a 1 st flap (a 1 st flap 41) and a 2 nd flap (a 2 nd flap 42) which overlap each other in a state of being attached to underwear, the 1 st flap having a 1 st flap joining portion (a 1 st flap joining portion 61) and a front side tear guide portion (a front side tear guide portion 80) extending in the front-rear direction from a front end edge of the 1 st flap, the 2 nd flap having a 2 nd flap joining portion (a 2 nd flap joining portion 62), wherein the front side tear guide portion is disposed at a position on a widthwise inner side of the 1 st flap joining portion in a deployed state of the 1 st flap, and the front side tear guide portion is provided only at the 1 st flap of the 1 st flap and the 2 nd flap.

Detailed Description
At least the following matters will be made clear from the description of the present specification and the drawings.
An absorbent article comprising:
a front-back direction;
a width direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction;
a main body section having an absorber; and
a 1 st flap and a 2 nd flap extending outward in the width direction from the main body section and overlapping each other when attached to underwear,
the 1 st flap has a 1 st flap joining portion and a front side tear guide portion extending in the front-rear direction from a front end edge of the 1 st flap,
the 2 nd wing has a 2 nd wing attachment portion,
wherein,
the front tear guide portion is disposed on the inner side in the width direction than the 1 st flap joining portion in the deployed state of the 1 st flap,
the front tear guide portion is provided only in the 1 st flap of the 1 st flap and the 2 nd flap.
According to such an absorbent article, the wearer pulls the main body portion to detach the absorbent article, and the 1 st flap is separated into two parts via the front side tear guide portion. In a state where the 1 st flaps are separated into two parts, one of the 1 st flaps (the base end side of the flaps) is connected to the main body, and the other 1 st flap (the outer side edge side of the flaps in the deployed state) is connected to the main body via the 2 nd flap. Even if the 1 st flap is separated, the 2 nd flap is not separated, so that the state that the main body part is connected with the flaps can be maintained, the flaps can be prevented from falling off during the removing operation, and the removing operation of the absorbent article can be performed cleanly.
In the absorbent article, it is preferable that,
preferably, the 1 st flap has a tear strength in the front-rear direction lower than the tear strength in the width direction of the 1 st flap.
According to such an absorbent article, the 1 st flap is easily torn in the front-rear direction, and therefore, the 1 st flap is easily broken in the front-rear direction via the front-side tear guide portion, and the 1 st flap 41 can be smoothly separated into two parts.
In the absorbent article, it is preferable that,
preferably, the tear strength of the material constituting the 1 st flap in the front-back direction is lower than the tear strength of the material constituting the 1 st flap in the width direction.
According to such an absorbent article, the material constituting the 1 st flap is easily torn in the front-rear direction, and therefore, the torn portion of the 1 st flap is easily extended in the front-rear direction, and it is possible to suppress the absorbent body of the main body from being exposed by tearing in the width direction. The 1 st flap is easily separable into two parts at the tear location along the front-to-back direction.
In the absorbent article, it is preferable that,
preferably, in the deployed state of the 1 st flap and the 2 nd flap, a distance between the proximal end portion of the 1 st flap and the proximal end portion of the 2 nd flap is longer than a distance obtained by adding a distance between the proximal end portion of the 1 st flap and the distal tear guide portion to a distance between the outer edge of the 2 nd flap junction portion and the proximal end portion of the 2 nd flap.
According to such an absorbent article, the 2 nd flap engagement portion and the front side tear guide portion are inevitably separated in the width direction in the 1 st attached state. The 2 nd flap joining portion does not overlap the front side tear guide portion, and therefore the 1 st flap is easily torn by the front side tear guide portion and smoothly separated into two parts.
In the absorbent article, it is preferable that,
preferably, the distance between the 1 st flap joining section and the front side tear guide section is shorter than the distance between the proximal end section of the 1 st flap and the front side tear guide section.
According to such an absorbent article, when the wearer pulls the main body portion in a direction away from the underwear, a tearing force acts between the main body portion and the flaps, and in the 1 st flap, a force tends to act in the vicinity of the 1 st flap joint portion. Since the tear guide portion is located in the vicinity of the 1 st flap joining portion as compared with the proximal end portion of the 1 st flap, the tearing force can be efficiently applied to the tear guide portion to easily separate the 1 st flap into two parts.
In the absorbent article, it is preferable that,
preferably, the flap 1 has a skin-facing sheet and a non-skin-facing sheet,
a sheet joining region where the skin surface sheet is joined to the non-skin surface sheet and a sheet non-joining region where the skin surface sheet is not joined to the non-skin surface sheet extend in the front-rear direction,
the front tear guide is disposed in the sheet non-joined region.
According to such an absorbent article, the front side tear guide is disposed in the sheet non-joined region having relatively low strength, and therefore, the 1 st flap is torn in the sheet non-joined region. Since the sheet joining region and the sheet non-joining region extend in the front-rear direction, the tear portion easily extends in the front-rear direction.
In the absorbent article, it is preferable that,
preferably, the 2 nd flap has a rear tear guide portion extending in the front-rear direction from a rear end edge of the 2 nd flap.
According to such an absorbent article, even when the front and rear portions are reversed, either the front side tear guide portion of the 1 st flap or the rear side tear guide portion of the 2 nd flap may be disposed on the front side of the wearer. Therefore, even when the front and rear sides are reversed, the main body section and the pair of flaps are removed together without causing a part of the flaps to fall, and the operation of removing the absorbent article can be performed cleanly. In addition, when the wearer removes the absorbent article after use, the wearer may hold the rear side of the main body portion and pull the main body portion in a direction away from the underwear. When the main body portion is pulled from the rear side in this way, the 2 nd wing is also separated into two parts. Therefore, even when the detachment operation is performed with the front and back reversed, the main body section and the pair of flaps are detached together without dropping a part of the flaps, and the detachment operation of the absorbent article can be performed cleanly.
The absorbent article of the present embodiment may be referred to as an absorbent article
(1) Structure of absorbent article
An absorbent article 1 according to an embodiment is described with reference to fig. 1 and 2. In the following description of the drawings, the same or similar parts are denoted by the same or similar reference numerals. The drawings are schematic, and it should be noted that the scale of each dimension and the like are different from the actual case. Therefore, specific dimensions and the like should be determined with reference to the following description. In addition, the drawings may include portions having different dimensional relationships and ratios from each other.
Fig. 1 is an expanded plan view of an absorbent article 1 according to an embodiment. Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along line a-a of fig. 1. The unfolded top view shown in fig. 1 is a view showing an unfolded state in which the wings of the absorbent article are unfolded (not folded). The absorbent article 1 is assumed to be any absorbent article such as a panty liner (fabric sheet), a sanitary napkin, and an incontinence pad. In the present embodiment, a case where a sanitary napkin is used as the absorbent article 1 will be described. The sanitary napkin of the present embodiment is a sanitary napkin for daily use, but may be a sanitary napkin for night use.
The absorbent article 1 has a front-back direction L, a width direction W orthogonal to the front-back direction L, and a thickness direction T. The thickness direction T has a skin facing surface side T1 and a non-skin facing surface side T2 on the opposite side. The front-back direction is a direction along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article. The width direction is a direction along a line connecting the centers of the pair of wings in the front-rear direction.
The absorbent article 1 includes at least: an absorbent body 30, a skin sheet 10 positioned closer to the skin-facing surface side than the absorbent body 30, and a non-skin sheet 20 positioned closer to the non-skin-facing surface side than the absorbent body 30.
The skin panel 10 has a top sheet 11 and side sheets 12. The top sheet 11 covers the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body 30. The side sheet 12 covers the outer edge of the top sheet 11 and extends outward in the width direction of the top sheet 11. The skin-facing sheet 10 can be made of a material generally used for absorbent articles, and for example, a sheet containing fibers, an apertured film, or the like can be used. Nonwoven fabrics and paper can be used as the fiber-containing sheet.
The non-skin facing sheet 20 is a liquid impermeable sheet. The non-skin surface sheet 20 covers at least the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body 30. As the non-skin-facing sheet 20, materials generally used in absorbent articles can be used, and for example, a non-air-permeable or air-permeable film, nonwoven fabric, or the like can be used.
The absorbent body 30 includes an absorbent core having absorbent material such as pulp, SAP, or the like, and a core-covering layer covering the absorbent core. As the absorbent body, materials generally used in absorbent articles can be used, for example, hydrophilic fibers, high-molecular water-absorbing polymers, or a combination thereof can be used for the absorbent core, and tissue paper or nonwoven fabric can be used for the core-covering layer.
The absorbent article 1 has a main body portion 2 and flaps 4. The main body 2 is located at the center of the absorbent article 1 in the width direction W and extends in the front-rear direction L. The flaps 4 extend outward in the width direction W from the outer edge 2E of the main body 2.
The main body 2 includes a top sheet 11, side sheets 12, a non-skin top sheet 20, and an absorber 30. The flaps 4 have side panels 12 and a non-skin facing sheet 20. The center 4LC in the front-rear direction of the flap 4 is located within the range in the front-rear direction of the region facing the excretory opening of the wearer. The flaps 4 are configured to be foldable toward the non-skin surface sheet 20, and to be foldable toward the non-skin facing surface of the underwear when attached. The structure of the flaps 4 will be described in detail later.
As shown in fig. 2, a joining portion for fixing the absorbent article to the underwear S is provided on the non-skin-facing surface of the non-skin-facing surface sheet 20. The joining portion includes a main body joining portion 60 disposed in the main body portion 2 and a flap joining portion disposed in the flap 4. The engaging portion may be formed of an adhesive, or may be configured to function as a loop in a hook-and-loop fastening system.
(2) Structure of protective wing
The flap 4 has a 1 st flap 41 and a 2 nd flap 42. The 1 st flap 41 and the 2 nd flap 42 overlap each other in a state of being attached to underwear. In order to overlap the 1 st flap 41 and the 2 nd flap 42 with each other when the flaps are attached to underwear, the total length of the 1 st flap in the width direction (the length from the base end of the flap to the outer edge of the flap) plus the 2 nd flap 42 in the width direction should be longer than the distance between the base end of the 1 st flap and the base end of the 2 nd flap 42, and is preferably 1.2 times or more the distance between the base end of the 1 st flap and the base end of the 2 nd flap 42. The base end portions of the flaps are portions located on the innermost sides of the flaps in the width direction, and are portions intersecting the main body portion. When the flaps are folded back toward the non-skin-facing side of the underwear, the base end portions of the flaps form folding lines.
The 1 st flap 41 has a 1 st flap engagement portion 61 as a flap engagement portion and a front side tear guide portion 80 extending in the front-rear direction L from the front end edge 41FE of the 1 st flap 41. The 2 nd flap 42 has the 2 nd flap engagement portion 62 as a flap engagement portion, and does not have a front side tear guide. That is, the front tear guide 80 is provided only to the 1 st flap 41. The front end edges of the flaps are outer edges of the flaps, which extend outward in the width direction from the proximal end portions of the flaps on the front side.
The front tear guide portion 80 is configured to allow the wearer to easily tear the flap, and specifically includes a dotted line, a recessed portion recessed rearward from the front end edge of the flap, a weakened portion having a lower material strength than the surrounding portion, and a combination thereof. The dotted line has an opening through which the side sheet and the non-skin surface sheet constituting the flap penetrate. In addition, the fragile portion can be exemplified by: the material constituting the 1 st flap is widened to reduce the weight per unit area, the skin-side sheet is provided with an opening without providing an opening in the non-skin-side sheet, and the strength is reduced compared to the surrounding area, and the material is reduced in strength by heat and pressure by means of embossing or the like. Since the front tear guide 80 is provided in the 1 st flap 41, the wearer can separate the 1 st flap into two parts via the front tear guide 80 by pulling the main body portion 2 in order to remove the absorbent article.
The front tear guide 80 extends in the front-rear direction L, and a tear portion torn by the front tear guide 80 extends in the front-rear direction L. The front tear guide may extend in the front-rear direction. This is to facilitate the application of force when the main body portion is gripped and torn off from the underwear. The front tear guide includes a front tear guide inclined in the front-rear direction as long as the front tear guide does not tear in the width direction. The front edge of the front tear guide 80 can coincide with the front edge of the 1 st flap 41. The configuration in which the distance between the front end edge of the front tear guide portion 80 and the front end edge of the 1 st flap 41 is 4mm or less can exhibit the same effect as the configuration in which the front end edge of the front tear guide portion 80 and the front end edge of the 1 st flap 41 are aligned, and the 1 st flap 41 can be easily separated via the front tear guide portion 80. The rear end edge of the front tear guide 80 may be located rearward of the center 4LC of the flap 4 in the front-rear direction. By breaking the front tear guide, the 1 st flap 41 is torn to a length of at least half of the length in the front-rear direction. The wearer can easily break the entire region of the 1 st flap in the front-rear direction by further pulling the main body portion.
The front tear guide portion 80 is disposed on the width direction inner side of the 1 st flap joining portion 61 in the deployed state of the 1 st flap shown in fig. 1 and 2. The distance D11 between the 1 st flap engagement portion 61 and the front tear guide 80 may BE shorter than the distance D12 between the base end portion 41BE of the 1 st flap 41 and the front tear guide 80. When the wearer pulls the main body portion in a direction away from the undergarment, a tearing force acts between the main body portion and the flaps, and in the 1 st flap, a force tends to act in the vicinity of the 1 st flap engagement portion 61. Since the front side tear guide 80 is located in the vicinity of the 1 st flap joining portion 61 with respect to the proximal end portion of the 1 st flap 41, the tearing force can be efficiently applied to the front side tear guide 80, and the 1 st flap 41 can be easily separated into two parts.
In the deployed state of the 1 st flap 41, the distance D13 between the base end portion 41BE of the 1 st flap 41 and the base end portion 42BE of the 2 nd flap 42 may BE longer than the distance D12 between the base end portion 41BE of the 1 st flap 41 and the leading tear guide 80 plus the distance D14 between the outer edge of the 2 nd flap engagement portion 62 and the base end portion 42BE of the 2 nd flap 42. Since distance D13 is longer than the combined length of distance D12 plus distance D14, the 2 nd flap juncture 62 and the front tear guide 80 will necessarily separate in the width direction in the 1 st installed state. The 2 nd flap-joining portion 62 does not overlap the front side tear guide 80, and therefore the 1 st flap is easily torn by the front side tear guide 80 and smoothly separated into two parts. The difference between the distance D13 and the distance D12 plus the distance D14 may be 3mm or more. If the difference between the distance D12 plus the distance D14 and the distance D13 is less than 3mm, when the flaps are folded back to the non-muscle side from the positions on the widthwise inner side of the flap base ends as folding base points, the 2 nd flap joining portions 62 may overlap the front tear guide portions 80 in the 1 st attached state, and the front tear guide portions 80 may be difficult to break.
In addition, at least one of the materials constituting the 1 st flap may be a sheet having fibers, and the fibers may be oriented in the front-rear direction L. Since the orientation direction of the fibers is along the front-rear direction, the tear portion of the 1 st flap easily extends in the front-rear direction, and the entire 1 st flap can be easily torn without providing a front tear guide in the entire region of the 1 st flap in the front-rear direction.
(3) Tear Strength of the flaps
The tear strength of the flaps will be described below. The 1 st flap is configured not to be inadvertently torn by the front side tear guide portion during attachment, is easily torn by the front side tear guide portion during detachment, and has a predetermined tear strength.
The 1 st flap may have a tear strength in the front-to-back direction that is lower than the tear strength of the 1 st flap in the width direction. Since the 1 st flap 41 is easily torn in the front-rear direction, it is easily broken in the front-rear direction via the front-side tear guide, and the 1 st flap 41 can be smoothly separated into two parts. In addition, the tear strength in the front-rear direction of the material constituting the 1 st flap may be lower than the tear strength in the width direction of the material constituting the 1 st flap. The material constituting the 1 st flap 41 is easily torn in the front-rear direction, and the torn portion of the 1 st flap 41 easily extends in the front-rear direction, and thus the absorbent body can be prevented from being exposed by tearing in the width direction. The 1 st flap 41 is easily separable into two parts at the tear location along the front-to-back direction.
The tear strength of the 1 st flap is the strength in the state where the front tear guide is provided, and the tear strength of the material constituting the 1 st flap is the strength in the state where the front tear guide is not provided. The strength of the material constituting the 1 st flap in the present embodiment is the strength in a state where the side sheet 12 and the non-skin surface sheet are superposed.
In order to prevent the 1 st flap from being inadvertently torn through the front side tear guide during attachment, the 1 st flap may have a tensile strength of 2N/25mm or more in the width direction.
Fig. 3 is a diagram for explaining a method of measuring tensile strength and a method of measuring tear strength. FIG. 3(a) is a view showing a method of measuring tensile strength and a measurement sample. The test piece was produced so that the longitudinal direction thereof was coincident with the front-back direction or the width direction thereof, and was attached to a tensile testing machine with a jig interval of 20 mm. The sample was stretched at a stretching speed of 300mm/min, and the maximum load until breakage was obtained, and this value was used as the tensile strength.
Fig. 3(b) and (c) are diagrams showing a test specimen for measuring the tear strength of the flap and a measuring method. The sample was prepared so that the longitudinal direction thereof and the longitudinal direction of the slit were aligned with the front-back direction or the width direction of the absorbent article, and the sample was attached to a tensile testing machine with a grip margin of 10mm for each grip and with a grip interval of 20 mm. The sample was pulled at a tensile rate of 300mm/min, and the maximum load until breakage was obtained, and this value was defined as the tear strength.
(4) Method for removing absorbent article
Next, a mode of removing the absorbent article configured as above from underwear will be described. Fig. 4 to 7 show a state in which the absorbent article is attached to underwear. Fig. 4 and 5 show a 1 st attachment state in which the 1 st flap 41 is disposed inside the 2 nd flap 42 in the thickness direction T and the absorbent article 1 is attached to the underwear S, and fig. 6 and 7 show a 2 nd attachment state in which the 1 st flap 41 is disposed outside the 2 nd flap 42 in the thickness direction T and the absorbent article 1 is attached to the underwear. Fig. 8 is a view schematically showing a removal mode in the 2 nd mounting state.
As shown in fig. 8(a) and (B), in a state where the absorbent article 1 is attached to the underwear S, the main body portion 2 is joined to the skin-facing surface side of the underwear S, and the pair of wings 4 is joined to the non-skin-facing surface side of the underwear. More specifically, in the 1 st attachment state, the 1 st flap 41 and the panty S are joined via the 1 st flap joining section 61, and the 1 st flap 41 and the 2 nd flap 42 are joined via the 2 nd flap joining section 62. In the 2 nd attachment state, the 2 nd flap 42 and the underpants S are joined via the 2 nd flap joining section 62, and the 1 st flap 41 and the 2 nd flap 42 are joined via the 1 st flap joining section 61.
When removing the absorbent article 1, the wearer generally holds the front end edge of the main body 2 and pulls the front end edge of the main body 2 in a direction away from the underwear. Since the pair of flaps 4 are joined to each other on the non-skin-facing side of the underwear, a tearing force acts between the main body 2 and the flaps 4 in order to maintain the joined state with the underwear when the main body 2 is separated from the underwear. The force applied to the flaps 4 is likely to be strongly applied to the front side held by the wearer. The 1 st flap 41 is torn through the front tear guide 80 (see fig. 8C and D). When the wearer further pulls the main body portion 2, as shown in fig. 8(E) and b (f), the 1 st flap 41 is separated into two parts in the front-rear direction L. On the other hand, the 2 nd flap 42 does not have the front side tear guide 80, and therefore the 2 nd flap 42 does not tear from the front end edge of the flap.
When the 1 st flap 41 is separated into two parts in the 1 st attachment state, one of the 1 st flaps (the base end side of the flap) is continuous with the main body portion 2, and the other 1 st flap (the outer edge side of the flap in the deployed state) is continuous with the 2 nd flap 42 via the 2 nd flap joining portion 62. When the wearer pulls the absorbent article further, the 1 st flap engagement portion 61 separates from the undergarment, and the main body engagement portion 60 separates from the undergarment, and the entire absorbent article is removed from the undergarment.
When the 1 st wing 41 is separated into two parts in the 2 nd attachment state, one of the 1 st wings (the base end side of the wing) is continuous with the main body, and the other 1 st wing (the outer edge side of the wing in the deployed state) is continuous with the 2 nd wing 42 via the 1 st wing joint portion 61. When the wearer pulls the absorbent article further, the 2 nd flap engagement portion 62 separates from the undergarment, and the main body engagement portion 60 separates from the undergarment, and the entire absorbent article moves away from the undergarment. Since the 2 nd flaps 42 are not separated even when the 1 st flaps 41 are separated, the state in which the main body section 2 and the flaps 4 are connected can be maintained, and the flaps can be prevented from falling off during the removal operation and the removal operation of the absorbent article can be performed cleanly.
(5) Modification example
Next, an absorbent article according to a modified example will be described with reference to fig. 9 to 11. In the description of the modified example, the same reference numerals are used for the same components as those of the above-described embodiment, and the description thereof is omitted. Fig. 9 is a plan view of the absorbent article 1A of modification 1 in a developed state. The absorbent article 1A of modification 1 includes a front tear guide 81 formed of a concave portion. The 1 st flap 41 of the absorbent article 1A according to modification 1 includes a sheet junction region R1 where the skin surface sheet 10 is joined to the non-skin surface sheet 20 and a sheet non-junction region R2 where the skin surface sheet 10 is not joined to the non-skin surface sheet 20, and the sheet junction region R1 and the sheet non-junction region R2 extend in the front-back direction.
The sheet joining region R1 is a region marked with diagonal lines in fig. 9. The sheet joining region R1 is a region where the sheets are joined to each other by an adhesive such as HMA, thermal fusion, or the like. The front tear guide 81 is a recessed portion recessed rearward from the front end edge of the 1 st flap 41. The front side tear guide 81 is disposed in the sheet non-joining region R2. The recessed portion may be recessed rearward from the front end edge of the flap, and may be in any shape, such as an arc shape, a trapezoidal shape, or a V-shape. The length of the recess in the front-rear direction (the depth of the recess) may be 1mm to 15 mm. This is because the length of the recessed portion in the front-rear direction is 1mm or more, which is likely to cause tearing of the flap, and if the length of the recessed portion in the front-rear direction is 15mm or less, the flap may tear unexpectedly.
The sheet non-joining region R2 is lower in strength than the sheet joining region R1 and is easily torn by the front side tear guide 81. Since the front tear guide 81 is disposed in the sheet non-joined region R2 where the strength is relatively low, the 1 st flap is torn in the sheet non-joined region R2. Since the sheet joining region R1 and the sheet non-joining region R2 extend in the front-rear direction, the tear portion easily extends in the front-rear direction. This makes it possible to easily separate the 1 st flap.
Fig. 10 is a plan view of the absorbent article 1B according to modification 2 in an unfolded state. The absorbent article 1B of modification 2 includes a front side tear guide 82 including a dotted line and a concave portion. The front tear guide 82 is formed of recessed portions located at the front end edge 41FE and the rear end edge 41RE of the 1 st flap 41, and a dotted line continuously extending between the recessed portions. In the absorbent article of modification 2, when the wearer pulls the main body portion in a direction away from the underwear in a state where the absorbent article is attached to the underwear, a tearing force acts on the flaps. Since the tearing force acts on the flap, the tearing force acts on the depressed portion of the recessed portion of the 1 st flap, and the dotted line breaks starting from the recessed portion. Alternatively, when the wearer pulls the main body portion in a direction away from the underwear, the force transmitted to the leading edge of the 1 st flap reaches the recessed portion, the direction of the force changes in the recessed portion and twists, and the dot-break line breaks with the recessed portion as a starting point. The recessed portion may be provided only at the leading edge 41FE of the 1 st flap 41. Since the recessed portion serves as a trigger for tearing the flap, the 1 st flap can be easily torn from the front side only in a configuration in which the distal edge 41FE of the 1 st flap 41 has the recessed portion.
The 1 st flap 41 has a narrowed portion 70 having a convex shape toward the center 4LC in the front-rear direction L. Tear guide 82 is provided in the region of constriction 70. The 1 st flap 41 has a convex region 72 that is convex outward from the center of the 1 st flap 41 in the front-rear direction L at a position inward in the width direction of the region of the narrowed portion 70. The area of the narrowing portion 70 is an area where the outer line 41FE of the 1 st flap 41 is convex toward the center 4LC in the front-rear direction L. The boundary of the region of the narrowing portion 70 on the inner side in the width direction W may be an inflection point on the outer line 41FE of the 1 st flap 41. In addition, when the tear guide 80 is provided at the boundary position of the region of the constricted portion 70, the tear guide 80 is also considered to be provided in the region of the constricted portion 70. In the case of the tear guide 82 formed of the concave portion as in the present embodiment, when the outer shape of the flap on both sides in the width direction or on one side in the width direction of the tear guide 82 is the region of the narrowed portion 70 (the region convex toward the center 4LC in the front-rear direction of the flap), it is considered that the tear guide 82 is provided in the region of the narrowed portion 70.
The 1 st flap 41 has a convex region 72 that is convex outward from the center of the 1 st flap 41 in the front-rear direction L at a position inward in the width direction of the region of the narrowed portion 70. The boundary of the convex region 72 on the outer side in the width direction W may be an inflection point on the outer line 41FE of the 1 st flap 41.
The outer edge of the region of the narrowed portion 70 in the width direction W may be located outward of the end edge of the 1 st-flap joining portion 61 on the inner side in the width direction W, or may be located outward of the end edge of the 1 st-flap joining portion 61 on the outer side in the width direction W. This makes it possible to easily apply a force concentrated on the 1 st flap joint 61 to the tear guide 80 when the absorbent article is removed from the underwear.
When the absorbent article is removed from the underwear, the user generally holds the end edge of the main body portion 2 and pulls the end edge of the main body portion 2 in a direction away from the underwear. When the main body 2 is separated from the underwear, the pair of flaps 41 and 42 are pulled toward the main body 2. A convex region 72 that is convex outward from the center of the 1 st flap 41 in the front-rear direction L is provided on the inner side in the width direction of the region of the narrowed region 70. When the user pulls the body 2, the convex region 72 bulging in the front-rear direction L pulls the portion on the outer side in the width direction than the convex region 72, that is, the region of the narrowed portion 70, inward in the width direction. On the other hand, the wing overlapping portions of the widthwise outer sides of the wings 41, 42, where the wings are joined to each other, are intended to stay on the non-muscle surface side of the underwear against the force pulled from the convex region 72, and the force acts on the wing overlapping portions. The force acting on flaps 41 and 42 tends to concentrate from convex regions 72 that bulge in the front-rear direction L to the position of narrowed portion 70. Since the tear guide 80 is present at the location of the narrowing 70, the tear guide 80 is easily torn by the force pulling on the wings 41, 42.
The front tear guide 82 of modification 2 is provided continuously from the front end edge 41FE to the rear end edge 41RE of the 1 st flap 41. In absorbent articles having the same shape on the front side and the back side, such as sanitary napkins for daily use, the wearer may turn back and forth. By providing the front side tear guide portion 82 from the front end edge to the rear end edge of the 1 st flap 41, even when the front and rear portions are reversed, the front side tear guide portion 82 is disposed on the front side of the wearer, and the 1 st flap 41 can be broken via the front side tear guide portion 82.
Fig. 11 is a plan view of the absorbent article 1C according to modification 3 in an unfolded state. In the absorbent article 1C of modification 3, tear guides are provided in both the 1 st flap 41 and the 2 nd flap 42. The 1 st flap 41 is provided with a front tear guide 83, and the 2 nd flap 42 is provided with a rear tear guide 84. The rear tear guide 84 extends in the front-rear direction from the rear end edge 42RE of the 2 nd flap 42. The rear tear guide 84 may be constituted by a dotted line, a concave portion, a fragile portion, or a combination thereof, as in the front tear guide.
The 2 nd flap 42 has the rear tear guide 84, so that even when the front and rear portions are reversed, either the front tear guide 80 of the 1 st flap 41 or the rear tear guide 84 of the 2 nd flap 42 is disposed on the front side of the wearer. Therefore, even when the front and rear are reversed, the main body section 2 and the pair of flaps 4 can be removed together without dropping a part of the flaps, and the operation of removing the absorbent article 1 can be performed cleanly.
In addition, when the wearer removes the absorbent article after use, the wearer may grip the rear side of the main body portion 2 and pull the main body portion in a direction away from the underwear. When the main body 2 is pulled from the rear side in this way, the 2 nd flaps 42 are also separated into two parts. Therefore, even when the detachment operation is performed with the front and back reversed, the main body section 2 and the pair of flaps 4 can be detached together without dropping a part of the flaps, and the detachment operation of the absorbent article can be performed cleanly.
The front tear guide 83 and the rear tear guide 84 are formed of a dotted line. The dotted line has a plurality of openings extending in the front-rear direction. The openings of the front tear guide 83 are arranged at intervals in the front-rear direction from the front end edges of the flaps. The openings of the rear tear guide portions 84 are arranged at intervals in the front-rear direction from the rear end edges of the flaps. The length L85 in the front-rear direction of the opening 85 located on the side of the edges (front and rear edges) in the front-rear direction of the flap is greater than the length L86 in the front-rear direction of the opening 86 located on the side of the center in the front-rear direction of the flap. Since the opening portions located on the front-rear direction end edges of the flaps have a relatively long length in the front-rear direction, the flaps can be easily separated at the initial stage of the operation of removing the absorbent article. On the other hand, since the opening portion located at the center in the front-rear direction of the flap is relatively small in size, the center in the front-rear direction of the flap, which is easily subjected to force during attachment and wearing, is less likely to tear, and inadvertent separation of the flap can be suppressed.
The front tear guide 80 of the 1 st flap 41 and the rear tear guide 84 of the 2 nd flap 42 preferably pass through the widthwise center of the absorbent article and are asymmetric with respect to the widthwise centerline 1WC extending in the front-rear direction. If the front tear guide 80 of the 1 st flap 41 and the rear tear guide 84 of the 2 nd flap 42 are symmetrical with respect to the width center line 1WC, when the flap 4 is separated from the main body 2 via the front tear guide 80 and the rear tear guide 84, the portion where the 1 st flap 41 and the 2 nd flap 42 overlap may be completely separated from each other, and the flaps may fall off during the removal operation. However, if the front tear guide portion 80 of the 1 st flap 41 and the rear tear guide portion 84 of the 2 nd flap 42 are asymmetric with respect to the width center line, when one flap 4 is completely separated, a part of the other flap is not separated, and the portion where the 1 st flap 41 and the 2 nd flap 42 overlap can be prevented from falling off during the removal operation.
As described above, the contents of the present invention are disclosed by the embodiments of the present invention, but it should not be understood that the discussion and the drawings forming a part of the disclosure are for limiting the present invention. Various alternative embodiments, examples, and application techniques will be apparent to those skilled in the art in light of this disclosure.
