Detailed Description
In the following description, for purposes of explanation and not limitation, specific details are set forth, such as particular system structures, techniques, etc. in order to provide a thorough understanding of the embodiments of the present application. It will be apparent, however, to one skilled in the art that the present application may be practiced in other embodiments that depart from these specific details. In other instances, detailed descriptions of well-known systems, devices, circuits, and methods are omitted so as not to obscure the description of the present application with unnecessary detail.
In order to explain the technical solution described in the present application, the following description will be given by way of specific examples.
Example one
The present embodiment provides an application recommendation method for recommending an application to an arbitrary target terminal having a display and download function, which can be executed by an arbitrary terminal device capable of executing the method when running a computer program. The target terminal and the terminal device may be the same device or different devices, and may be a mobile phone, a tablet Computer, a Personal digital assistant, an intelligent watch, a PC (Personal Computer) client, a multimedia advertising terminal, and an intelligent household appliance such as an intelligent digital television, an intelligent air conditioner, and an intelligent refrigerator. The terminal device can also be a server, and the server can be a cloud server.
As shown in fig. 1, the application recommendation method provided in this embodiment includes:
step S10: and acquiring the application which is not installed in the target terminal as the target application.
In a specific application, the recommendation of the application to the target terminal is generally performed so that the target terminal can download and install the recommended application, and therefore, the application already installed on the target terminal may not be recommended any more. The target application can be obtained in a database of the server, and since a large number of applications are usually stored in the database, and the number of applications installed on the target terminal is usually much smaller than the number of applications stored in the database, the target application can be obtained by detecting the applications installed on the target terminal and then obtaining other applications except the installed applications in the database as the target application. By acquiring the target application in this way, the acquisition difficulty of the target application can be greatly reduced and the acquisition speed can be improved.
In a specific application, the application may be any type of application, such as a game-like application, a multimedia (audio, video) player-like application, a navigation-like application, an instant messaging-like application, and the like.
Step S20: and recommending the target application to the target terminal in a classified manner, and displaying at least one paid application and at least one free application in each classified recommendation area.
In a specific application, applications in a database of a server are usually stored in a differentiated manner according to application types, if the applications are not stored in a differentiated manner, the applications need to be classified according to attribute information of each application, and the attribute information usually includes information such as a package name, an internal version identifier, a tag, a company identifier, a product name, and a construction number of the application. The type of the application is known from the package name or product name of the application.
In one embodiment, step S20 includes:
acquiring attribute information of the target application;
and classifying the target application according to the attribute information.
In a specific application, different types of applications can be recommended by displaying a plurality of classification recommendation areas on an application download interface of a target terminal. Of course, it is also possible to display a recommendation window on the main interface or any other interface of the target terminal in a pop-up window manner and display a plurality of classified recommendation areas on the recommendation window to recommend different types of applications at regular time or when receiving an application recommendation request sent by the target terminal. The display duration of the recommendation window can be preset to any duration according to actual needs, for example, 5S, 10S, 30S, and the like, and can also be continuously displayed until a display stopping instruction sent by the user through the target terminal is received.
In a specific application, since the same type of application generally includes a paid application and a free application, some users prefer to install the paid application, and some users prefer to install the free application, it is possible to meet diverse needs of different users by displaying at least one paid application and at least one free application in each category recommendation region. For a certain type of application, if some users do not need to recommend the type of paid application or free application, a selection instruction for the type of application can be sent through the target terminal, so that the corresponding classification recommendation area only displays the application which the users need to recommend. For example, if the user sends a selection instruction and selects to recommend only the paid application, the corresponding classification recommendation area only displays the paid application; and vice versa.
In a specific application, the number of the paid applications and the free applications displayed in each classification recommendation area is controllable, and the control can be realized by sending corresponding instructions to the terminal equipment executing the method by a user and triggering the terminal equipment. For example, only one paid application and one free application may be displayed in each category recommendation region, or a plurality of paid applications and a plurality of free applications may be displayed in each category recommendation region.
As shown in fig. 2, An application recommendation interface is exemplarily shown, on which several classification recommendation regions, respectively denoted as classification recommendation region a1, classification recommendation regions a2, … …, classification recommendation region An-1 and classification recommendation region An, are exemplarily shown, each of which is exemplarily displayed with several paid applications and several free applications, respectively denoted as paid application domain B1, paid application domain B2, … …, paid application domain Bi-1 and paid application domain Bi, free application C1, free application C2, … …, free application Cj-1 and free application Cj; wherein n, i and j are integers greater than 1.
Step S30: and when any target application is downloaded by the target terminal, replacing the downloaded target application with other target applications of the same type.
In specific applications, if an application displayed in a certain classification recommendation area is downloaded by a target terminal, the application can be replaced by other target applications, so that the application recommended to the target terminal is always an application not installed on the target terminal.
In a specific application, since there may be a case where a target terminal downloads a certain target application, but the application is not installed, but the target application is directly deleted after a certain period of time. For this case, the application may be re-recommended to the target terminal by returning to step S10 to re-execute the application recommendation method. It may also be because the user of the target terminal, after downloading the application, finds that the application is not needed or preferred, for which case the application may never be displayed until the user sends an instruction to search for or find the application through the target terminal; the target terminal may also be prohibited from displaying the application for a certain period of time and, after the expiration of the prohibition period, displayed again.
In one embodiment, step S30 includes:
when any payment application is downloaded by the target terminal, replacing the downloaded payment application with other payment applications of the same type;
when all the paid applications of the same type are downloaded by the target terminal, replacing the downloaded paid applications with free applications of the same type;
when any free application is downloaded by the target terminal, replacing the downloaded free application with other free applications of the same type;
and when all the free applications of the same type are downloaded by the target terminal, replacing the downloaded free applications with the same type of paid applications.
In a specific application, if all the paid applications of the same type are downloaded, the free applications may be displayed at a position where the paid applications are originally displayed, so as to increase a recommendation rate of the free applications. Similarly, if all the free applications of the same type are downloaded, the paid applications can be displayed at the positions where the free applications are originally displayed, so as to increase the recommendation rate of the paid applications.
According to the method and the device for recommending the applications, the applications which are not installed on the target terminal are recommended to the target terminal in a classified mode, at least one paid application and at least one free application are displayed in the classified recommendation area of each type of application, when any application is downloaded by the target terminal, other applications of the same type are replaced, balanced recommendation of different types of free and paid applications can be achieved, and repeated recommendation of downloaded applications is avoided.
Example two
As shown in fig. 3, in the present embodiment, step S20 in the first embodiment includes:
step S21: and acquiring the downloading times of all the paid applications of the same type in a preset time period.
In specific application, the downloading frequency of each payment application needs to be recorded, the downloading frequency of each payment application is recorded once each time the payment application is downloaded, the downloading frequency of the payment application can be assigned to be an initial value of 1 when the payment application is downloaded for the first time, and the value recorded last time is added with 1 every time the downloading frequency is increased subsequently. In another application, it may also be detected whether the paid application is unloaded, and each time it is unloaded, the value of the number of downloads recorded is decremented by 1.
In a specific application, the preset time period may be set according to actual needs, and the preset time period may refer to a time period that takes the current time as a deadline and backtracks forward, for example, a past week, a past month, a past year, and the like. The preset time period may be a time period in which an arbitrary time is set as the start time and the end time, for example, the last week, the last month, the last year, or the like.
Step S22: and sequencing all the paid applications according to the sequence of the downloading times from more to less to obtain a first sequencing result.
In the specific application, all the paid applications are sorted according to the descending order of the downloading times, so as to count the downloading heat of all the paid applications. If the number of downloading times is more, the downloading heat is high, the number of users using the application is more, and the recommendation can be preferentially carried out; otherwise, the downloading heat is low, the number of users using the application is small, and recommendation can be delayed or not recommended.
In a specific application, for paid applications with the same download times, the paid applications may be ranked side by side in ranking, or may be ranked in order such as a random order and an initial order, or may be ranked according to a predetermined ranking rule, for example, the paid applications with smaller file sizes are prioritized and recommended in order from small to large file sizes of the applications, so as to save a storage space of the target terminal.
Step S23: acquiring the download times of all free applications of the same type in a preset time period;
step S24: and sequencing all the free applications according to the sequence of the download times from more to less to obtain a second sequencing result.
In the specific application, all the free applications are sorted according to the descending order of the download times, so as to count the download popularity of all the free applications. If the number of downloading times is more, the downloading heat is high, the number of users using the application is more, and the recommendation can be preferentially carried out; otherwise, the downloading heat is low, the number of users using the application is small, and recommendation can be delayed or not recommended.
In specific applications, for the free applications with the same download times, the free applications may be sorted side by side, or sequentially arranged according to a random order, an initial order, or the like, or may be sorted according to a predetermined sorting rule, for example, the free applications with smaller file sizes are preferentially recommended according to the order of the file sizes of the applications from small to large, so as to save the storage space of the target terminal.
It should be understood that for the paid application and the free application with the same download times, the ordering manners of the paid application and the free application may be the same or different, and may be selected according to actual needs.
Step S25: and displaying a first quantity of the paid applications and a second quantity of the free applications in each classified recommendation area according to the first sorting result and the second sorting result in a ranking positive order.
In a specific application, the first number and the second number may be the same or different, and the specific value may be set according to actual needs. The first number may be different for different classification recommendation regions, and similarly, the second number may be different.
In a specific application, the numerical values of the first number and the second number corresponding to each classification recommendation area may be set according to the preference degree of the user for different types of applications. The user's preference for different types of applications can be assessed according to the frequency of use or the number of different types of applications installed on the target terminal. If the use frequency or the number of certain types of applications on the target terminal is more, the preference degree of the user to the types of applications is high, and the numerical values of the first number and the second number corresponding to the types of applications can be set to be a large value; conversely, if the usage frequency or number of a certain type of applications on the target terminal is low, which indicates that the user has a low preference for the type of applications, the values of the first number and the second number corresponding to the type of applications may be set to a small value.
According to the method and the device for downloading the applications, all paid applications and all free applications in the same type are sorted according to the sequence of the downloading times of all paid applications and all free applications in the preset time period from high to low, the first number of paid applications and the second number of free applications are displayed in each classified recommendation area in a ranking positive sequence according to the sorting result, the applications with high downloading frequency can be preferentially recommended according to the downloading heat of each application, and user experience is improved.
EXAMPLE III
As shown in fig. 4, in this embodiment, based on the second embodiment, step S20 in the first embodiment further includes:
step S26: and acquiring the payment income of all payment applications of the same type within a preset time period.
In a specific application, the paid application is installed only by paying for downloading, and the payment income refers to the sum of the fees paid by all users for downloading a certain paid application within a preset time period. For example, if a single download of an application is charged for M, and the application is downloaded N times within a predetermined time period, the paid revenue of the application is M × N.
Step S27: and sequencing all the paid applications according to the sequence of the paid income from high to low to obtain a third sequencing result.
In the specific application, all paid applications are sequenced according to the sequence of the paid income from high to low, so that the downloading income of all paid applications is counted, if the downloading times are more, the income is high, and the preferential recommendation can be performed; otherwise, the income is low, and recommendation or non-recommendation can be delayed.
Step S28: and giving a first weight factor to the ranking of each paid application in the first sequencing result, and giving a second weight factor to the ranking of each paid application in the third sequencing result to obtain the comprehensive ranking of each paid application.
In specific application, the ranking of the pay application based on the download times and the ranking based on the pay income are respectively given with weights to calculate the comprehensive ranking, and the sizes of the two weight factors can be adjusted according to different recommendation emphasis points to obtain different comprehensive rankings. For example, from the user perspective, the proportion of the first weighting factor may be increased, with the download number as the main consideration; from the application operator's perspective, the proportion of the second weighting factor may be increased, with paid revenue as a primary consideration.
In a specific application, the proportion of the first weight factor and the second weight factor may be set according to actual needs, as long as the sum of the first weight factor and the second weight factor is ensured to be 1, for example, the first weight factor may be 60%, and the second weight factor may be 40%. The composite ranking of each paid application is the sum of its ranking in the first ranking result multiplied by the first weighting factor and its ranking in the third ranking result multiplied by the second weighting factor.
Step S29: and sequencing all the paid applications according to the comprehensive ranking of each paid application to obtain a fourth sequencing result.
In a specific application, all the paid applications are sorted according to the comprehensive ranking of each paid application, that is, all the paid applications are sorted according to the sequence of the comprehensive ranking of all the paid applications from high to low.
In specific applications, for paid applications with the same comprehensive ranking, the paid applications may be ranked side by side in ranking, or may be ranked in order such as a random order and an initial order, or may be ranked according to a predetermined ranking rule, for example, ranking is performed according to a sequence from a small file size to a large file size of the applications, and paid applications with a small file size are preferentially recommended, so as to save a storage space of the target terminal.
Step S210: and displaying a first quantity of the paid applications and a second quantity of the free applications in each classified recommendation area according to the second sorting result and the fourth sorting result in a ranking positive order.
It should be understood that all the rankings in the embodiment of the present invention are not limited to a forward ranking from high to low, a large to small, and a high to low, but may also be a reverse ranking, and accordingly, a first number of the paid applications and a second number of the free applications may be displayed in each category recommendation area in a reverse ranking order.
In a specific application, from the perspective of an application operator, the first number of the paid applications and the second number of the free applications may be displayed in each classification recommendation area in a positive ranking order in step S25 or S210, and the equivalent may be replaced by displaying the first number of the paid applications and the second number of the free applications in each classification recommendation area in a reverse ranking order. The display mode can preferentially recommend the application with less download times or higher payment, and can increase the recommendation rate and the exposure of the cold application, thereby being beneficial to improving the download times.
In a specific application, step S25 and step S210 may be executed at the same time or at different times, and usually only one of them needs to be executed, and if they are executed at the same time, the same application is displayed in a manner that the same application is not repeatedly displayed, that is, two sets of the first number of paid applications and one set of the second number of free applications are displayed. If there are two sets of the first number of payment applications that have the same payment application, only one of the same payment applications is displayed.
Example four
As shown in fig. 5, in the present embodiment, based on the second or third embodiment, the step S30 in the first embodiment includes:
step S31: and acquiring a third quantity of the payment applications according to the ranking positive sequence according to the sequencing results of all the payment applications.
In a specific application, the third number is smaller than the number of all said paid applications. For example, the number of all the payment applications is 100, and the third number is 30, that is, the top 30 ranked payment applications of the 100 payment applications are obtained.
Step S32: when any one of the payment applications is downloaded by the target terminal, replacing the downloaded payment application with other payment applications which are ranked at the top in a third quantity of the payment applications;
step S33: and when the third quantity of the paid applications are all downloaded by the target terminal, replacing the downloaded paid applications with the same type of free applications.
In the specific application, the downloaded payment application is replaced by only other payment applications in the third quantity of payment applications, and when all the third quantity of payment applications are downloaded by the target terminal, the downloaded payment applications are replaced by the same type of free applications, so that the ranked payment applications are not recommended to the target terminal.
Step S34: and acquiring a fourth number of the free applications according to the ranking positive order according to the ranking results of all the free applications.
In a specific application, the fourth number is smaller than the number of all said free applications. For example, the number of all the free applications is 100, and the fourth number is 30, that is, the top 30-ranked free applications of the 100 free applications are obtained.
Step S35: when any one of the free applications is downloaded by the target terminal, replacing the downloaded free application with other free applications which are ranked at the top in a fourth number of the paid applications;
step S36: and when the fourth quantity of the paid applications are all downloaded by the target terminal, replacing the downloaded free applications with the same type of paid applications.
In the specific application, the downloaded free application is replaced by only other free applications in the fourth number of free applications, and when the fourth number of free applications are all downloaded by the target terminal, the downloaded free application is replaced by the same type of paid application, so as to avoid recommending ranked free applications to the target terminal.
In a specific application, both the paid application for replacing the free application and the free application for replacing the paid application are top ranked and not displayed and downloaded.
In the embodiment, the same type of free application is recommended after the paid applications with the top rank are all downloaded, and the same type of payment fee is recommended after the paid applications with the top rank are all downloaded, so that the recommended paid applications or the free applications with the top rank can be effectively prevented from being recommended to the target terminal, and the recommended applications are all applications with high download frequency or high profit.
