The instrument displays the amplification algorithm of the vehicle speed as follows: the meter displays that the vehicle speed is the actual vehicle speed K1+ K2, K1, K2 are all constants.
The target value of the speed is obtained by reverse operation, the set value of the active speed limit is used as the instrument display speed, the actual speed is obtained according to the calculation formula of the instrument amplification algorithm, the actual speed is the target value of the speed, and the maximum value of the speed of the active speed limit is controlled by the target value of the speed.
The speed setting button on the instrument panel sends the input signal to the engine controller and sends the set value of the active speed limit to the instrument for display through the communication bus, and the engine controller controls the vehicle speed according to the target value of the active speed limit so that the actual vehicle speed does not exceed the target value of the active speed limit.

When the user sets the speed of the active speed limit, the engine controller obtains the current speed set by the user as 100km/h through the action signal of the speed setting key.
In the example, a bidirectional communication bus between the engine controller and the instrument is a CAN bus, and the engine controller sends the active speed-limiting vehicle speed setting value of 100km/h to the instrument through the CAN bus.
After the instrument receives the set value of the active speed-limiting vehicle speed through the CAN bus, the set value is directly displayed without amplification, so that the set value of the active speed-limiting vehicle speed is also displayed as 100km/h on the instrument.
Meanwhile, the engine controller reversely calculates the target value of the active speed-limiting vehicle speed (the set value of the active speed-limiting vehicle speed-1.25)/1.03 by the following formula
The calculation gave 95.87km/h ((100-1.25)/1.03).
And the engine controller takes 95.85km/h as a vehicle speed control target and controls the actual vehicle speed to be 95.85 km/h.
The vehicle speed displayed by the instrument at this time is:
95.85*1.03+1.25=99.98km/h
substantially equal to the speed limit set by the user. By adopting the method, the speed limit function can be always kept with the set speed on the display of the maximum speed, the situation that the speed displayed by the instrument is larger than the set value in the prior art can not occur, secondly, the active speed limiting function can be fully utilized, the general active speed limiting function is that a user does not want the driving speed of the user to exceed a certain value, such as the numerical value of a speed-limiting road section, when the numerical value is exceeded, the penalty can be caused, the speed measuring equipment on the road section may have certain error, and when the speed is controlled by the actual set value, because the error of the speed measuring instrument on the road can possibly detect the overspeed of the vehicle, if the display and control method of the method is adopted, the actual control speed of a vehicle is slightly less than a set value, a certain error range of the velometer is given, and thus the overspeed of the vehicle cannot be measured even if the velometer has an error in real time, so that the function of active speed limiting is realized more accurately.

the input signal is input by adopting a speed setting key arranged on an instrument panel, the active speed limiting function of the automobile is activated, and the set value of the active speed limiting is adjusted through the operation of the speed setting key;
