Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a system for controlling a remote electronic device, in particular to a method and a system for controlling a remote electronic device, which are used for sending an input signal of an electronic device to the remote electronic device through a photographic device connected with a remote hardware device. The method for controlling the remote electronic device comprises the following steps: shooting a display unit of a remote electronic device by a shooting device to obtain an image; the photographic device sends the image to an electronic device; the electronic device sends an input signal to the photographic device; and the camera device sends the input signal to the remote electronic device, and the remote electronic device executes according to the input signal.

Method and system for controlling remote electronic device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a method and system for controlling a remote electronic device, and more particularly, to a method and system for controlling a remote electronic device by sending an input signal to the remote electronic device through a camera.
Background
In the current society with well-developed information industry, most information industry companies have technical or service communication with other companies both in China and abroad, and such companies often run into situations where employees need to be dispatched to on-site and personal operation of the computers of partners, however, a lot of transportation time is often spent, if the companies of the partners are located abroad, the cost of tickets and lodging is more huge, and therefore, some information industry companies choose to let employees use computers to connect to the computers of the partners through internet connection, and besides, many information industry practitioners choose to work at home or in places such as coffee shops by using personal computers and then connecting to the computers of the companies through internet connection, and at the present that smart phones and personal digital assistants also have considerable processing capabilities, others operate through smart phones or personal digital assistants to remote computers, such a technology for operating a remote electronic device through a network using an electronic device such as a personal computer, a smart phone, or a personal digital assistant is called a remote control technology.
The remote control technology allows a user to control another electronic device located remotely through a network by using the electronic device, after the user uses input equipment such as a mouse, a keyboard, a writing board, a drawing board, a track ball or a touch screen connected with the electronic device to generate an input signal, the electronic device sends the input signal to the remote electronic device through the network, the remote electronic device executes the input signal according to the received input signal, and meanwhile, the remote electronic device sends a picture displayed by a display unit of the current remote electronic device to the electronic device of the user through the network, so that the user can directly operate the remote electronic device and know the operation condition in real time.

In order to prevent such situations, most companies limit remote operations through network hardware devices or/and firewalls, if remote operations are required, the companies need to apply for the applications from the company information security department first and then use the electronic devices of the operation companies after signing and checking layer by layer, such application process often takes a lot of time and cannot be approved, in the technology industry of information fast flow, each time a minute and a second is delayed, considerable losses may be caused to the companies, and if emergency situations such as sudden server down occur are encountered, the problem that the real-time processing cannot be carried out is more likely to cause difficult-to-compensate consequences.

The present invention provides a method and system for controlling a remote electronic device, wherein a display unit of the remote electronic device is photographed by a photographing device to obtain an image, the photographing device sends the image to the electronic device, the electronic device sends an input signal to the photographing device, and the photographing device sends the input signal to the remote electronic device to achieve the remote control effect.
To achieve the above-mentioned objectives and effects, an embodiment of the present invention discloses a method for operating a remote electronic device, comprising: the display unit of the remote electronic device is shot by the shooting device to obtain an image, the shooting device sends the image to the electronic device, the electronic device sends an input signal to the shooting device, the shooting device sends the input signal to the remote electronic device, and the remote electronic device executes according to the input signal.
In an embodiment of the invention, the photographing device is connected to the remote electronic device through a hardware interface, and the input signal is transmitted to the remote electronic device through the hardware interface.
In an embodiment of the invention, the hardware interface is a Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface, an IEEE 1394 interface, a PS/2 interface, an infrared transmission interface, or a bluetooth transmission interface.
In an embodiment of the invention, the electronic device sends the input signal according to an input of an input device connected to the electronic device.

In an embodiment of the invention, the first hardware interface and the second hardware interface are a universal serial bus interface (USB), an IEEE 1394 interface, a PS/2 interface, an infrared transmission interface, or a bluetooth transmission interface.
In an embodiment of the invention, the electronic apparatus includes an input device, and the electronic apparatus sends the input signal according to an input of the input device.

Please refer to fig. 1, which is a flowchart illustrating a method for operating a remote electronic device according to a first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the figure, the method for operating a remote electronic device of the present embodiment includes the steps of:
step S1: the camera device shoots the display unit to obtain an image;
step S3: sending the image to the electronic device;
step S5: sending an input signal to the photographing device; and
step S7: sending the input signal to the remote electronic device.
Next, a system required for implementing the method for operating a remote electronic device of the present invention is described, please refer to fig. 2, which is a schematic diagram of the system for operating a remote electronic device according to the first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the drawings, the system for operating a remote electronic device of the present invention comprises: a remote electronic device 10, a camera device 30 and an electronic device 50. The remote electronic device 10 includes a first hardware interface 11 and a display unit 13. The photographing apparatus 3 includes a second hardware interface 31, a first network module 33, and a photographing unit 35. The electronic device 5 includes an input device 51 and a second network module 53. The remote electronic devices 1 and 5 may be smart phones, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), tablet computers, notebook computers, desktop computers, and other electronic devices.
Next, the first hardware interface 11 and the second hardware interface 31 will be described, the first hardware interface 11 and the second hardware interface 31 are media for transmitting/receiving signals between hardware, and the first hardware interface 11 and the second hardware interface 31 are Universal Serial Bus (USB), IEEE 1394, PS/2, infrared or bluetooth interfaces.
In the present embodiment, the remote electronic device 1 and the camera device 3 are connected to each other through the first hardware interface 11 and the second hardware interface 31.
Next, describing the display unit 13, the display unit 13 is electrically connected to the remote electronic device 1, the display unit 13 is used for displaying the current operation picture of the remote electronic device 1, and the display unit 13 may be a liquid crystal display, a plasma display, a cathode ray tube display, a light emitting diode array, a touch screen or other displays capable of displaying information for a user to refer to.
Next, the first network module 33 and the second network module 53 are described, wherein the first network module 33 can connect the camera device 3 with the network in a wired or wireless manner, and the second network module 53 can connect the electronic device 5 with the network in a wired or wireless manner.
Next, the photographing unit 35 is described, and the photographing unit 35 is a CCD (Charge-coupled Device), a CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) Active pixel sensor (CMOS Active pixel sensor) tube (video camera tube) or other devices capable of converting an optical image into an electronic signal, and the photographing unit 35 is used to obtain an image.
The following describes a flow of the first embodiment of the present invention in a method for operating a remote electronic device, please refer to fig. 1 and fig. 2. When the remote electronic apparatus 1 is to be manipulated, steps S1 to S7 will be performed.
In step S1, the photographing device photographs the display unit to acquire an image, and the photographing device 3 photographs the display unit 13 of the remote electronic apparatus 1 with the photographing unit 35 to acquire an image. In other words, the photographing unit 35 photographs the currently displayed screen of the display unit 13.
In step S3, the image is sent to the electronic device, the image is sent by the camera device 3 through the network by the first network module 33, and the image sent by the camera device 3 is received by the electronic device by the second network module 53.
In step S5, the input signal is sent to the photographing apparatus, and the input device 51 of the electronic apparatus 5 sends an input signal to the photographing apparatus. For example, when the input device 51 is a mouse, the input signal may be a moving cursor, a left click of the mouse, a right click of the mouse, or a scrolling of the screen; when the input device 51 is a keyboard, the input signal may be any key on the keyboard pressed or other input signal that can be input from the keyboard.
In step S7, the camera device 3 sends an input signal to the remote electronic device through the second hardware interface 31, and the remote electronic device 1 executes the process according to the input signal after receiving the input signal. In other words, when a user moves the mouse on the electronic device 1 to generate an input signal for moving the cursor, the remote electronic device 1 will move the cursor according to the input signal after receiving the input signal.
In this way, the method for operating and controlling a remote electronic device according to the first embodiment of the present invention is completed, since the input signal of the electronic device is transmitted to the remote electronic device through the photographing device, the electronic device indirectly operates the remote electronic device through the photographing device, and the electronic device does not need to obtain the authority of the administrator of the remote electronic device during the indirect operation, so that the photographing device can be directly connected with the remote electronic device through the hardware interface on the remote electronic device with limited user authority, and the method for operating and controlling a remote electronic device according to the present invention can be used for operation and control.
In addition, when the remote operation of the remote electronic device is limited by the network hardware equipment or/and the firewall, the first network module of the photographing device can be connected to another network (for example, a mobile network shared by a mobile base station of a smart phone) to enable the electronic device to be connected with the photographing device for remote operation, and the network hardware equipment or/and the firewall can be opened for remote operation without applying to a company information security department and signing a check in an emergency, so that the system problem of the remote electronic device can be processed more quickly.
Furthermore, when the remote electronic device is a device that cannot be connected to a network (e.g., a device that stores confidential data) or the problem that needs to be handled is a network problem of the remote electronic device, the method for operating the remote electronic device according to the present invention can also be used for operation.
Referring to fig. 3, which is a schematic view of a system for controlling a remote electronic device according to a second embodiment of the present invention, the difference between the system of the present embodiment and the first embodiment is that the electronic device 5 further includes a display unit 55, and the rest is the same as the first embodiment, which is not described herein again.
The display unit 55 is electrically connected to the electronic device 5, the display unit 55 is used for displaying a current operation screen of the electronic device 5, and the display unit 55 may be a liquid crystal display, a plasma display, a cathode ray tube display, a light emitting diode array, a touch screen or other displays capable of displaying information for a user to refer to.
In this embodiment, in step S3, when the electronic device 5 receives the image sent by the photographing device, the electronic device 5 displays the received image on the display unit 55, so that the user of the electronic device 5 can know the current operation status of the remote electronic device 1.
The following illustrates a second embodiment of the method for operating a remote electronic device in practical use, please refer to fig. 1 and fig. 3. When a user wants to operate a server (corresponding to the remote electronic device 1) remotely located and connected with a network camera (corresponding to the camera device 3) through a personal computer (corresponding to the electronic device 5), the network camera first captures a current displayed screen of the server (corresponding to the display unit 13) to obtain an image (corresponding to step S1). When the second network module (corresponding to the second network module 53) of the personal computer receives the image sent by the network camera from the network, the received image is displayed on the screen (corresponding to the display unit 55) of the personal computer so that the user can know the current operation screen of the server (corresponding to step S3).
Continuing the above, the user presses the key a on the keyboard (equivalent to the input device 53) of the personal computer, the keyboard generates an input signal and sends the input signal to the personal computer, the personal computer sends the input signal to the network camera through the second network module via the network (equivalent to step S5), the network camera sends an input signal to the USB port (equivalent to the first hardware interface 11) of the server via the USB port (equivalent to the second hardware interface 31) after receiving the input signal, the server inputs a according to the input signal, and displays a on the screen of the server (equivalent to step S7). the camera device sends the input signal to the remote electronic device, and the remote electronic device executes the input signal.

3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the hardware interface is a universal serial bus interface, an IEEE 1394 interface, a PS/2 interface, an infrared transmission interface, or a bluetooth transmission interface.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein the electronic device transmits the input signal according to an input of an input device connected to the electronic device.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein the input device is a mouse, a keyboard, a tablet, a drawing pad, a trackball, or a touch screen.
6. A system for operating a remote electronic device, comprising:
the remote electronic device comprises a display unit and a first hardware interface;
the photographic device comprises a first network module, a second hardware interface and a photographic unit, wherein the second hardware interface is connected with the first hardware interface, and the photographic unit photographs the display unit to obtain an image and sends the image through the first network module; and
an electronic device, including a second network module, the electronic device transmits an input signal to the photographic device through the second network module;
