Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure.
In the application scenario of the present disclosure, when a user inputs information at a terminal (such as a mobile phone or a tablet computer), the information may be input through input method software, which generally has a pinyin input mode or a handwriting input mode, wherein in the pinyin input mode, an input interface may display a virtual keyboard, on which each letter key is distributed, and the user completes the input of pinyin by triggering the corresponding letter key, thereby displaying a character to be selected according to the input pinyin; in a handwriting input mode, an input interface displays a handwriting board, a user can directly write characters to be input on the handwriting board through fingers, and input method software recognizes the characters written by the user and displays the characters to be selected. Generally, due to the popularity of pinyin in China, an input mode of an input method is set as a pinyin input mode by default, but for most older users, the pinyin may not be familiar or the distribution positions of letter keys on a virtual keyboard in the pinyin input mode are unfamiliar, so that the input efficiency is low when the users use the pinyin input mode, and therefore, older users generally set the default pinyin input mode as a handwriting input mode actively, but for older users, the users may not be familiar with how to reset the input mode, and the input mode resetting mode is complex in operation and not flexible enough.
In order to solve the above problems, the present disclosure provides a method, an apparatus, and a storage medium for switching an input mode, which can switch the input mode for a user in time when it is detected that the input efficiency of the user is low in a current input mode, thereby avoiding a complex operation of resetting the input mode, improving the input efficiency, and improving the user experience.
The present disclosure is described below with reference to specific examples.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for switching an input mode according to an exemplary embodiment, which is applied to a terminal, as shown in fig. 1, in this embodiment, the terminal may include a mobile phone or a tablet computer, and the method includes the following steps:
in step 101, the input behavior of the user in the input method software and the current input mode of the input method software are acquired.
In this step, the input behavior of the user may be determined by obtaining the trigger of the user on the input key in the input panel in the current input mode, the input method software may include dog search input method software or microsoft input method software, the input panel is a virtual keyboard area in the terminal interface, and the current input mode may be a pinyin input mode, a handwriting input mode, a five-stroke input mode, or the like.
In step 102, the input behavior is analyzed to confirm the proficiency of the input operation using the current input mode.
The proficiency level may be represented by the number of occurrences of a switching trigger event within a preset statistical number, where the preset statistical number includes the preset number of occurrences of the statistical event, the statistical event may include that the input key is triggered twice in succession, and the switching trigger event may include that a time interval between two consecutive triggers of the input key is greater than or equal to a preset threshold.
In this step, the proficiency level of the input operation performed by using the current input mode can be confirmed by determining the time interval between two consecutive times of triggering the input key, determining whether a switching trigger event occurs according to the time interval, and acquiring the occurrence frequency of the switching trigger event within the preset statistical frequency.
It should be noted that the keys that are activated twice in succession may be the same key on the input panel or different keys.
In step 103, if the proficiency level of the input operation using the current input mode is within the preset unskilled range, the current input mode is prompted to be replaced.
In a possible implementation manner, when the occurrence frequency of the switching trigger event is greater than or equal to a preset frequency, it may be determined that the proficiency level of the input operation performed using the current input mode is within a preset unskilled range, at this time, the terminal may generate a floating frame on the current input interface and output a prompt message in the floating frame, where the prompt message is used to prompt a user whether to switch the current input mode.
For example, the prompt message in the floating frame may include an input mode to be switched and a determination button, and the user may determine an input mode that the user is skilled from the displayed input modes to be switched and switch by triggering the determination button. The input mode to be switched can be at least one of pinyin input mode, handwriting input mode, five-stroke input mode and other input modes.
In step 104, a target input method selected by the user is received, and the current input method is switched to the target input method.
In this step, the input mode selected by the user from the input modes to be switched may be obtained as the target input mode, and after the triggering operation of the user on the determination button in the prompt message is obtained, the current input mode is switched to the target input mode.
By adopting the method, the input mode can be switched for the user in time when the input efficiency of the user in the current input mode is detected to be low, so that the complex operation of resetting the input mode is avoided, the input efficiency is improved, and the user experience is also improved.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for switching an input mode according to an exemplary embodiment, which is applied to a terminal, as shown in fig. 2, in this embodiment, the terminal includes a mobile phone or a tablet computer, and in this embodiment, a current input mode is a pinyin input mode, which is described as an example, and the method includes the following steps:
in step 201, when a key in the input panel of the current pinyin input mode is activated twice in succession, a time interval during which the key is activated twice in succession is determined.
The input panel is a virtual keyboard area in the terminal interface.
In this step, the terminal obtains a time interval between two consecutive times of triggering of the key by recording the triggering time of each time of triggering of the key by the user and calculating according to the triggering time, and it should be noted that the two consecutive times of triggering of the key may be the same key on the input panel or different keys.
In step 202, it is determined whether a handover triggering event occurs according to the time interval.
In this step, it is determined that the handover trigger event occurs when it is determined that the time interval is greater than or equal to a preset threshold.
For example, the preset threshold is 2 seconds for illustration, when the time interval is acquired to be greater than or equal to 2 seconds, the switching trigger event is determined to occur, at this time, the occurrence frequency of the switching trigger event within the preset statistical frequency is continuously acquired, and when the acquired time interval is less than 2 seconds, it is determined that the switching trigger event does not occur, at this time, the current pinyin input mode is kept unchanged.
When the switching trigger event is determined to occur, executing step 203;
upon determining that the handover trigger event has not occurred, step 209 is performed.
In step 203, the occurrence frequency of the handover trigger event within the preset statistical frequency is obtained.
The preset statistical frequency may include a preset frequency of occurrence of a statistical event, where the statistical event includes that a key in the input panel is triggered twice in succession.
For example, taking the preset statistical number of times as 5 times as an example for explanation, the terminal may count the occurrence number of the handover trigger event in the 5 statistical events.
In step 204, it is determined whether the number of occurrences is greater than or equal to a preset number.
When determining that the occurrence number is greater than or equal to the preset number, executing step 205;
upon determining that the number of occurrences is less than the preset number, step 209 is performed.
In step 205, it is determined whether the character to be selected presented by the input panel is selected.
The characters to be selected are characters which are generated by the terminal according to the pinyin input by the user and are matched with the pinyin input by the user, the characters to be selected can be multiple, and the user can select the characters required by the user from the characters to be selected displayed in the input panel candidate frame.
In a scene of information input in a pinyin input mode, a user triggers a corresponding letter key on a virtual keyboard to complete pinyin input, then a terminal displays a character to be selected in an alternative frame according to the input pinyin, the character to be selected enters a text frame from the alternative frame to be displayed when the triggering operation of the user on the character to be selected is obtained, and at the moment, the character to be selected can be determined to be selected.
When it is determined that the character to be selected presented on the input panel has been selected, execute step 206;
upon determining that the character to be selected presented by the input panel is not selected, step 209 is performed.
In step 206, the user is prompted to change the current pinyin input mode.
In this step, the terminal may generate a suspension frame on the current input interface when it is determined that the character to be selected displayed on the input panel is selected, and output a prompt message in the suspension frame, so as to prompt the user whether to switch the current pinyin input mode.
For example, the prompt message in the floating frame may include an input mode to be switched and a determination button, and the user may determine an input mode that the user is skilled from the displayed input modes to be switched and switch by triggering the determination button. In this embodiment, the input mode to be selected may be other input modes except the pinyin input mode, such as a handwriting input mode or a five-stroke input mode.
It should be noted that, if the number of occurrences of the obtained switching trigger event is greater than or equal to the preset number, a floating frame is generated on the current input interface to output the prompt message, and the floating frame may block the input panel of the pinyin input mode, thereby affecting the current information input of the user and reducing the user experience, in order to solve the problem, in this embodiment, it is determined whether the character to be selected displayed on the input panel is selected through step 205, and when the character to be selected displayed on the input panel is selected, the floating frame is generated to output the prompt message, so that, before the character to be selected is selected, it can be considered that the input action of the current character of the user is completed, and therefore, the user can be prompted whether to switch the input mode through step 205 without affecting the normal input of the user, thereby improving the user experience.
In step 207, a user selected target input mode is received.
In this step, the input mode selected by the user among the input modes to be switched can be obtained as the target input mode.
In step 208, the current pinyin input method is switched to the target pinyin input method.
In a possible implementation manner, after the target input manner is determined, a switching determination message sent by a user through triggering a determination button may be received, so that switching of the input manner is completed.
In this embodiment, the target input mode may be a handwriting input mode.
In step 209, the current pinyin input mode is kept unchanged.
By adopting the method, the proficiency of the user on the current input mode can be more accurately known, and then whether the user switches the current input mode is timely prompted while the current input of the user is not interrupted, so that the user can switch the input mode only by triggering the button for confirming the switching, the complex operation of resetting the input mode is avoided, the input efficiency is improved, and the user experience is also improved.
