一种时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,包括:DFB激光器,用于产生波长可调的光脉冲;光纤网络,包括耦合至DFB激光器的光纤,光纤上布置有光纤布拉格光栅传感器阵列,其包括多个间隔设置的光纤布拉格光栅传感器,光纤布拉格光栅传感器的布拉格波长均在DFB激光器波长的+/‑1nm范围内,反射率均不超过1%;光电探测器,用于接收来自光纤布拉格传感器阵列的反射信号;及信号处理单元,用于控制DBF激光器,并分析光电探测器转换的光纤布拉格光栅光谱偏移并转换成测试参数,信号处理单元包括FPGA模块和CPU模块。上述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统响应时间短且体积小的时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及光纤光栅传感技术领域,特别涉及一种时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统。
背景技术
光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)是被广泛用作监测环境参数变化的传感器。FBG传感通常形成于在单模光纤中的轴向折射率周期性变化。例如,在温度或应变的扰动下,通过检测FBG布拉格光栅的反射光谱,可呈现出波长偏移。
FBG可以复用用于长距离,准分布式传感应用,如管道应变和温度测量,隧道、桥梁等。波分复用(WDM)和时分复用(TDM)是最广泛使用的复用方法。在WDM中,各自FBG的布拉格波长被设置为不同的值,波长的间隔需要足够远,使得两个相邻FBG的布拉格波长不会重叠。因此,可复用的FBG的数量将受到限制。然而,最先进的技术展示了几个缺点。首先,传感系统的设备成本高,严重限制了领域的有效应用。为了检测布拉格波长偏移,传统方法使用了光谱分析仪或窄线宽可调激光器等FBG传感设备部件。这样的设备体积大而且昂贵。
发明内容
基于此,有必要提供一种响应时间短且体积小的时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统。
一种时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,包括:
DFB激光器,用于产生波长可调的光脉冲;
光纤网络,包括耦合至所述DFB激光器的光纤,所述光纤上布置有光纤布拉格光栅传感器阵列,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器阵列包括多个间隔设置的光纤布拉格光栅传感器,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器的布拉格波长均在DFB激光器波长的+/-1nm范围内,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器的反射率均不超过1%;
光电探测器,用于接收来自所述光纤布拉格传感器阵列的反射信号;及
信号处理单元,用于控制所述DBF激光器产生波长可调的脉冲光,并分析所述光电探测器转换的光纤布拉格光栅光谱偏移并转换成测试参数,所述信号处理单元包括FPGA模块和CPU模块。
在其中一个实施例中,所述DFB激光器产生的光脉冲的可调波长范围约为4nm。
在其中一个实施例中,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器的反射带宽约为1nm,受传感量的影响偏移量为0-3nm。
在其中一个实施例中,所述DFB激光器具有热电致冷器,用于改变所述DFB激光器的源区温度。
在其中一个实施例中,在单个光纤上布设多个光纤布拉格光栅传感器,形成所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器阵列。
在其中一个实施例中,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器测量的参数包括温度、应变、压力、水位、位移和电流中的至少一个。
在其中一个实施例中,所述FBG传感器同时测量多个参数。
在其中一个实施例中,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器的反射率减小到0.1%以下以增强可时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感器的容量。
在其中一个实施例中,所述光纤网络包括光纤耦合器,通过所述光纤耦合器将所述光纤耦合至所述DFB激光器。
在其中一个实施例中,所述多个间隔设置的光纤布拉格光栅传感器均匀分布在所述光纤上。
在上述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,通过使用窄带可调制分布反馈(DFB)激光器,首先DFB激光器对温度变化敏感,通过热电致冷控制其内部温度,波长将相应变化;通过信号处理单元中的FPGA模块,解决了数据处理的用时通常较慢从而难以实现实时传感的问题,由于信号处理单元包括FPGA模块和CPU模块,响应时间大大降低;通过FBG传感器阵列的多参量感知能力,FBG的布拉格波长对多个环境参数(如应变,温度,压力等)十分敏感,因此可以将FBG运用于一系列不同的传感应用中。

具体实施方式
下面结合实施方式及附图,对时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统作进一步的详细说明。
请参阅图1-3,一实施方式的时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统100,包括:DFB激光器10、光纤网络20、光电探测器30及信号处理单元40。DFB激光器10用于产生波长可调的光脉冲;光纤网络20,包括耦合至DFB激光器10的光纤210,光纤210上布置有FBG传感器阵列212,FBG传感器阵列212包括多个间隔设置的FBG传感器2122,这些FBG传感器布拉格波长基本相同,布拉格波长均在DFB激光器波长的+/-1nm范围内,这些FBG传感器反射率均不超过1%;光电探测器30,用于接收来自FBG传感器阵列212的反射信号;及控制与信号处理单元40,用于控制DBF激光器产生波长可调的脉冲光,分析光电探测器30转换的FBG光谱偏移并转换成测试参数,信号处理单元40包括FPGA模块和CPU模块,FPGA模块和CPU模块配合使用,大大降低了响应的时间。
在一实施方式中,DFB激光器10产生的光脉冲为波长可调的光脉冲。
在一实施方式中,DFB激光器10具有热电致冷器(Thermo Electric Cooler,TEC),利用TEC改变DFB激光器的源区温度并因此改变DFB激光器的波长。。
在一实施方式中,DFB激光器10的可调波长范围约为4nm。FBG传感器的反射带宽大约1nm,受传感量的影响会偏移0-3nm。DFB激光器扫描4nm,当波长正好和FBG波长相同时,反射信号最强。据此可以探知FBG传感器的波长漂移,并因而推算出传感量。
在一实施方式中,FBG传感器阵列212为在单个光纤上布设多个FBG传感器2122。多个间隔设置的FBG传感器2122可以根据应用场景的需求选择均匀地或者不均匀地分布在光纤210上。
FBG传感器2122测量的参数包括温度、应变、压力、水位、位移和电流中的至少一个。FBG传感器2122可以为温度传感器、压力传感器、应变传感器、振动传感器、液面传感器等。即FBG传感器2122可以同时测量上述多个参数。
FBG传感器2122的反射率小于0.1%以增强可时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感器的容量。同一光纤中复用多个FBG传感器2122,共享了诸如激光源和传感探测器的昂贵部件,将有利于降低每个传感器的分摊成本。其方法是将时分复用技术用于弱反射率(不超过0.1%)FBG传感器。多次验证,通过该方法可以在单根光纤中复用数百个FBG传感器。
在一实施方式中,光纤网络20包括光纤耦合器220,通过光纤耦合器220将光纤210耦合至DFB激光器10。
在上述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,通过使用窄带可调制分布反馈(DFB)激光器,首先DFB激光器对温度变化敏感,通过热电致冷器控制其内部温度,波长将相应变化;通过信号处理单元中的FPGA模块,解决了数据处理的用时通常较慢从而难以实现实时传感的问题,由于信号处理单元包括FPGA模块和CPU模块,响应时间大大降低;通过FBG传感器阵列的多参量感知能力,FBG的布拉格波长对多个环境参数(如应变,温度,压力等)十分敏感,因此可以将FBG运用于一系列不同的传感应用中。
以上实施例仅表达了本发明的几种实施方式,其描述较为具体和详细,但并不能因此而理解为对本发明专利范围的限制。应当指出的是,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,在不脱离本发明构思的前提下,还可以做出若干变形和改进,这些都属于本发明的保护范围。因此,本发明专利的保护范围应以所附权利要求为准。
Claims (10)
1.一种时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,其特征在于,包括:
DFB激光器,用于产生波长可调的光脉冲;
光纤网络,包括耦合至所述DFB激光器的光纤,所述光纤上布置有光纤布拉格光栅传感器阵列,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器阵列包括多个间隔设置的光纤布拉格光栅传感器,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器的布拉格波长均在DFB激光器波长的+/-1nm范围内,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器的反射率均不超过1%;
光电探测器,用于接收来自所述光纤布拉格传感器阵列的反射信号;及
信号处理单元,用于控制所述DBF激光器产生波长可调的脉冲光,并分析所述光电探测器转换的光纤布拉格光栅光谱偏移并转换成测试参数,所述信号处理单元包括FPGA模块和CPU模块。
2.根据权利要求1所述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,其特征在于,所述DFB激光器产生的光脉冲的可调波长范围约为4nm。
3.根据权利要求2所述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,其特征在于,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器的反射带宽约为1nm,受传感量的影响偏移量为0-3nm。
4.根据权利要求1所述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,其特征在于,所述DFB激光器具有热电致冷器,用于改变所述DFB激光器的源区温度。
5.根据权利要求1所述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,其特征在于,在单个光纤上布设多个光纤布拉格光栅传感器,形成所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器阵列。
6.根据权利要求1所述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,其特征在于,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器测量的参数包括温度、应变、压力、水位、位移和电流中的至少一个。
7.根据权利要求1所述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,其特征在于,所述FBG传感器同时测量多个参数。
8.根据权利要求1所述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,其特征在于,所述光纤布拉格光栅传感器的反射率减小到0.1%以下以增强可时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感器的容量。
9.根据权利要求1所述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,其特征在于,所述光纤网络包括光纤耦合器,通过所述光纤耦合器将所述光纤耦合至所述DFB激光器。
10.根据权利要求1所述时分复用的光纤布拉格光栅传感系统,其特征在于,所述多个间隔设置的光纤布拉格光栅传感器均匀分布在所述光纤上。
