Optionally, a factory reset key is usually set on the gateway device, and when the user presses the factory reset key, the gateway device receives a factory reset instruction. Optionally, the gateway device may receive a factory reset instruction in the networking state, or may receive a factory reset instruction in the network disconnection state, and optionally, after the gateway device is reset in the networking state, the network information may not be automatically connected to the network after being cleared.
The factory resetting restoration instruction is used for restoring the setting of the gateway device to an initial state, namely restoring all parameter configurations of the gateway device to original data.
Step 202, the gateway device modifies the value of the registration flag according to the factory reset instruction.
Optionally, the value of the registration flag is used to identify a device-side registration state of the gateway device. I.e. the registration status of the gateway device in the server, stored in the gateway device.
Optionally, the initial value of the registration flag bit is used to indicate that the device-side registration state of the gateway device is unregistered, and when the user registers the gateway device in the server, the value of the registration flag bit changes accordingly, that is, the registration flag bit is used to indicate that the device-side registration state of the gateway device is registered, and when the gateway device is restored to the factory setting, the value of the registration flag bit is restored to the initial value.
Illustratively, the initial value of the registration flag is a first value, when the gateway device is registered, the value of the registration flag is modified to a second value, and when the gateway device is restored to the factory setting, the value of the registration flag is correspondingly changed to the first value.
Step 203, the gateway device sends the registration information carrying the gateway identifier to the server.
Optionally, the registration information is used to indicate to the server, and when the device-side registration state is unregistered and the server-side registration state is registered, the information of the smart home device corresponding to the gateway device in the server is emptied.

Illustratively, the initial value of the registration flag is a first value, when the gateway device is registered, the value of the registration flag is modified to a second value, and when the gateway device is restored to the factory setting, the value of the registration flag is correspondingly changed to the first value.
Optionally, the manner in which the user restores the gateway device to the factory setting at least includes: firstly, factory resetting is carried out through a factory resetting key on gateway equipment, and when a user presses the factory resetting key, the gateway equipment receives a factory resetting instruction; and secondly, restoring factory settings of the gateway equipment through the terminal associated with the gateway equipment, and after a user selects to restore the factory settings of the gateway equipment on the terminal, receiving a factory setting restoration instruction by the gateway equipment, namely the user, and disconnecting the connection relation with the terminal. Optionally, the gateway device may receive a factory reset instruction in the networking state, or may receive a factory reset instruction in the network disconnection state, and optionally, after the gateway device is reset in the networking state, the network information may not be automatically connected to the network after being cleared.
The factory resetting instruction is used for resetting the gateway device to an initial state, namely, resetting all parameter configurations of the gateway device to original data which are originally obtained when the gateway device is dispatched from a factory and opened for the first time.
And step 302, the gateway device modifies the value of the registration flag bit according to the factory reset instruction.
Optionally, the value of the registration flag is used to identify a device-side registration state of the gateway device. I.e. the registration status of the gateway device in the server, stored in the gateway device.
Optionally, the value of the registration flag includes a first value and a second value, where the first value is used to indicate that the registration state of the device side is unregistered, and the second value is used to indicate that the registration state of the device side is registered. Illustratively, the first value of the registration flag is 0, and the second value is 1.
Optionally, the gateway device modifies the value of the registration flag according to the factory reset instruction, that is, the gateway device modifies the value of the registration flag from the second value to the first value according to the factory reset instruction. Illustratively, the gateway device modifies the value of the registration flag bit from 1 to 0 according to the factory reset instruction.
Optionally, the gateway device releases the binding relationship with the smart home device according to the factory reset instruction, that is, the gateway device cannot control the smart home device through the short-distance wireless communication technology after the gateway device is released from the binding relationship.
Step 303, the gateway device sends the registration information carrying the gateway identifier to the server.
Optionally, the registration information further includes a device-side registration status of the gateway device, where the device-side registration status may be a registered status or an unregistered status.
Optionally, the registration information is used to indicate to the server, and when the device-side registration state is unregistered and the server-side registration state is registered, the information of the smart home device corresponding to the gateway device in the server is emptied.
In step 304, the server receives the registration information sent by the gateway device.
Optionally, the registration information is information sent by the gateway device according to a value of the registration flag bit, that is, when the value of the registration flag bit is the first value, the gateway device sends the registration information to the server. The registration information is used for representing the device side registration state of the gateway device, and the registration information includes the gateway identifier of the gateway device.
Step 305, the server searches for a server side registration state corresponding to the gateway device according to the gateway identifier.
