The impact of the air flow at the impeller outlet on the volute tongue is strong, the air flow near the volute tongue is complex, and the influence on the performance of the fan is large. Research shows that when the radius of the front end of the volute tongue is properly reduced, the gap between the volute tongue and the impeller is reduced, the air quantity and the static pressure are improved, and the noise is increased. When the radius of the front end of the volute tongue is properly increased, the gap between the volute tongue and the impeller is increased, the rotation noise and the vortex noise of the fan are reduced, and the air quantity and the static pressure are reduced.
Therefore, the centrifugal fan generally compromises the performance and noise to obtain a proper fixed value, but the fixed value is often effective for one working condition, and for other working condition points of the centrifugal fan, the performance of the centrifugal fan is greatly reduced due to the change of an impeller speed triangle and the influence of outlet environment on backflow. Therefore, a variable R volute tongue is designed, even if the radius R of the front end of the volute tongue gradually changes from the front cover to the rear cover of the volute, the fillet of the volute tongue is changed in a simple axial variable R mode, and meanwhile, the gap between the volute tongue and an impeller is changed to balance the performance of the fan, but the volute tongue still cannot be adaptively adjusted according to the actual working condition of the centrifugal fan, and needs to be further improved.

The second technical problem to be solved by the invention is to provide a centrifugal fan capable of adjusting the gap between the volute tongue and the impeller according to different working conditions of the centrifugal fan aiming at the current state of the art.

As shown in fig. 8, the motor 5 drives the variable R cylinder 1 to rotate anticlockwise, so that the gap between the volute tongue and the impeller 8 is reduced, the flow and static pressure are improved, and the smoke sucking and exhausting effect is improved; as shown in fig. 9, the motor 5 drives the R-changing cylinder 1 to rotate clockwise, so that the gap between the volute tongue and the impeller 8 is increased, and the aerodynamic noise is reduced.
When the range hood works, according to different actual working conditions, the motor 5 can be controlled by a controller (not shown in the figure) to rotate positively and negatively, so that the clearance between the volute tongue and the impeller 8 is adjusted, and the variable R volute tongue can meet various actual working conditions.
Embodiment two:
