Abstract

The invention discloses an ABS/polyester alloy material and a preparation method and application thereof, wherein the ABS/polyester alloy material comprises the following components: 50-80 parts of styrene-butadiene-acrylonitrile resin; 10-65 parts of polyester resin; high damping elastomer: 1.0-15 parts. According to the invention, polyester and high damping rubber are introduced into an ABS system, the prepared ABS/polyester alloy material has excellent environmental stress cracking resistance while having a noise reduction effect, can be used for various plastic parts instead of ABS, HIPS or PC/ABS, can effectively reduce the noise emitted by a part, can greatly improve the environmental stress cracking resistance of the part, solves the problems of water leakage, cracking and the like caused by the problems, and has remarkable technical and market values.

Background
Plastics are widely applied to the fields of household appliances, electronic appliances, electric tools, automobiles and the like, but the use experience of customers is influenced because plastic parts can generate unpleasant noises such as 'squeaking' and the like under the conditions of change, assembly, stress and the like of ambient temperature. To solve this problem, the common solution consists of applying a fleece, rubber or grease during the assembly process. Although these methods can reduce noise to some extent, they are complicated in process, high in labor cost, and difficult to ensure the effect with time. In addition, with the improvement of living standard of people, plastic parts are often contacted with solvents such as various cosmetics, edible oil, cleaning agents and the like, and the problems of environmental stress cracking and the like easily occur in amorphous materials such as ABS, PC/ABS and the like in the long-term use process, so that the normal functions of the parts are influenced.
Chinese patent CN106751687 discloses a noise-reducing and silencing PC/ABS alloy material and a preparation method thereof, which improves the viscoelasticity characteristic of the PC/ABS alloy by introducing high-damping silicone rubber, reduces the noise risk of PC/ABS plastic products and achieves the purposes of noise reduction and silencing. Chinese patent CN107325514 discloses a noise-reducing PC/ABS alloy and a preparation method thereof, wherein polyurethane is selected as a noise-reducing modifier, so that the damping coefficient of the material is improved, and the noise of the material in the friction process is reduced. Chinese patent CN201710012573 discloses a preparation method of a high-damping silicone rubber modified ABS sound insulation material based on low-frequency noise protection. Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene terpolymer (ABS) is used as a main body material, self-made polyurethane foaming prepolymer is added into the ABS main body material, and the sound insulation material prepared by mixing the polyurethane foaming prepolymer and the ABS has obvious sound insulation honeycombs and plays a good role in back-and-forth friction of sound. The high-damping silicone rubber modified ABS sound insulation material is prepared by selecting high-damping silicone rubber with good dissipation effect on low-frequency noise at room temperature and natural halloysite nanotubes as modified materials.
It is worth noting that the prior art mainly focuses on the realization of the noise reduction function of the material, but the material is still easy to crack under the action of the solvent, and the application range of the material is greatly limited. For example, materials used in common household electrical appliance parts are important for their noise reduction and resistance to common solvents.

The polyester resin is one or a mixture of more of polybutylene terephthalate resin PBT, polyethylene terephthalate PET, poly 1, 4-cyclohexanedimethanol terephthalate PCT, polytrimethylene terephthalate PTT, poly 1, 4-cyclohexanedimethanol terephthalate PETG, poly 1, 4-cyclohexanedimethanol terephthalate PCTG, poly 1, 4-cyclohexanedimethanol terephthalate PCTA or polymethyl methacrylate PMMA, preferably polyethylene terephthalate PET or polybutylene terephthalate resin PBT.
The mass ratio of the styrene-butadiene-acrylonitrile resin to the polyester resin is 6: 1-1: 1, preferably 3: 1-1.5: 1.
the mass ratio of the polyester resin to the high-damping elastomer is 5: 1-1: 1.
the high damping elastomer is one or a mixture of more of organic silicon rubber, ethylene-methyl acrylate-glycidyl methacrylate, ethylene-butyl acrylate-glycidyl methacrylate or polyurethane resin (such as WHT-1290).
The molecular main chain of the organic silicon rubber contains a structural unit (-Si-O-Si-) consisting of silicon atoms and oxygen atoms alternately, and the particle size of the organic silicon rubber is preferably 100-900 nm.
According to the actual performance requirement, the ABS/polyester alloy material also comprises a compatibilizer 0.5 in parts by weight
8 to 0.1 to 3 parts of antioxidant, 0.1 to 3 parts of lubricant and 0.1 to 3 parts of nucleating agent.
The compatibilizer is one or a mixture of a plurality of styrene-acrylonitrile-glycidyl methacrylate, styrene-acrylonitrile-maleic anhydride copolymer, ethylene-acrylate-glycidyl ester copolymer, ethylene-glycidyl ester or ethylene-n-butyl acrylate-glycidyl ester copolymer.
The antioxidant is one or more of hindered phenol antioxidant or phosphite antioxidant, such as antioxidant 1010 and antioxidant 168.
The nucleating agent is one or a mixture of more of vinyl acetate-vinyl acetate copolymer, ionomer, nano montmorillonite or nano talcum powder, and specifically comprises honeywell 295A, SURLYN 8920 and the like.
The lubricant is one or more of vinyl bis stearamide, polysiloxane, calcium stearate, magnesium stearate, zinc stearate, PE wax, PP wax, ABS wax or ethylene bis stearamide, such as vinyl bis stearamide EBS.
The invention also provides a preparation method of the ABS/polyester alloy material, which comprises the following steps:
uniformly mixing styrene-butadiene-acrylonitrile resin, polyester resin and high-damping elastomer, performing melt blending extrusion on a mechanical device, and performing underwater granulation and drying to obtain the ABS/polyester alloy material.
Wherein the processing temperature of the mechanical device is 120-280 ℃, and the rotating speed is 50-600 rpm.
The mechanical device can be a double-screw extruder, an internal mixer and the like, for example, the double-screw extruder is adopted, the temperature of the first zone to the second zone is 120-190 ℃, the temperature of the third zone to the fifth zone is 200-280 ℃, the temperature of the fifth zone to the fifth zone is 200-240 ℃, and the rotating speed of the screw is 350-450 rpm.
The invention also provides application of the ABS/polyester alloy material in household plastic parts (such as air conditioner bottom shells).

The raw materials used in the examples and comparative examples are now described below, but are not limited to these materials:
the antioxidant is 1010 and 168 produced by CIBA company;
the nucleating agent is 295A produced by Honeywell company;
the lubricant is vinyl bis stearamide EBS B50;
the compatibilizer is styrene-acrylonitrile-glycidyl methacrylate, and is preferably easy to SAG;
styrene-butadiene-acrylonitrile resin (ABS resin) is ABS DG-MG29 of Tianjin staphyl;
high damping elastomer:
the polyurethane is WHT-1290 in Wanhua chemistry;
silicone rubber, commercially available, with a particle size of 100-500 nm;
polyester resin:
PET resin, commercially available;
PBT resin, commercially available;
PCT resin, commercially available;
PETG resin, commercially available.
Examples 1-8 and comparative examples 1-5:
the components are uniformly mixed according to the mixture ratio in the table 1, the components are subjected to melt blending extrusion in a double-screw extruder, and the ABS/polyester alloy material is obtained after underwater grain cutting and drying, wherein the performance test result is shown in the table 2; wherein the temperature of the first zone to the second zone of the double-screw extruder is 120-190 ℃, the temperature of the third zone to the fifth zone is 200-280 ℃, the temperature of the fifth zone to the tenth zone is 200-240 ℃, and the rotating speed of the screw is 350-450 rpm.
The notch impact strength is tested according to the ISO 180 standard, and the notch type is A type;
the tensile strength is tested according to ISO 527 standard, and the tensile speed is 50 mm/min;
the bending strength is tested according to ISO 178 standard, and the bending speed is 2 mm/min;
stress cracking time: the testing solvent is glacial acetic acid (>99%), and the flexibility of the testing clamp is 2.54 cm; the sample strip was bent following the shape of the jig and fixed to the test jig by screws. Glacial acetic acid was then added dropwise in the middle of the bars while the cracking time of the bars was recorded using a stopwatch.

As can be seen from comparative examples 1-2 of Table 1, the environmental stress resistance of both the conventional ABS and the ABS material with the high damping elastomer added thereto is poor, and the cracking time under the current test conditions is several tens of seconds. The embodiment of the invention can find that the ABS/polyester alloy material prepared according to the invention has excellent environmental stress cracking resistance and can effectively reduce the sound production level of the material.

Claims (9)

1. The ABS/polyester alloy material is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight:
50-80 parts of styrene-butadiene-acrylonitrile resin;
10-65 parts of polyester resin;
6.0 to 15 portions of high-damping elastomer;
the mass ratio of the polyester resin to the high-damping elastomer is 5: 1-1: 1;
the high damping elastomer is organic silicon rubber;
the mass ratio of the styrene-butadiene-acrylonitrile resin to the polyester resin is 6: 1-1: 1;
the molecular main chain of the organic silicon rubber contains a structural unit consisting of silicon atoms and oxygen atoms alternately, and the particle size is 100-900 nm.

7. The preparation method of the ABS/polyester alloy material according to any of claims 1-6, characterized by comprising the following steps:
