9. A plug as claimed in claim 7 or claim 8 wherein the live pin comprises a helical live conductor portion and a live insulator portion surrounding a lower end of the live conductor portion, the live insulator portion being connected to the connecting socket.
10. The plug of claim 9 wherein the neutral pin includes a post and a coil disposed around an outer surface of the post.
11. A plug adapted to mate with the socket of any one of claims 2 to 6, said plug comprising a connecting base having a live pin adapted to said live plug channel, a neutral pin adapted to said neutral plug channel, and a ground pin adapted to said ground plug channel.
12. The plug of claim 11, wherein the plug has a resilient positioning post that mates with the first and second positioning holes of the socket, the plug being electrically connected to the socket when the plug is inserted into the socket and the positioning post is inserted into the first positioning hole, and the plug being electrically disconnected from the socket when the plug is inserted into the socket and the positioning post is inserted into the second positioning hole.
13. A plug as claimed in claim 11 or claim 12 wherein the live pin comprises a helical live conductor portion and a live insulator portion surrounding a lower end of the live conductor portion, the live insulator portion being connected to the connecting socket.
14. The plug of claim 13 wherein the ground pin includes a helical ground conductor portion and a ground insulator portion covering a lower end of the ground conductor portion, the ground insulator portion being connected to the connecting socket.
15. The plug of claim 14 wherein the neutral pin includes a post and a coil disposed around an outer surface of the post.
16. A patch panel comprising the socket of any one of claims 1-6.
17. A patch panel comprising the socket according to any one of claims 1 to 6 and the plug according to any one of claims 7 to 15, the plug being electrically connected to the socket by a wire.
18. An electrical device comprising an electrical body and a plug as claimed in any one of claims 7 to 15, the plug being electrically connected to the electrical body by a wire.
