Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The embodiments described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all embodiments consistent with the present invention. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the invention, as detailed in the appended claims.
At present, more and more devices are needed to be networked in a home or an office, but the connection capability of a router is limited, when a network congestion or a device drop occurs, a user needs to query the number of devices that can be connected to the router by referring to a specification or by an FAQ, and judge whether the number of devices currently connected to the router exceeds the upper limit of the number of devices that can be connected to the router, so as to solve the problem of the network congestion or the device drop. Therefore, in the related art, when a network congestion or an equipment drop occurs, the reason for the problem needs to be determined through manual query so as to solve the problem of the network congestion or the equipment drop, and thus the user experience is not good.
The method for reminding the user of replacing the router provided by the embodiment of the disclosure aims to solve the technical problem that the user needs to manually inquire to know the reason of network congestion or equipment disconnection, so that the user experience is poor.
The method for reminding a user to replace a router provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for reminding a user to replace a router according to an exemplary embodiment, and the method for reminding a user to replace a router according to the present embodiment is used in a router, as shown in fig. 1. The method for reminding the user of replacing the router comprises the following steps:
in step S11, the number of devices connected to the router is detected.
In step S12, it is determined whether the number exceeds a first preset threshold.
In step S13, if the number exceeds the first preset threshold, a prompt message is issued, and the prompt message is used to remind the user to replace the router.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, when a device establishes a connection with a router, the device sends a connection establishment request message to the router to establish a connection with the router. After receiving the connection establishment request message, the router verifies whether the account and the password carried in the connection establishment request message are correct, and if so, sends a connection establishment response message to the equipment to complete connection. The device establishing connection with the router may include a smart phone, a PAD, a desktop computer or other internet-enabled device.
After the device and the router are connected, data interaction with the router is required, so that the router can monitor the number of the devices connected with the router in real time. In addition, the router may also determine the number of devices currently connected based on the identity of the device with which the connection is established.
The router, upon detecting the number of devices connected to it, will determine whether the number exceeds a first preset threshold. The first preset threshold is a safety value of the router connecting equipment. The specific value of the first preset threshold may be set according to the model of the router, for example: when a router of a certain model can support 10 devices to be connected simultaneously at most, the first preset threshold may be set to 10, or a specific value of the first preset threshold may be set according to experience of a user, for example: if a certain router can support simultaneous connection of at most 10 devices, but a user finds that when 7 devices are simultaneously connected, the internet access speed is slow or the devices are disconnected, the first preset threshold value may be set to 6, and the like. The specific value of the first preset threshold is not limited herein.
If the router judges that the number of the devices connected with the router exceeds a first preset threshold value, the router and the devices connected with the router may be unstable, and if the situation that the internet surfing speed is low or the devices are disconnected occurs, the router sends prompt information to remind a user that the router needs to be replaced. For example: the user may be prompted to change routers that can connect more devices.
Optionally, when the router determines that the number of the devices connected to the router exceeds the first preset threshold, the router sends a prompt message, where the prompt message may also be used to prompt the user to reduce the devices connected to the router, so as to improve the speed of accessing the internet by other devices or improve the stability of the operation of other devices.
In the method for reminding the user of replacing the router, the number of the devices connected with the router is detected, whether the number exceeds a first preset threshold value is judged, and after the number exceeds the first preset threshold value, a prompt message is sent out, wherein the prompt message is used for reminding the user of replacing the router. When the number of the devices connected with the router exceeds the first preset threshold value, the prompting information is sent to remind a user of replacing the router, so that when the network congestion or the device disconnection occurs, the router can automatically remind the user of replacing the router, and the user experience can be improved.
Optionally, on the basis of the foregoing embodiment, when the number of devices connected to the router exceeds a first preset threshold, the router sends a prompt message to the terminal device, where the prompt message carries identification information for prompting the user to replace the router.
Specifically, the terminal device may be, for example, a mobile phone or a computer, and when the router determines that the number of devices connected to the router exceeds a first preset threshold, the router sends a prompt message to the terminal device, where the prompt message includes identification information for prompting a user to replace the router. In practical applications, the router may send a hint message to all devices connected to it, for example: if the first preset threshold is 6, when the router finds that the number of the connected devices exceeds 6, the router sends prompt information to all the 6 devices connected with the router. The router may send only the prompt information to at least one terminal device designated in advance, for example, the router may send the prompt information to a mobile phone or a computer of an administrator. Fig. 2A is a schematic diagram of a display interface of a prompt message, as shown in fig. 2A, it is described by taking a terminal device as a mobile phone as an example, when the number of devices connected to a router exceeds a first preset threshold, it is described that a current router cannot support a network requirement, and hardware needs to be upgraded, at this time, the router sends the prompt message to the mobile phone, and after receiving the prompt message, the mobile phone displays on a prompt interface of the mobile phone the types of all routers that can be replaced by a user, such as "please replace a router of a type, please replace a router of a B type, and please replace a router of a C type", so that the user can select according to his own actual conditions.
Furthermore, if the user wants to purchase the router of the model after selecting the model of the router that the user wants to replace on the prompt interface, the user can complete the operation through the purchase interface. Fig. 2B is a schematic diagram of a purchase interface, as shown in fig. 2B, when the user selects to replace the router with the model C in the prompt interface, the mobile phone displays the purchase interface to the user, if the user has the router with the model C, the user can directly click "cancel" in the purchase interface, and if the user wants to purchase the router with the model C, the user can click "purchase the router with the model C", so that the purchase operation can be completed.
In addition, the user may also be alerted in other ways, such as: the router can send prompt information to connected devices such as a computer or a PAD (PAD application program), when a user surfs the internet, the devices pop up prompt windows on the webpage to display the prompt information to remind the user to replace the router, or when the user surfs the internet for the first time, the webpage jumps to a prompt page to remind the user and the like. The embodiment is not limited herein as to the specific way in which the router notifies the user.
In the method for reminding the user of replacing the router in the embodiment, the prompt information sent by the router to the terminal device carries the identification information for reminding the user of replacing the router, so that when network congestion or device disconnection is caused by excessive connected devices, the router can remind the user, the phenomenon that the user needs to manually browse the data is avoided, and the user experience can be improved.
It should be noted that, after determining that the number of devices connected to the router exceeds the first preset threshold, the router may also remind the user through at least one of the following manners: light flashing mode, vibration mode or voice broadcasting mode. Therefore, the user can be reminded through the router, and the mode of reminding the user is more diversified.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a method for reminding a user to replace a router according to another exemplary embodiment, where the method is used in a router, and this embodiment is described in detail on the basis of the above embodiments, in which, when it is determined that the number of devices connected to the router does not exceed the first preset threshold, but exceeds the second preset threshold, the router will reject networking of devices outside the preset list, as shown in fig. 3, and the method for reminding the user to replace the router includes the following steps:
in step S31, it is determined whether the number exceeds a second preset threshold, wherein the second preset threshold is smaller than the first preset threshold.
In this embodiment of the present disclosure, the second preset threshold is smaller than the first preset threshold, where the second preset threshold may be set according to the needs of the user, for example: if the first preset threshold is 8, the second preset threshold may be set to 6. After monitoring the number of the devices connected with the router in real time, the router judges whether the number exceeds a second preset threshold value.
Since the second preset threshold is smaller than the first preset threshold, in one possible implementation, step S31 will be performed before step S12.
In step S32, if the number exceeds the second preset threshold and does not exceed the first preset threshold, when receiving a connection request message sent by a device, it is determined whether an identifier of the device is in a preset list, where the identifier of the device is carried in the connection request message.
In this disclosure, when the router determines that the number of devices connected to the router exceeds the second preset threshold but does not exceed the first preset threshold, it indicates that the number of devices connected to the router is at the edge of the security value, and at this time, when receiving a connection request message sent by a certain device, the router determines whether the identifier of the device carried in the connection request message is in a preset list. The preset list is preset in the router according to actual needs by the user, and the preset list may include identifiers of all devices that the user allows to access the network.
If the router determines that the identifier of the device is in the preset list, step S33 is executed, otherwise, step S34 is executed.
In step S33, a connection setup message is sent to the device.
In this embodiment, if the router determines that the identifier of the device is in the preset list, which indicates that the device is a device that the user allows to access, the router sends a connection establishment message to the device to establish a connection with the device.
In step S34, a rejection message is sent to the device, the rejection message being used to inform the device to reject the establishment of the connection.
In this embodiment, if the identifier of the device is not in the preset list, which indicates that the device may not be a device that the user allows to access, the router sends a rejection message to the device to notify the device to reject establishing the connection.
In the method for reminding a user of replacing a router according to this embodiment, when it is determined that the number of devices connected to the router exceeds a second preset threshold and does not exceed a first preset threshold, when a connection request message sent by a device is received, it is determined whether an identifier of the device is in a preset list, the identifier of the device is carried in the connection request message, the second preset threshold is smaller than the first preset threshold, if the identifier of the device is in the preset list, a connection establishment message is sent to the device, and if the identifier of the device is not in the preset list, a rejection message is sent to the device, and the rejection message is used to notify the device of rejecting establishment of connection. When the number of the connected devices exceeds the second preset threshold but does not exceed the first preset threshold, the router only allows the devices in the preset list to access the network, and prohibits the devices not in the preset list from accessing the network, so that the phenomenon that the illegal user can not access the network because the illegal user access router occupies network resources can be prevented.
The above describes the implementation process of the method for reminding the user to change the router, and the process can be implemented by a device for reminding the user to change the router, and the internal functions and structure of the device will be explained below.
