In the description of the present invention, it should be understood that the terms "first," "second," and the like are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance. Furthermore, in the description of the present invention, unless otherwise indicated, the meaning of "a plurality" is two or more.
The application provides a connector assembly for connection between communication cables of an electrical appliance, such as connection of cables between a motor and a load main board.
As shown in fig. 1 and 3, the connector assembly in the present application includes a first connector 1 and a second connector 2 that are plugged into each other, and the first cable connected to the first connector 1 and the second cable connected to the second connector 2 are connected to each other by plugging the first connector 1 and the second connector 2 into each other. An insertion hole 10 is formed in the first connector 1, a pin 20 is formed in the second connector 2, and when the first connector 1 and the second connector 2 are plugged together, the pin 20 is inserted into the insertion hole 10, so that the cables of the first connector 1 and the second connector 2 are mutually communicated.
As shown in fig. 1-3, the first connector 1 includes a connector body 11, a locking portion 12 is provided on the connector body 11, a locking portion 121 (see fig. 2) is provided on the locking portion 12, a first end 1221 of the locking portion 12 is connected to the connector body 11, and a second end 1222 opposite to the first end 1221 is a free end. The lock portion 12 has a first state in which the locking portion 121 is located at a locking position at which the locking portion 121 can be engaged with an engaging portion 21 (described in detail later) on the second connector 2 so that the first connector 1 and the second connector 2 are not disengaged from each other; in the second state, the locking portion 121 can be separated from the locking position. The first connector 1 further comprises an unlocking structure 13, the unlocking structure 13 being capable of driving the locking portion 12 to switch from the first state to the second state.
As shown in fig. 2, the second connector 2 is provided with a fitting portion 21 to be fitted with the locking portion 121, and the first connector 1 and the second connector 2 are fixed to each other by fitting the locking portion 121 and the fitting portion 21. In this application, since the first end 1221 of the locking portion 12 is connected to the connector body 11, pressing the first end 1221 due to accidental touching or other reasons will not occur to tilt the second end 1222, so that the locking portion 12 is switched from the first state to the second state, and the locking portion 121 is separated from the locking position where the mating portion 21 is engaged, so that the situation that the second connector 2 and the first connector 1 are separated by mistake can be avoided; meanwhile, due to the unlocking structure 13, the first connector 1 and the second connector 2 in the clamping state can be easily released from clamping, and the smooth disassembly of all parts of the electrical appliance is realized.
Preferably, the locking portion 12 is plate-shaped, and the first surface 122 of the locking portion 12 is disposed opposite the connector body 11, preferably in parallel with the outer surface 111 of the connector body 11 opposite the first surface 122. The first surface 122 has a gap 112 between it and the connector body 11. The locking portion 12 of the plate structure can generate relatively large deformation, and when the first connector 1 and the second connector 2 are mutually inserted, the locking portion 12 can be relatively easy to generate elastic deformation, so that the first connector 1 and the second connector 2 can be conveniently inserted. In the assembled state, the engaging portion 21 of the second connector 2 is positioned in the gap 112 so as to be engaged with the locking portion 121.
In a preferred embodiment, the detent 121 is a raised structure 1211 disposed on the first surface 122. The end of the projection 1211 adjacent to the first end 1221 of the latch 12 is formed as a plane that is perpendicular to the first surface 122. The locking portion 121 with such a structure is simple in structure, easy to manufacture and capable of achieving a good locking effect, and particularly, the end portion of the protruding structure 1211, which is relatively close to the first end 1221 of the locking portion 12, is formed as a plane perpendicular to the first surface 122, and accordingly, the portion 211 of the mating portion 21, which is opposite to the plane, is also formed as a plane perpendicular to the first surface 122, so that the two planes abut against each other when the first connector 1 and the second connector 2 are in the plugged state, and the most stable locking can be achieved.
Preferably, to facilitate mating between the first connector 1 and the second connector 2, the projection arrangement 1211 includes a ramp 1212, the ramp 1212 being inclined from a position away from the latch 12 to a position adjacent to the latch 12 in a direction from the first end to the second end of the latch 12. Thus, when the first connector 1 and the second connector 2 are plugged, the second connector 2 can push the inclined plane 1212 in the process of insertion, so that the second connector 2 can be conveniently inserted.
As shown in fig. 2, in a preferred embodiment, a connection portion 14 is provided on the first connector 1, the first end 1221 of the locking portion 12 is connected to the connector body 11 by the connection portion 14, and the connection portion 14 is disposed such that the gap 112 is formed between the first surface 122 and the connector body 11. By providing the connection portion 14, a certain distance is formed between the locking portion 12 and the connector main body 11, so that the gap 112 is conveniently provided. Preferably, the connection portion 14 is plate-shaped and is disposed at both sides of the locking portion 12 near the first end 1221. The plate-shaped connecting portions 14 can reduce the weight of the entire first connector 1, save materials, and simultaneously, since the connecting portions 14 are disposed on both sides of the locking portion 12, the portion of the first end 1221 of the locking portion between the connecting portions 14 on both sides is in a suspended state, so that the elasticity of the locking portion 12 can be increased, and the operation is more convenient when the second connector 2 and the first connector 1 are mutually inserted.
Preferably, the unlocking structure 13 is disposed on the connecting portion 14, the unlocking structure 13 includes an expansion portion 131, the expansion portion 131 can be inserted into the gap 112 and elastically deform the locking portion 12 away from the gap 112, so that the locking portion is converted from the first state to the second state, at this time, the locking portion 121 moves along with the locking portion 12 in a direction away from the connector body 11, so that the locking portion 121 is disengaged from the mating portion 21, and the engagement between the locking portion 121 and the mating portion 21 is released, so that the first connector 1 and the second connector 2 can be conveniently disassembled.
As shown in fig. 1, it is preferable that the expansion portion 131 includes a slope 1311, and the slope 1311 is such that, when the expansion portion 131 is inserted into the gap 112, the greater the amount of deformation of the elastic deformation of the lock portion 12 in a direction away from the gap 112 with an increase in the insertion distance, the lock portion 12 moves in a direction away from the connector body 11 with an insertion of the expansion portion 131. This makes it easier to insert the expansion part 131 into the gap 112, and also guides the insertion of the expansion part 131 into the gap 112. Preferably, the unlocking structure 13 further includes a connection arm 132, one end of the connection arm 132 is fixedly connected to the connection portion 14, the other end is connected to the expansion portion 131, and the expansion portion 131 is inserted into the gap 112 by elastic deformation of the connection arm 132. By providing the elastic connecting arm 132, the operation of the expanding portion 131 can be facilitated, so that the expanding portion 131 can be smoothly inserted into the gap 112 to release the locking of the locking portion 121.
Preferably, the unlocking structure 13 includes two connecting arms 132 and two expansion portions 131 symmetrically disposed at both sides of the connecting portion 14. This facilitates the operation of the unlocking structure 13, for example, the connecting arms 132 or the expansion portions 131 on both sides can be pinched with two fingers, and the expansion portions 131 are forced inward so as to be inserted into the gap 112 between the two expansion portions 131.
The connectors and connector assemblies herein may be used, for example, for connection of cables between a motor and a load board.
It is easy to understand by those skilled in the art that the above preferred embodiments can be freely combined and overlapped without conflict.
It will be understood that the above-described embodiments are merely illustrative and not restrictive, and that all obvious or equivalent modifications and substitutions to the details given above may be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the underlying principles of the invention, are intended to be included within the scope of the appended claims.
