Background
The electric arc furnace has the advantages of high temperature, easy control, capability of manufacturing reducing atmosphere, simple smelting equipment and the like, and is widely applied to steelmaking. At present, electric arc furnace steel making mainly adopts two forms of slotted steel tapping and eccentric bottom steel tapping. When the steel tapping hole is plugged, firstly, pouring a lime block (CaO) into the steel tapping hole, and then poking the lime block into the steel tapping hole; then, magnesia sand of 3-8mm is used for filling and blocking a steel outlet channel, a mixture of magnesia sand, clay and brine is used for sealing and covering the channel, the mixture is solidified and hardened after being heated, the strength is increased, molten steel is prevented from flowing out, and the thickness of the sealing and covering is controlled to be about 50 mm; after the smelted molten steel meets the technological requirements, an operator opens the steel tapping hole by using tools such as a shovel, a steel chisel and the like, and the molten steel flows into the steel ladle through the steel tapping groove.
The steel tapping hole is plugged and opened by manual operation for a long time, the problems of overhigh temperature of the operation environment, overlarge radiation, serious dust pollution, high labor intensity, long operation time and the like exist, and meanwhile, due to the difference of personnel operation, if the steel tapping hole is not plugged firmly, the steel running accident is easily caused.
