First embodiment
The display method provided by the embodiment is applied to electronic equipment with a display screen, wherein the electronic equipment is provided with an operating system, a system desktop is displayed on the display screen, and at least one virtual screen window is displayed on the system desktop. Hereinafter, for simplicity, the following software and hardware environments are described as examples: the electronic equipment is a desktop computer connected with a display screen, a Windows operating system and at least one application program with an application window are installed on the computer, the computer is also connected with a mouse, and a user interacts with a host computer through the mouse. It is to be understood that the above-described hardware and software environments are only examples provided to facilitate understanding, and do not limit the scope of the present invention. Specifically, the electronic device in the display method provided by the embodiment of the invention may also be a notebook computer, a tablet computer, a smart phone, a vehicle-mounted device, a wearable device, and the like, and the operating system installed on the electronic device is not limited to the Windows operating system, and the external device connected to the electronic device is not limited to a mouse.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a display method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 2, the method includes:
step S1: the detection obtains an operation.
The operation is a user operation, and is sent by a user through a mouse, for example, a moving operation of the mouse, a clicking operation of left and right buttons of the mouse, a rolling operation and a pressing operation of a mouse wheel, and the like. The user operation corresponds to a specific location, which is indicated by the positioning identity of the electronic device. For example, a user's mouse moves an operation, the location of which occurs is shown by the mouse arrow on the display screen. When the mouse moves, a mouse moving message is generated in an operating system, the mouse moving operation is detected, the mouse message can be captured, the type of the mouse message is judged, if the mouse moving message is the mouse moving message, the mouse moving operation is detected successfully, and relevant information of the mouse moving operation, such as position information of a positioning mark corresponding to the mouse moving operation, namely coordinates of the positioning mark in a display screen, can be obtained according to the message content. Step S2: and judging whether the positioning identifier of the electronic equipment corresponding to the operation is positioned outside the display screen.
And determining whether the position where the user operation occurs is outside the display screen according to the position information of the positioning identifier obtained in the step S1, and obtaining a judgment result. The plane of the display screen can be regarded as an infinitely extending display plane, but only the area of the display screen is visible to the user. The user can make the positioning mark move freely in the display plane by controlling the mouse. The step S2, which is outside the display screen, means that the display screen is in the display plane and is in the area outside the display screen.
In an optional implementation manner of the embodiment of the present invention, each virtual screen window corresponds to a preset region outside the display screen, and the size of each preset region is the same as the size of the display region of the display screen. Fig. 3 is a diagram illustrating a preset region distribution of a display method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 3, in the display plane, the predetermined regions (dotted line boxes) are distributed closely around the display screen (solid line boxes) and may be extended wirelessly in all directions. The virtual screen window corresponds to the preset area, which means that the user operation made in a specific preset area is equivalent to the same user operation made in the virtual screen window corresponding to the specific preset area, and the execution result of the operation is displayed in the virtual screen window. The corresponding relationship between the virtual screen window and the preset area can be configured arbitrarily by the user, for example, in the embodiment shown in fig. 3, three virtual screen windows 1, 2, and 3 (shaded boxes in the display screen) are displayed on the display screen, and respectively correspond to the preset area 1 outside the left edge of the display screen (shaded dotted box on the left side of the display screen), the preset area 2 outside the upper edge of the display screen (shaded dotted box on the top of the display screen), and the preset area 3 outside the right edge of the display screen (shaded dotted box on the right side of the display screen).
Further, the number of the virtual screen windows is limited, and therefore the number of the preset areas corresponding to the virtual screen windows is limited, and the virtual screen windows cannot cover the whole display plane, so that if the operation position occurs outside the display screen and is not within the area covered by the preset areas, the display method provided by the embodiment of the invention cannot respond to the operation. The step of determining whether the located identifier is outside the display screen in step S2 may further include: determining the current area of the positioning identifier outside the display screen according to the position information of the positioning identifier; and judging whether the current area is a preset area corresponding to the virtual screen window. For example, in the embodiment shown in fig. 3, if the positioning indicator is located in the lower region outside the display screen, the display method provided by the embodiment of the present invention cannot respond to the corresponding user operation.
Step S3: if so, an execution result is obtained in response to the operation.
As for the judgment result in the step S2, if the location of the positioning identifier is within the display screen and not within the virtual screen window, the method belongs to the category in the prior art and will not be described here. And if the position of the positioning identifier is outside the display screen, responding to the user operation and obtaining the execution result of the operation.
Fig. 4 shows a flowchart of step S3 of the display method provided by the embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 4, step S3 may include:
step S31: and displaying the positioning identification in the virtual screen window.
Step S31 implements a mapping of the location identity from outside the display screen to within the virtual screen. Fig. 5 is a schematic diagram illustrating a position mapping of the positioning identifier in step S31 of the display method according to the embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 5, N (N is equal to or greater than 1) virtual screen windows are displayed on the display screen: virtual screen window 1 to virtual screen window N correspond respectively to N preset areas that are distributed continuously outside the right edge of the display screen: a preset region 1 to a preset region N. It is assumed that the positioning flag is located in the preset area N before the step S31 is performed. At this time, the user moves the mouse, and in the display method provided in the embodiment of the present invention, first, the mouse movement message is captured, and the coordinates (x, y) of the positioning identifier, that is, the first position, are obtained through the message parameter, where the coordinates x, y are coordinates relative to the origin of the display screen. And secondly, completing the position mapping of the positioning identifier from the preset area to the virtual screen window. The specific steps may be that the serial number N = x/1920 of the preset region where the positioning identifier is located is obtained to be an integer (assuming that the display screen is 1920 × 1080 respectively), and the virtual screen window N where the positioning identifier is mapped is also determined according to the corresponding relationship between the preset region and the virtual screen window. Then, coordinates x '= x%1920 of the positioning identifier relative to the origin of the preset area N are obtained to obtain a remainder, y' = y, and according to the corresponding relation between the preset area and the virtual screen window, positions (x ', y') of the virtual screen window N where the positioning identifier is mapped are also determined at the same time, wherein the coordinates x 'and y' are coordinates relative to the origin of the virtual screen window N. And finally, further converting according to the display size and the display position of the virtual screen window N on the display screen to obtain the final coordinates (x '', y '') after mapping the positioning identifier, namely the second position, wherein the coordinates x '', y '' are coordinates relative to the origin of the display screen. Replacing the coordinates (x, y) in the original mouse movement message with (x '', y ''), and continuing to deliver the mouse movement message to the operating system for processing, and the operating system displays the positioning identifier to the second position according to the coordinates contained in the message. It should be noted that the above explanation assumes that the positioning identifier is located in the preset area N before the step S31 is executed. Considering the situation that the positioning identifier moves from the right edge of the display screen to the preset area N along the preset area 1, in fact, when the user just moves the positioning identifier out of the right edge of the display screen, the positioning identifier is already displayed in the virtual screen window 1, and in the process that the positioning identifier moves from the preset area 1 to the preset area N, the positioning identifier is always displayed in each virtual screen window of the display screen. Therefore, in practice, the positioning mark is not displayed outside the display screen and only corresponds to a coordinate outside the display screen, namely, the first position.
Step S32: and responding to the operation to obtain an execution result after the positioning identifier is displayed in the virtual screen window.
Since the positioning identifier has been repositioned and displayed within the virtual screen window, the user's operation at a first location outside the display screen is now equivalent to the operation at a second location within the virtual screen window. User operations can be generally divided into operations related to application windows, such as closing an application window, dragging an application window, clicking a button on the application window, and the like; and operations that do not involve application windows, such as mouse movement on the system desktop, mouse clicks on the system desktop, and the like.
For operations that do not involve the application window, such as mouse movement operations, after capturing a mouse movement message and completing coordinate conversion, the message is processed by the operating system, the operating system responds to the operations, and obtains the execution result of the operations, i.e., the movement of the positioning identifier, and since the positioning identifier is already displayed in the virtual screen window at this time, the movement of the positioning identifier, i.e., the content corresponding to the execution result of the operations, can be displayed in step S4.
For the operation related to the application window, fig. 6 shows a flowchart of step S32 of the display method provided by the embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 6, step S32 may include:
step S320: and obtaining a first application window of the first application program corresponding to the second position.
Before step S320 is performed, an application window of an application program may be displayed into a virtual screen window. The first method is a method configured by a user, for example, an application display list is provided on a display screen, and the user can configure in the list which virtual screen window the application window of each application program is to be displayed in, and display the application window to a preset position of the virtual screen window according to the configuration of the user. The second mode is that when a user executes an application program, an application window is displayed on a system desktop of a display screen, and then the user drags the application window into a virtual screen window from a dragging mode through a mouse. As an optional implementation manner of the second manner, an implementation manner that a user drags an application window from an original display screen to an external display screen for display when the external display screen is simulated. The method specifically comprises the step of displaying an application window into the virtual screen window when the application window is detected to be outside the display screen. The window is located outside the display screen, may be entirely located outside the display screen, or may be a first part of the window in the entire window located outside the display screen. The method includes the steps that mouse movement information can be captured in the mouse movement process, a positioning identification position is obtained, the position of an application window in dragging is obtained according to the positioning identification position, when part or all of the application window exceeds the display screen, the exceeding part is redrawn into the corresponding virtual screen window, for the application window, after the exceeding part exceeds the display screen, intersection possibly exists between the exceeding part and a plurality of preset areas, and at the moment, the virtual screen windows need to be redrawn. After the application window is displayed in the virtual screen window, the application window position of the application window in the virtual screen window is recorded, each application window displayed in the virtual screen window is recorded, and the recorded content further includes the corresponding relation between the application window position and the application window, so that the application window position and the application window can be conveniently obtained in step S320. The application windows are configured or dragged to different virtual screen windows for display, the external display screen can be replaced to display contents, a user can conveniently operate and manage the multiple application windows which are displayed simultaneously, and the method is suitable for complex working environments in which the multiple application windows need to be opened simultaneously.
In step S320, the first application window refers to the application window corresponding to the positioning identifier at the second position, and does not represent a specific application program, and the first application window refers to the application program that generates and manages the first application window. For example, a document window is displayed in the virtual screen window, the positioning mark is located at a close button at the upper right corner of the document window, if the user clicks a mouse at the moment, the document window should be closed, the document window is the first application window at the moment, and a program to which the document window belongs, for example, a notepad program, is the first application program. As an embodiment, step S320 first obtains at least one application window position recorded in the previous step, and then determines the application window position containing the second position where the positioning identifier is located, and uses the application window position as the first application window position. According to the recorded content in the previous step, the first application window can be found through the position of the first application window, and in a Windows system, the found first application window can be represented by a window handle.
Step S321: and controlling the first application program to respond to the operation through the first application window to obtain an execution result of the first application program.
In an implementation manner of step S321, after the first application window is obtained, a window message corresponding to the user operation is sent to the first application window, and after receiving the window message, the first application program can respond to the user operation to obtain an execution result of the first application program. For example, a document window is displayed in the virtual screen window, the positioning mark is positioned at a closing button at the upper right corner of the document window, if the user clicks the mouse at the moment, the click message of the mouse is sent to the document window after the document window (namely, the first application window) is obtained, and therefore the notepad program (the first application program) corresponding to the document window can respond to the click operation of the mouse and close the document window. Of course, the send window message is mainly implemented in the Windows system, and different implementations may be used in other operating systems.
Step S4: and displaying the content corresponding to the execution result on the virtual screen window.
After the operation is executed, the content of the virtual screen window can be refreshed according to the execution result of the operation. For example, after the application window of the virtual screen window is closed, the application program may generate a window closing message, capture the message, and redraw the virtual screen window to display the content corresponding to the operation execution result, that is, the application window no longer exists, and the content blocked by the application window is displayed.
In step S2, particularly, if the positioning mark is located in the virtual screen window of the display screen, for example, the user directly moves the mouse to locate the positioning mark in the virtual screen window, instead of moving the mouse out of the display screen to display the positioning mark in the virtual screen window, the effect achieved by the positioning mark is the same as that achieved when the user moves the mouse out of the display screen, and in this way, it is very convenient for the user to manage the application window in the virtual screen window.
In summary, the display method provided in the embodiment of the present invention synchronizes the operation performed by the user outside the display screen to the virtual screen window, and displays the operation result in the virtual screen window. Meanwhile, the application window on the system desktop can be dragged into the virtual screen window, and the application window is operated in the virtual screen window. Therefore, the virtual screen window replaces an external display screen, the cost of using the electronic equipment by a user can be saved, meanwhile, the operation and management of a plurality of application windows which are displayed simultaneously are conveniently realized in a single display screen, and the virtual screen window is suitable for being used in the environment that the electronic equipment cannot or is inconvenient to be externally connected with the display screen.
