Detailed Description
To further illustrate the technical means and effects of the present invention, the following detailed description is given with reference to the preferred embodiments of the present invention and the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 3, the present invention provides a white balance method of a liquid crystal display panel, including the following steps:
step S1, receiving a video source signal, and determining the refresh frequency of the video source signal according to the video source signal;
step S2, acquiring a white balance data driving table corresponding to a first refresh frequency and a second refresh frequency of a liquid crystal display panel which are measured in advance, wherein the refresh frequency of the video source signal is greater than the first refresh frequency and less than the second refresh frequency;
step S3, performing linear interpolation according to the refresh frequency of the video source signal and the white balance data driving table corresponding to the first refresh frequency and the second refresh frequency of the liquid crystal display panel to obtain the white balance data driving table corresponding to the refresh frequency of the video source signal;
and step S4, carrying out white balance processing on the liquid crystal display panel according to the white balance data driving table corresponding to the refreshing frequency of the video source signal.
In step S1, the step of determining the refresh rate of the video source signal according to the video source signal specifically includes:
step S11, decompressing the video source signal to obtain a pixel clock signal, and detecting the frequency of the pixel clock signal;
step S12, calculating the refresh frequency of the current liquid crystal display panel according to the frequency of the pixel clock signal and a preset refresh frequency calculation formula;
wherein, the preset refresh frequency calculation formula is as follows: refresh ═ PCLKRefresh/(V _ total · H _ total);
refresh is the Refresh frequency of the liquid crystal display panel, PCLKRefresh is the frequency of the pixel clock signal, V _ total is the total data scanned in the preset horizontal direction, and H _ total is the row data scanned in the preset vertical direction.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the process of detecting the frequency of the pixel clock signal in the step S11 specifically includes:
step S111, generating at least two sampling clock signals which are sequentially phase-shifted and have the same frequency;
step S112, acquiring the high level of the pixel clock signal through the sampling clock signal, and counting the number of the sampling clock signals of the high level of the pixel clock signal;
step S113, calculating the high-level duration of the pixel clock signal according to the number of the sampling clock signals of the high level of the pixel clock signal;
step S114, calculating the frequency of a pixel clock signal according to the high level duration of the pixel clock signal, wherein the frequency of the pixel clock signal is equal to 1/(2T), and T is the high level duration of the pixel clock signal;
wherein a period of the sampling clock signal is greater than twice a period of the pixel clock signal; the method for calculating the high level duration of the pixel clock signal comprises the following steps: t1 × n, where T1 is the first time of the time interval between two adjacent sampling clock signals, and n is the number of sampling clock signals that have acquired the high level of the pixel clock signal.
For example, as shown in fig. 2, five sampling clock signals CCLK1, CCLK2, CCLK3, CCLK4, and CCLK5 which are sequentially phase-shifted are generated, the time interval between two adjacent sampling clock signals is t1, as can be seen from fig. 2, the sampling clock signals CCLK1, CCLK2, CCLK3, and CCLK4 collect the high level of the pixel clock signal PCLK, that is, the number of sampling clock signals which collect the high level of the pixel clock signal PCLK is four, the duration of the high level of the pixel clock signal PCLK is 4t1, and the duty ratio of the pixel clock signal PCLK is 50% in the liquid crystal display device in general, so the frequency of the pixel clock signal PCLK is 1/(8t 1).
It is understood that, in order to reduce the error of the detected frequency of the pixel clock signal PCLK, more sampling clock signals should be provided and the time interval between adjacent sampling clock signals should be reduced as hardware allows.
Optionally, in order to further improve the accuracy of the frequency of the detected pixel clock signal PCLK, in step S1, the high level of the pixel clock signal may be sampled multiple times by the sampling clock signal, and multiple frequencies of the pixel clock signal are obtained through calculation according to the sampled high level of the pixel clock signal, and then an average value of the multiple frequencies of the pixel clock signal is calculated, and the average value of the multiple frequencies is used as the frequency of the pixel clock signal for calculating the refresh frequency. Meanwhile, in order to further improve the accuracy, in step S1, the maximum value and the minimum value of the plurality of frequencies of the pixel clock signal may be removed before calculating the average value of the plurality of frequencies of the pixel clock signal.
Preferably, the sampling clock signal is generated by a timing controller that drives the liquid crystal display panel to operate in step S111, and more specifically, is generated by a Phase Locked Loop (PLL) in the timing controller.

In step S21, the maximum refresh frequency, the minimum refresh frequency, and the normal refresh frequency of the liquid crystal display panel are determined according to the specification of the timing controller corresponding to the liquid crystal display panel.
For example, in some embodiments of the present invention, the maximum refresh rate, the minimum refresh rate, and the normal refresh rate of the liquid crystal display panel may be 70Hz, 40Hz, and 60Hz, at this time, white balance data driving tables corresponding to the liquid crystal display panel at 70Hz, 40Hz, and 60Hz are measured, the refresh rate of the video source signal is compared with 60Hz, if the refresh rate of the video source signal is greater than 60Hz, linear interpolation is performed by using the white balance data driving tables corresponding to 70Hz and 60Hz to generate a white balance data driving table corresponding to the refresh rate of the video source signal, if the refresh rate of the video source signal is less than 60Hz, linear interpolation is performed by using the white balance data driving tables corresponding to 40Hz and 60Hz to generate a white balance data driving table corresponding to the refresh rate of the video source signal, and the white balance data driving table obtained by the linear interpolation can follow the variation of the refresh rate of the video source signal The change is realized, and the change precision is high.
