Background
At present, the electrochemical compressor technology has been gradually applied to the technical field of air conditioners, and the principle of the electrochemical compressor is as follows: operating by pumping protons through an ion exchange membrane located between two gas diffusion electrodes, the protons driving a non-fluorine refrigerant through the ion exchange membrane; after the refrigerant reaches the other side of the membrane, it is released at high pressure into the refrigeration cycle. In the air-conditioning structure adopting the electrochemical compressor, hydrogen is mostly used as a refrigerating medium, and the metal hydride is filled in the heat exchanger, and has the characteristics of hydrogen absorption and heat release and hydrogen desorption, so that the temperature of the air flowing through is increased or reduced in the hydrogen absorption or hydrogen desorption process of the metal hydride.
The electrochemical compressor mainly comprises an anode, a cathode, a proton exchange membrane and other components, wherein each electrode comprises a gas diffusion layer and a catalytic layer; when the electrochemical press is used for transmitting hydrogen, hydrogen and water can pass through the gas diffusion layer to reach the catalytic layer to participate in electrochemical reaction. After the metal hydride repeatedly absorbs/releases hydrogen, the unit cell structure of the hydride changes, and further the problem of pulverization of the metal hydride is caused, while in the process of delivering the hydrogen, the pulverized metal hydride powder may be carried into the electrochemical compressor by the hydrogen, and the long-time accumulated powder can block a gas diffusion layer and a catalytic layer, thereby reducing the working efficiency of the electrochemical compressor, causing the need of component replacement and increasing the use cost.

As for the methods, products and the like disclosed by the embodiments, the description is simple because the methods correspond to the method parts disclosed by the embodiments, and the related parts can be referred to the method parts for description.
As shown in fig. 1, the present invention provides a metal hydride detection device, which can be used for detecting whether a detection site in an electrochemical compressor 3 of an air conditioner has metal hydride accumulation, the detection device mainly comprises a sensing electrode 1 and a control, wherein the sensing electrode 1 is arranged at least one of one or more detection sites of the electrochemical compressor, and can be in contact with water vapor, metal hydride or a mixed reactant of the two at the detection site, so as to generate a potential difference; the controller 2 is electrically connected with the sensing electrode 1, and the controller 2 is used for detecting the potential of the sensing electrode 1, determining the pH value of the detection part according to the potential condition and determining the accumulation amount of the metal hydride at the detection part according to the pH value. The invention can judge whether metal hydride powder enters the electrochemical compressor 3 or not by detecting the pH value change of the detection part in the electrochemical compressor 3, so that a user can timely maintain the electrochemical compressor 3 when the metal hydride is accumulated too much, and the fault problem of the electrochemical compressor 3 caused by the metal hydride powder is reduced.
The working principle of the invention is that when the electrochemical compressor 3 works, the detection positions of the gas diffusion layer 31, the catalytic layer 32 and the like have hydrogen and water vapor input/output; meanwhile, the metal hydride filled in the metal hydride heat exchanger 4 is easy to react with water and generate acidic or alkaline substances, so that when the metal hydride powder enters the electrochemical compressor 3 along with hydrogen, the metal hydride powder reacts with water vapor in the electrochemical compressor 3, and the invention detects the detection part of the electrochemical compressor 3The pH value of the bit can determine whether metal hydride exists in the electrochemical compressor 3 or not; for example, where a metal hydride is RH, where R is an alkali metal, the equation for the reaction of the metal hydride with water is: RH + H2O==ROH+H2The greater the amount of metal hydride powder, the greater the degree of acidity or alkalinity, and therefore the greater the approximate amount of metal hydride accumulated in the electrochemical compressor 3, which, when reaching a certain value, requires maintenance and replacement or is otherwise prone to clogging problems.
In one embodiment, the process of detecting PH value by the detection device of the present invention is the same as that by a conventional PH meter, so that the sensing electrode 1 of the detection device of the present invention is an electrode set, each electrode set comprises a glass electrode and a reference electrode, both electrodes are disposed at the same detection site, and the PH value condition at the detection site can be determined by the potential or potential difference information between the two electrodes of the controller 2.
The number of the detection parts can be determined according to the requirement of detection precision and the specific structure of the electrochemical compressor, a plurality of detection parts can be set in the electrochemical compressor, and the induction electrode 1 can be arranged at one or more detection parts according to the requirement.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the controller 2 determines the accumulation amount of the metal hydride at the detection site according to the ph, and the specific process includes: and matching the pH value of the detected part in the incidence relation according to the incidence relation between the preset pH value and the metal hydride accumulation amount, and determining the metal hydride accumulation amount corresponding to the pH value.
Specifically, when the PH of the detection site is less than 7, the higher the PH, the lower the acidity, and the more the amount of metal hydride accumulated; similarly, when the PH of the detection site is greater than 7, the higher the PH, the higher the alkalinity, and the greater the amount of the metal hydride accumulated.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the controller 2 is further configured to output an alarm electrical signal when the accumulation amount at the detection site is greater than a preset accumulation amount threshold; the detection device also comprises an indicator which is used for receiving the alarm electric signal and sending out an alarm indication. The indicator can be a conventional buzzer, a flash indicator and other instruments, and can send out striking alarm information, so that a user can notice alarm indication more easily.
The invention provides an air conditioner applying an electrochemical compressor, which comprises a shell, an electrochemical compressor 3 arranged in the shell, at least two metal hydride heat exchangers 4 and a metal hydride detection device, wherein the electrochemical compressor 3 is provided with a gas diffusion layer 31 for water vapor and hydrogen to pass through, and the detection part is positioned on the gas diffusion layer 31. Since the metal hydride powder is fine, it can permeate into other parts of the electrochemical compressor 3 such as the catalyst layer 32, and the position of the detection site where the sensing electrode 1 is provided in the detection device of the present invention is not limited to the gas diffusion layer 31, and may be selected from the catalyst layer 32 and the like.
The selected detection site is required to satisfy the conditions including: (1) water vapor passes through the metal hydride so that the metal hydride can react with the water vapor; (2) hydrogen passes through the electrochemical compressor 3, because the hydrogen is used as a medium of an air conditioner applying the electrochemical compressor 3 and is also a carrier of metal hydride powder, the metal hydride powder enters the electrochemical compressor 3 under the driving of hydrogen gas flow, and therefore the metal hydride heat exchanger 4 is accumulated on a flow path of the hydrogen; (3) there are no other acidic and basic substances to avoid disturbing influences, for example, since hydrogen is in the electrolyte tank in one of the paths of the electrochemical compressor 3, and the electrolyte is acidic and basic, the detection site cannot be selected in the electrolyte tank site.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the electrochemical compressor 3 has a port for hydrogen gas inlet and outlet, and the accumulation amount of metal hydride is the largest near the hydrogen gas inlet and outlet, so the ph value of the metal hydride changes greatly at the position, so the detection site of the present invention is preferably disposed on the side of the gas diffusion layer 31 near the port.
In another embodiment of the present invention, after the metal hydride powder enters the electrochemical compressor 3, the flow rate of the hydrogen gas as the carrier is reduced and is affected by the barrier effect of the gas diffusion layer 31, so the metal hydride powder gradually settles at the bottom of the gas diffusion layer 31, and therefore the ph change at the bottom position is also large, so the detection site of the present invention can also be arranged at the bottom of the gas diffusion layer 31.
As shown in fig. 2, the present invention provides a safety inspection method of an air conditioner using an electrochemical compressor, comprising the steps of:
s101, acquiring the potential of a detection part of the electrochemical compressor;
s102, determining the pH value of the detection part according to the potential condition, and determining the accumulation amount of the metal hydride at the detection part according to the pH value;
and S103, outputting an alarm electric signal when the accumulation amount of the detection part is larger than a preset accumulation amount threshold value.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the step S102 of determining the accumulation amount of the metal hydride at the detection site according to the ph value comprises the following specific steps: and matching the pH value of the detected part in the incidence relation according to the incidence relation between the preset pH value and the metal hydride accumulation amount, and determining the metal hydride accumulation amount corresponding to the pH value.
The invention provides a safety detection device of an air conditioner applying an electrochemical compressor, which adopts the control method disclosed in the embodiment to detect the metal hydride accumulation amount of the electrochemical compressor, and the safety control device comprises: an acquisition unit for acquiring an electric potential at a detection site of the electrochemical compressor; the determination unit is used for determining the pH value of the detection part according to the potential condition and determining the accumulation amount of the metal hydride at the detection part according to the pH value; and the alarm unit is used for outputting an alarm electric signal when the accumulation amount of the detection part is larger than a preset accumulation amount threshold value.
In one embodiment of the invention, the determination unit is configured to: and matching the pH value of the detected part in the incidence relation according to the incidence relation between the preset pH value and the metal hydride accumulation amount, and determining the metal hydride accumulation amount corresponding to the pH value.
Other parts or structures of the air conditioner do not relate to the innovation point of the scheme, so the scheme is not described in detail.
It is to be understood that the present invention is not limited to the procedures and structures described above and shown in the drawings, and that various modifications and changes may be made without departing from the scope thereof. The scope of the invention is limited only by the appended claims.
