Abstract

The invention provides a preparation method of an artificial core and the artificial core prepared by the same, and the method comprises the following steps: performing component analysis and particle size analysis on a real core to be simulated to obtain components, component contents and component particle size distribution information of the real core; uniformly mixing the artificial rock core sample preparation material and the mineralization water according to the information, and pouring the mixture into a rock core mould; the type and the mineralization degree of the mineralization water are the same as those of formation water in the region where the real rock core is located; adding calcium hydroxide into the core mould, uniformly stirring, and then introducing soda water at a constant speed; after the calcium carbonate generation reaction is finished, pressing the core mould to completely compact and solidify the materials in the mould; and after the materials in the rock core mould are completely compacted and consolidated, pouring hydrochloric acid into the mould so as to enable the calcareous cemented carbonate minerals in the artificial rock core to fully react with the hydrochloric acid, and obtaining the artificial rock core after the reaction is finished.

Technical Field
The invention relates to a preparation method of an artificial core and the artificial core prepared by the same, belonging to the technical field of petroleum and geological exploitation.
Background
The artificial core has been developed into an important object for core analysis in the technical fields of petroleum and geology, and has the following advantages: (1) sample preparation can be carried out according to the actual core requirement; (2) the core analysis of ultra-deep layer, sea, plateau and other areas without core sampling must be replaced by artificial core. The conventional artificial core is prepared by adding a certain amount of water into glass beads or quartz sand according to a certain proportion, mixing, and compacting the mixture in a triaxial pressurizing device under a certain temperature and pressure condition, wherein the artificial core prepared by the method has certain defects: the process of forming rock of a real rock core cannot be simulated, the process of forming rock of the real rock is very complex and mainly comprises compaction action, cementation action, erosion action and the like, and the artificial rock core prepared by the method can only simulate the compaction action to form rock.
Therefore, providing a novel method for preparing an artificial core has become a technical problem to be solved in the field.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to solve the above disadvantages and shortcomings, the present invention is directed to a method for preparing an artificial core.
The invention also aims to provide the artificial core prepared by the preparation method of the artificial core.
In order to achieve the aim, the invention provides a preparation method of an artificial core, which comprises the following steps:
(1) performing component analysis and particle size analysis on the real core to be simulated to obtain components, component contents and component particle size distribution information of the real core;
(2) uniformly mixing the artificial rock core sample preparation material and mineralization water according to the information obtained in the step (1), and pouring the mixture into a rock core mould;
the type and the mineralization degree of the mineralization water are the same as those of formation water in the region where the real rock core is located;
(3) adding calcium hydroxide into the core mould, uniformly stirring, and then introducing soda water at a constant speed;
(4) after the calcium carbonate generation reaction is finished, pressing the core mould to completely compact and solidify the materials in the mould;
(5) and after the materials in the core mould are completely compacted and consolidated, pouring hydrochloric acid into the mould so as to enable the calcareous cemented carbonate minerals in the artificial core to fully react with the hydrochloric acid, and obtaining the artificial core after the reaction is finished.
According to a specific embodiment of the present invention, in the preparation method, preferably, the true core is a true crumb core.
According to a specific embodiment of the present invention, in the preparation method, preferably, the true core is a true calcareous cementitious core.
According to the specific embodiment of the invention, determining the type of formation water in the region where the real core is located and the mineralization degree of the formation water are conventional technical means in the field. And if the formation water of the area where the real core is located is determined to be calcium chloride type and the mineralization degree is 1000mg/L, the mineralization water used in the artificial core preparation process is a calcium chloride aqueous solution, and the concentration of the mineralization water is 1000 mg/L.
According to the specific embodiment of the invention, in the step (2) of the artificial core preparation method, the artificial core sample preparation material is determined according to the components of the real core, the content of each component and the particle size distribution information of the components; as in the present embodiment, the real core components include quartz, clay minerals and cement (the main component is calcium carbonate), so the artificial core sample-making material includes quartz, clay minerals and calcium carbonate; determining the respective contents of the substances required for preparing the artificial rock core according to the respective contents of quartz, clay minerals and calcium carbonate in the real rock core; and determining the particle size distribution of the quartz required for preparing the artificial rock core according to the particle size distribution information of the quartz in the real rock core.
According to the specific embodiment of the invention, the application makes no specific requirements on the dosage or concentration of the calcium hydroxide and the soda water used in the step (3) and the hydrochloric acid used in the step (5) in the preparation method of the artificial rock core, and the dosage or concentration of the substances can be reasonably set by a person skilled in the art according to the operation requirement.
In addition, the application does not make specific requirements on the magnitude and the time of the pressing pressure in the step (4) of the artificial core preparation method, and a person skilled in the art can reasonably set the pressing pressure and the pressing time according to the operation requirement as long as the material in the mold can be completely compacted and consolidated.
According to a specific embodiment of the invention, the method for preparing the artificial core preferably further comprises repeating the steps (2) to (4) between the steps (4) to (5) so as to simulate the operation of the gradual deposition compaction cement forming process in the rock deposition process. The repetition times in the step are not specifically required, and the larger the repetition times, the thicker the prepared artificial core is, so that a person skilled in the art can reasonably set the repetition times according to the required thickness of the artificial core.
According to a specific embodiment of the invention, preferably, the preparation method of the artificial core further comprises an operation of performing distilled water leaching on the artificial core obtained in the step (5).
According to a specific embodiment of the present invention, preferably, the preparation method of the artificial core further includes an operation of drying the leached artificial core to be completely dry.
In the preparation method of the artificial core, the core mould is conventional equipment used in the field; the pressing process may be carried out using pressing equipment which is conventional in the art.
In the method for preparing the artificial rock core, a certain amount of calcium hydroxide is added in the step (3) to react with soda water, so that the calcareous cementation effect in the process of forming rock of a real rock core can be simulated; step (4), pressing is carried out on the core mould, so that the material in the mould is completely compacted and consolidated, and the compaction effect of a real core in the process of forming rock can be simulated; the hydrochloric acid with a certain concentration is added in the step (5) to react with the calcium cemented carbonate mineral formed by the cementing action, so that the corrosion action can be simulated.
The invention also provides the artificial core prepared by the preparation method of the artificial core.
In conclusion, the artificial core preparation method provided by the invention can effectively reduce three diagenesis effects in the diagenesis process of the rock, namely the method can simulate the diagenesis process of a real core, so that the prepared artificial core sample is closer to the real core. In addition, the preparation method is quick and effective, does not need empirical operation, is simple to operate, is convenient and quick, and is easy to learn and popularize.

The main reference numbers illustrate:

Detailed Description
In order to clearly understand the technical features, objects and advantages of the present invention, the following detailed description of the technical solutions of the present invention will be made with reference to the following specific examples, which should not be construed as limiting the implementable scope of the present invention.
Example 1
The embodiment provides a preparation method of an artificial core, a process flow schematic diagram of the preparation method is shown in fig. 1, and as can be seen from fig. 1, the preparation method comprises the following steps:
step (1): selecting a rock core sample in a certain area to simulate and manufacture an artificial rock core sample, and determining that the formation water in the area is calcium chloride type formation water, and the mineralization degree of the formation water is 1000 mg/L. The formation depth was 2800m and the overburden pressure was approximately 56 MPa.
Performing component analysis and particle size analysis on the core sample, and determining that the core sample is quartz sandstone, wherein the quartz content is 90% by weight, the clay mineral content is 6% by weight, and the cement is mainly calcium carbonate with the content of 4%; the quartz mineral particles have a particle size distribution of 0.01-0.05mm to 10 wt%, 0.05-0.1mm to 50 wt%, and 0.1-0.2mm to 40 wt%.
Step (2): weighing 90g of quartz sand with the granularity of 0.01-0.05mm, 450g of quartz sand with the granularity of 0.05-0.1mm, 360g of quartz sand with the granularity of 0.1-0.2mm and 60g of clay mineral, wherein the total mass of the materials is 960g, uniformly blending the prepared materials with 250mL of calcium chloride solution with the concentration of 1000mg/L, and pouring the mixture into a core mould to obtain a quartz sand, clay mineral and calcium chloride solution mixture system 1;
and (3): standing for 2-4h, adding 40g of calcium hydroxide into the mold, uniformly stirring, and then adding 200mL of soda water (containing 40g of sodium bicarbonate) at a constant speed;
and (4): standing for 2 hours after the calcium carbonate generation reaction is finished, and marking the obtained system as a system 2; putting the die under a pressurizing device for pressurizing, wherein the pressurizing pressure is 80MPa, the time is 12 hours, and when the material is completely compacted, cemented and solidified, the obtained system is marked as a system 3;
and (5): repeating the steps (2) to (4) until the artificial rock core in the mold is compacted layer by layer and cemented into a rock, and marking the obtained system as a system 5, wherein the obtained system is marked as a system 4 before the pressure is not applied in the step (5);
and (6): pouring sufficient 10% dilute hydrochloric acid into a mold until the calcareous cemented carbonate mineral in the artificial rock core fully reacts with the hydrochloric acid;
and (7): taking the artificial core primary product out of the die after the reaction is finished, and fully leaching for 2-4h by using distilled water;
and (8): and (4) placing the core obtained after leaching in the step (7) in a drying box, drying for 24h at 80 ℃ until complete drying is achieved, and completing sample preparation to obtain the artificial core 6.
The artificial rock core prepared in this example was subjected to X-ray diffraction mineral analysis and particle size analysis, and the analysis results showed that: in the artificial core, the weight content of the main mineral particle quartz is 89%, the weight content of the matrix clay mineral is 6%, and the weight content of the cement calcium carbonate mineral is 5%; the particle size distribution of the quartz mineral particles is 0.01-0.05mm to 11 wt%, 0.05-0.1mm to 52 wt%, and 0.1-0.2mm to 37 wt%; the comparative graphs of the component content and the quartz mineral particle size distribution of the artificial core prepared in the embodiment and the actual real core are respectively shown in fig. 2-3, and it can be seen from fig. 2-3 that the artificial core sample prepared by the method is closer to the real core.

Claims (6)

1. A preparation method of an artificial core comprises the following steps:
(1) performing component analysis and particle size analysis on the real core to be simulated to obtain components, component contents and component particle size distribution information of the real core; wherein the real core is a real crumb core;
(2) uniformly mixing the artificial rock core sample preparation material and mineralization water according to the information obtained in the step (1), and pouring the mixture into a rock core mould;
the type and the mineralization degree of the mineralization water are the same as those of formation water in the region where the real rock core is located;
(3) adding calcium hydroxide into the core mould, uniformly stirring, and then introducing soda water at a constant speed;
(4) after the calcium carbonate generation reaction is finished, pressing the core mould to completely compact and solidify the materials in the mould;
(5) and after the materials in the core mould are completely compacted and consolidated, pouring hydrochloric acid into the mould so as to enable the calcareous cemented carbonate minerals in the artificial core to fully react with the hydrochloric acid, and obtaining the artificial core after the reaction is finished.
2. The method of making according to claim 1, wherein the true core is a true calcareous cementitious core.
3. A method according to claim 1 or claim 2, further comprising repeating steps (2) to (4) between steps (4) to (5) to simulate operation of the progressive sedimentary compacted cement formation process during rock deposition.
4. The preparation method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the method further comprises the step of performing distilled water leaching on the artificial core obtained in the step (5).
5. The method as claimed in claim 4, wherein the method further comprises drying the leached artificial core to complete dryness.
6. The artificial core prepared by the method for preparing an artificial core according to any one of claims 1 to 5.
