Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to specific examples.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic flowchart of a method for a client to access a network according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method may be applied to a BRAS device, and the method includes:
s101: sending an authentication request message to an authentication server according to a discovery message sent by a client;
when a client needs to Access a network, the client sends a discovery message (DHCP-Discover message) to a BRAS device, where the BRAS device may be understood as a DHCP relay device, and after receiving the discovery message, the BRAS device needs to authenticate the client first, that is, send an Authentication Request message (Access Request message) to an Authentication server, where the Authentication server may be an AAA (Authentication Authorization Accounting) server.
In an embodiment of the present invention, in order to obtain parameter information of an access network, relay agent information needs to be inserted into a discovery packet, for example: the access port of the client and the identification of the access equipment. Generally, if the client is directly connected with the BRAS device, after receiving a discovery message, the BRAS device may insert an Option82 (relay agent information Option 82) into the discovery message, where the Option82 includes required relay agent information; if an intermediate node (access device) exists between the client and the BRAS device, the intermediate node may insert an Option82 in the discovery message after receiving the discovery message, and then the intermediate node sends the discovery message with the Option82 inserted to the BRAS device for processing.
S102: receiving an authentication acceptance message sent by the authentication server; the authentication acceptance message includes: an IP address of an authoritative DNS server;
if the authentication server passes the authentication of the client, the authentication server sends an authentication acceptance message to the BRAS equipment, and if the authentication server stores the IP address of the authorized DNS server of the client, the IP address of the authorized DNS server is inserted into the authentication acceptance message;
if the authentication server fails to authenticate the client, the authentication server sends an authentication rejection message to the BRAS equipment to reject the client to access the network.
S103: inserting the IP address into the discovery message and sending the discovery message to a remote address distribution server;
in an embodiment of the present invention, a request DNS server option may be preset, where the structure of the request DNS server option may refer to fig. 2, in fig. 2, Code is an identifier of the request DNS server option, n is a length of the request DNS server option, and address is an IP address of an authorized DNS server. After obtaining the IP address of the authorized DNS server, the BRAS device packages the IP address in the option of the request DNS server, namely, packages the IP address in the address part of the option of the request DNS server, and then inserts the option of the request DNS server packaged with the IP address into the discovery message; and finally, sending the discovery message inserted with the DNS server request option to a remote address allocation server.
It is worth mentioning that the IP address of the authoritative DNS server returned by the authentication server may contain multiple IP addresses, such as: the BRAS equipment needs to encapsulate all the IP addresses of the master authorized DNS server and the slave authorized DNS server in the address part of the request DNS server option.
S104: and receiving the IP address returned by the remote address allocation server and sending the IP address to the client so that the client accesses the network according to the IP address.
A plurality of remote address allocation servers may exist in a network, and BRAS equipment needs to send a discovery message inserted with an authorized DNS server IP address to each remote address allocation server; each remote address assignment server responds to an Offer message (DHCP-Offer message) according to the discovery message, the Offer message including: an IP address of an authoritative DNS server; the client can select one remote address allocation server from the plurality of remote address allocation servers according to the received providing message, and send an address Request message (DHCP-Request message) to the BRAS equipment by taking the selected remote address allocation server as a target remote address allocation server; the BRAS equipment forwards the address request message to the target remote address distribution server; the target remote address allocation server determines a configuration message (DHCP-Ack message) aiming at the client according to the address request message, and sends the configuration message to the BRAS equipment, wherein the configuration message comprises: an IP address of an authoritative DNS server; and the BRAS equipment forwards the configuration message to the client.
It is worth mentioning that after receiving the address request message sent by the client, the BRAS device inserts the IP address of the authorized DNS server into the address request message, and then forwards the address request message to the remote address allocation server. In addition, the providing message and the configuration message contain DNS server options, and the IP address of the DNS server can be authorized to be filled in the DNS server options.
In an embodiment of the present invention, if the authentication server does not store the IP address of the authorized DNS server of the client, the authentication acceptance message sent by the authentication server to the BRAS device does not carry the IP address of the authorized DNS server, so that the discovery message received by the remote address allocation server does not carry the IP address of the authorized DNS server, and at this time, the remote address allocation server determines the IP address of a public DNS server according to the IP address of the client allocated to the client, and sends the IP address of the public DNS server to the client through the BRAS device.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the client may use a remote address allocation server corresponding to the received first providing packet as a target remote address allocation server; alternatively, one of the received multiple offer messages may be randomly selected, and the remote address assignment server corresponding to the selected offer message may be used as the target remote address assignment server.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the BRAS device further needs to establish a session for the client, so that the BRAS device forwards a packet of the client according to the session. Generally, after receiving a discovery message sent by a client, a BRAS device may establish a session for the client; after the authentication is passed, setting the state of the session as a pass state; after the address request message sent by the client is sent to the target remote address allocation server, specifically, after the configuration message sent by the target remote address allocation server is received, the state of the session can be set to be an online state, so that after the client accesses the network, the BRAS device can forward the message sent by the client according to the session.
The process of accessing the network by the client is described below with reference to an example, and referring to fig. 3, the network includes the client 100, the BRAS device 200(DHCP relay device), the DHCP server 300 (remote address assignment server), and the AAA server 400 (authentication server); based on this, the process of the client accessing the network may include:
s1, the client 100 sends the discovery message to the BRAS device 200;
s2, the BRAS device 200 inserts an Option82 into the discovery message, creates a session for the client 100, and sends an authentication request message to the AAA server 400, where the authentication request message includes user information such as a client name and a client MAC (Media Access Control) address;
s3, the AAA server 400 authenticates the client according to the user information included in the authentication request message, and sends an authentication acceptance message to the BRAS device 200 when the authentication passes, where the authentication acceptance message carries the IP address of the authorized DNS server;
s4, after receiving the authentication acceptance packet, the BRAS device 200 sets the session state for the client 100 to a pass state; in addition, the IP address of the authorized DNS server is encapsulated in a preset request DNS server option, and the request DNS server option is inserted into the discovery message, and the discovery message into which the request DNS server option is inserted is sent to the DHCP server 300;
s5, the DHCP server 300 parses the received discovery packet, obtains the IP address of the authorized DNS server from the DNS server option requested by the discovery packet, encapsulates the IP address of the authorized DNS server in the DNS server option providing the packet, and sends the providing packet encapsulated with the IP address of the authorized DNS server to the BRAS device 200;
s6, BRAS device 200 forwards the received providing message to client 100;
s7, the client 100 receives the providing messages returned from the DHCP servers 300, and the client 100 may determine the target DHCP server 300 from the DHCP servers 300 according to the providing messages, determine the address request message, and send the address request message to the BRAS device 200;
s8, BRAS device 200 forwards the received address request message to target DHCP server 300;
s9, the target DHCP server 300 fills the IP address of the authoritative DNS server in the DNS server option of the configuration message, and sends the configuration message filled with the IP address of the authoritative DNS server to the BRAS device 200;
s10, after receiving the configuration packet, the BRAS device 200 sets the session state for the client 100 to an online state; in addition, the configuration message is forwarded to the client 100;
s11, the client 100 accesses the network according to the information such as the IP address of the authorized DNS server included in the configuration message.
The embodiment of the invention provides a method for accessing a client to a network, wherein BRAS equipment acquires an IP address of an authorized DNS (domain name server) from an authentication server, inserts the IP address into a discovery message and then sends the discovery message to a remote address distribution server, the remote address distribution server returns the IP address to the BRAS equipment according to the IP address in the discovery message, and the BRAS equipment sends the IP address to the client, so that the client can access the network by adopting the IP address of the authorized DNS server.
