Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for downloading and/or uploading multimedia data, please refer to fig. 1, which shows a flow diagram of the method, and the method may include:
step S101: at least a first segment and a second segment of multimedia data to be transmitted are determined based on a network status.
The multimedia data to be transmitted may be, but is not limited to, video data, audio data, and the like. The first segment and the second segment comprise content of different degrees of importance. Illustratively, the first segment may be a non-highlight segment and the second segment may be a highlight segment.
Step S102: and downloading and/or uploading the first segment by adopting the first parameters, and downloading and/or uploading the second segment by adopting the second parameters.
The definition or the data volume of the multimedia data corresponding to the first parameter is different from that of the multimedia data corresponding to the second parameter.
Specifically, the first parameter and the second parameter may be, but are not limited to, resolution, bit rate, and the like.
Illustratively, the multimedia data is video data, and the higher the resolution of the video data is, the higher the definition of the video is, whereas the lower the resolution of the video is, the lower the definition of the video is, and assuming that the first parameter is a first resolution and the second parameter is a second resolution, the first resolution and the second resolution are different.
The method for downloading and/or uploading the multimedia data provided by the embodiment of the invention can be used for downloading and/or uploading the multimedia data based on the network state, distinguishing segments of the multimedia data to be transmitted (e.g., distinguishing whether the multimedia segments to be transmitted are highlights or non-highlights), downloading and/or uploading different segments using different parameters (e.g., downloading high resolution data for highlights, downloading low resolution data for non-highlights), therefore, the method for downloading and/or uploading multimedia data provided by the embodiment of the invention can actively and intelligently predict and make corresponding adjustment in advance so as to reduce the influence of the change of the network to the minimum, the type of the segment to be transmitted can be predicted based on the network state, and the corresponding downloading/uploading parameters are used for downloading/uploading based on the type of the segment to be transmitted so as to better adapt to network changes.
In a possible implementation manner, in the method for downloading and/or uploading multimedia data provided by the foregoing embodiment, the first segment may include less important content, and the second segment may include more important content.
Exemplarily, the multimedia data is a video, the first segment may be a non-highlight segment in the video, the second segment may be a highlight segment in the video, if the video segment to be transmitted is a non-highlight segment, the first parameter is used for downloading and/or uploading, if the video segment to be transmitted is a highlight segment, the second parameter is used for downloading and/or uploading, wherein the definition corresponding to the first parameter is smaller than the definition corresponding to the second parameter, assuming that the first parameter is a first resolution, and the second parameter is a second resolution, the first resolution is smaller than the second resolution, that is, for the highlight segment, the high-resolution video data is downloaded, and for the non-highlight segment, the low-resolution video data is downloaded.
In the method for downloading and/or uploading multimedia data provided in the foregoing embodiments, there are various implementation manners for determining at least the first segment and the second segment of the multimedia data to be transmitted.
In one possible implementation, at least a first segment and a second segment of the multimedia data to be transmitted may be determined by the viewing conditions of viewers on the network.
For example, the multimedia data is video data, when other users may comment on the video data in the process of watching the video data, for example, a barrage message is left, and after the users have watched the video data, the users may also comment on the video data, for example, a network comment on the video data.
Specifically, in a possible case, the user may comment which piece of content is more wonderful and which piece of content is less wonderful, that is, the user comment contains information of a wonderful segment and a non-wonderful segment, and the first segment and the second segment can be determined by the specific content of the comments; in another possible case, users comment more on a certain piece or a certain pieces of content, the content with more comments may be a highlight segment, and the segment with less comments or no comments may be a non-highlight segment, and the first segment and the second segment can be determined according to the amount of comments made on the video segment by the users.
It will be appreciated that the viewing habits of different users may be different, and some users may skip the non-wondered segments when viewing the video, and only watch wondered segments, based on which the first segment and the second segment can be determined by the user's viewing record of the video data (i.e. which segments were viewed, which segments were skipped), which can be obtained by big data analysis of the viewing records of numerous viewers.
In addition, the concentration (concentration) of the user is different for different segments when the user views the video, for example, the concentration is higher for a highlight segment and lower for a highlight segment, based on which the first segment and the second segment can be determined by the concentration of the user for the video segment.
In another possible implementation manner, at least the first segment and the second segment of the multimedia data to be transmitted can be determined by marking information of the multimedia data by a content provider.
Specifically, the content provider may mark the multimedia data provided by the content provider, and mark which segments are less important than other segments and which are more important than other segments, that is, the multimedia data provided by the content provider already marks which segments are less important than other segments, and which segments include more important than other segments, for example, mark non-wonderful segments in 1-10 minutes and wonderful segments in 11-20 minutes, or a specific object, such as a specific character, a specific article, a specific scene, a specific thing, or a specific change (such as a goal, a line hit, or other wonderful scene) appears on the screen as a basis for dividing the first segment or the second segment, that is, an important content segment, or an unimportant content segment, the important content/unimportant content not corresponding to the first segment/the second segment one-to-one, the first segment may be important content or unimportant content and the second segment may be unimportant content or important content. And so on. The first segment and the second segment may be determined by information tagged by the content provider.
With the application and popularization of the internet and the rapid increase of the internet speed, users watch audio/video online through the internet more. Different from the traditional audio/video playing mode of downloading and storing the whole audio/video file locally and then watching, the online playing is a video playing mode of caching the data of part of the audio/video file before playing the audio/video file, so that the data of the audio/video file can be transmitted and played simultaneously, and a user can directly watch the audio/video online.
The playing effect of online playing depends on the network state, and when the network state becomes worse, the amount of buffered data is affected, and then the playing effect is affected. Wherein the buffer data amount is a difference between the downloaded data amount and the played data amount.
In this embodiment, there are various ways to determine the network status. In one possible implementation, the network status may be determined by a change in the amount of buffered data from the current time to a previous period of time.
In one possible case, if the amount of buffered data decreases gradually from the current time to a previous period of time, it may be determined that the network state is degraded, for example, the amount of buffered data may be acquired every 30s, and the amount of buffered data for the previous 5 minutes may be counted with reference to the current time, and if the amount of buffered data for the previous 5 minutes decreases gradually, it may indicate that the network state is degraded more and more. In another possible case, if some of the buffer data amounts of a period of time from the current time to the previous time are smaller than a preset buffer data amount, it may be determined that the network state is deteriorated.
In another possible implementation, the network status may be determined by a network status parameter from the current time to a previous time, where the network status parameter may be, but is not limited to, the wire speed.
In one possible case, if the network status parameter gradually decreases from the current time to a previous period, it may be determined that the network status is deteriorated; in another possible case, if values of several network state parameters among the network state parameters from the current time to a previous time are less than a preset value, it may be determined that the network state is deteriorated.
In this embodiment, when the network status becomes poor, it may be predicted whether the next segment of the currently played multimedia segment can be played according to the preset playing requirement, and if the next segment of the currently played multimedia segment cannot be played according to the preset playing requirement, the next segment of the currently played multimedia segment is downloaded by using the second parameter. The preset playing requirement may be a preset definition or a preset resolution. Illustratively, the next segment of the currently played video segment is a highlight segment, and if it is determined by prediction that the highlight segment cannot be played at a preset definition or resolution, the high-resolution video data is downloaded for the next segment of the currently played video segment.
Further, the process of predicting whether the next segment of the currently played multimedia segment can be played according to the preset playing requirement may include: and predicting the buffer data amount when the next segment of the currently played multimedia segment is played according to the buffer data amount from the current moment to a previous period, and if the buffer data amount when the next segment of the currently played multimedia segment is smaller than a preset value, determining that the next segment of the currently played multimedia segment cannot be played according to a preset playing requirement.
