The mobile terminal 2 stores the weather forecast information received from the weather forecast information server 3 in a storage unit (not shown) (step S82).
Then, the mobile terminal 2 confirms whether or not the weather forecast display device 1 is connected to the communication via the short-range wireless communication path 4 (step S83). In the confirmation of whether or not the communication connection is made, the mobile terminal 2 monitors the communication packet, and determines that the communication connection is not made if the response packet is not received for the entire predetermined time. The weather forecast display device 1, if receiving the packet from the mobile terminal 2, transmits a response packet to the mobile terminal 2 to respond (step S84). Thereby, a communication connection between the weather forecast display device 1 and the mobile terminal 2 is established.
Then, the weather forecast display device 1 requests information from the mobile terminal 2 (step S85). The mobile terminal 2 transmits the weather forecast information stored in step S82 to the weather forecast display device 1 (step S86).
The weather forecast display device 1 processes the received weather forecast information and generates weather forecast information 113 or weather forecast information for one week 114, and stores (updates) the information in the RAM116 (step S87).
In step S82, the mobile terminal 2 may store the information on the date and time (reception date and time information) at which the various pieces of information were received from the weather forecast information server 3, and the received weather forecast information in a storage unit (not shown). The weather forecast display device 1 may also receive the reception date-and-time information at step S86.
Further, in step S80, the weather forecast information server 3 may transmit the weather forecast information together with date and time information on which the weather forecast information is disclosed in the network. The weather forecast display device 1 may also receive the public date-and-time information in step S86.
The processing of the mobile terminal 2 is embodied by a CPU (not shown) of the mobile terminal 2 executing an application program installed in the mobile terminal 2. The mobile terminal 2 transmits the weather forecast information from the weather forecast information server 3 to the weather forecast display device 1 in communication connection with the weather forecast display device 1.
Therefore, the application program of the mobile terminal 2 may be installed to actually operate in the background.
As described above, the weather forecast information of the weather forecast display device 1 is updated to the latest information. When the weather forecast display device 1 and the mobile terminal 2 are not connected, the weather forecast display device 1 updates and displays the stored weather forecast information together with the elapsed time.
Next, a change caused by the elapse of time for displaying weather forecast information will be described.
The following description assumes the following case: at 17 o 'clock in 27 th day of 7 th month and 0 o' clock in 30 th day of 28 th month, the weather forecast display apparatus 1 and the portable terminal 2 established connection, but at 6 o 'clock in 28 th month and 11 o' clock in 7 th month, the weather forecast display apparatus 1 and the portable terminal 2 were not connected.
Fig. 9A shows the weather forecast display area 12a at 6 o' clock 58 points on day 28 of 7 months.
The weather forecast and the air temperature at 6 points, 9 points, 12 points, and 15 points are displayed in the weather forecast display area 12a, respectively.
In this case, the weather forecast display device 1 switches to the screen shown in fig. 9B in order to display the weather forecast 6 times, and displays the weather forecast at 18 points and 21 points and the predicted air temperature in the weather forecast display area 12 a. At this time, at 6 am on 28 th 7 month, the weather forecast information server 3 is stopped, and the weather forecast information 113 is not updated. The weather forecast display device 1 displays the weather forecast based on the weather forecast information received from the mobile terminal 3 at 0 o' clock 30 of day 28 of 7 months. That is, as shown in fig. 6, information "7/280: 30".
The elapsed time from the time when the weather forecast information was received was 6 hours and 28 minutes. Since it is within 8 hours, the weather forecast display device 1 causes the display area 39 (see fig. 3A) relating to the elapsed time from the time when the weather forecast information is received to display the "latest information".
In the display area 39, if the elapsed time from the time when the weather forecast information is received is within 8 hours, the weather forecast display device 1 displays "latest information", if within 12 hours, the weather forecast display device 1 displays "12H in-formation", and if within 24 hours, the weather forecast display device 1 displays "24H in-formation". Then, if 24 hours have elapsed since the time when the weather forecast information was received, it is set to blank (blank). Thus, the user can grasp whether or not the weather forecast displayed on the weather forecast display device 1 is the latest content.
The control unit 12 sets the tone of the sound emitting unit 111 based on the current date and time measured by the time measuring unit and the determined reception date and time. The control unit 12 sets the tone of the treble sound for women if the elapsed time from the time when the weather forecast information is received is within 8 hours, sets the tone of the treble sound for women if the elapsed time is within 12 hours, sets the tone of the bass sound for women if the elapsed time is within 24 hours, and sets the tone of the treble sound for men if the elapsed time is 24 hours, for example.
Further, not limited to this, the control unit 12 sets the tone of the 20 th-year-old woman if the elapsed time from the time when the weather forecast information is received is within 8 hours, sets the tone of the 30 th-year-old woman if within 12 hours, sets the tone of the 40 th-year-old woman if within 24 hours, and sets the control unit 12 to the voice of the 60 th-year-old woman if 24 hours have elapsed.
Fig. 9C shows the weather forecast display area 12a at 10 o' clock 45 points on day 7, 28.
The weather forecast and the air temperature at 12 points, 15 points, 18 points, and 21 points are displayed in the weather forecast display area 12 a.
The weather forecast display device 1 displays the weather forecast based on the weather forecast information received from the weather forecast information server 3 at 0 o' clock 30 of day 28 of 7 months by the mobile terminal 3. That is, as shown in fig. 6, in the reception date and time information 1132 of the weather forecast information 113, there are stored "7/280: 30".
The elapsed time from the time when the weather forecast information was received was 10 hours and 15 minutes. Since it is between 8 hours and 12 hours, the weather forecast display device 1 causes the display area 39 relating to the elapsed time from the time of receiving the weather forecast information to display "12H in-information". When a voice key, not shown, included in the operation reception unit 14 is operated, the control unit 12 causes the speaker 10 to output the weather forecast and/or the weather forecast of the week through the sound generation unit 111.
Fig. 9D shows the weather forecast display area 12a at 15 o 'clock and 12 o' clock for day 7, month 28. The weather forecast display area 12a displays the weather forecast and the air temperature at 15 points, 18 points, and 21 points, respectively.
The elapsed time from the time when the weather forecast information was received was 14 hours and 42 minutes. Since it is between 12 hours and 24 hours, the weather forecast display device 1 causes the display area 39 relating to the elapsed time from the time of receiving the weather forecast information to display "24H in-information". When a voice key, not shown, included in the operation reception unit 14 is operated, the control unit 12 causes the speaker 10 to output the weather forecast and/or the one-week weather forecast in the form of a nuke tone through the sound generation unit 111.
Fig. 9E shows a weather forecast display area 12a of 6 points on day 29 of 7 months. Fig. 9E shows the weather forecast display area 12a in the case where the mobile terminal 2 cannot receive the weather forecast information at 17 o ' clock and 18 o ' clock in day 28 in 7 th month and the weather forecast information at 0 o ' clock, 30 o ' clock and 6 o ' clock in day 29 in 7 th month. The weather forecast for 7 months and 29 days included in the weather forecast information 134 for one week is displayed in the weather forecast display area 12 a. The weather forecast display device 1 refers to the one-week weather forecast information 114, and displays a weather forecast for 7 months and 29 days if the weather forecast is stored.
The elapsed time from the time when the weather forecast information was received was 30 hours and 30 minutes. Since it exceeds 24 hours, the weather forecast display device 1 displays a margin (blank) in the display area 39. When a voice key, not shown, included in the operation reception unit 14 is operated, the control unit 12 outputs the weather forecast and/or the one-week weather forecast in the melody of the treble from the speaker 10 through the sound emitting unit 111.
In this way, if there is no information corresponding to the display time in the weather forecast information 113, the weather forecast display device 1 retrieves the weather forecast for the display day from the one-week weather forecast information 114 and displays it. That is, the weather forecast display device 1 displays the weather forecast of the corresponding date and time among the weather forecast information (2 nd forecast information) for a period longer than the received weather forecast information for the date and time exceeding the period of the received weather forecast information (1 st forecast information), whereby it is possible to reduce the cases where the weather forecast is not displayed.
Next, with reference to fig. 10, a description will be given of a process of displaying a weather forecast by the control unit 112 for controlling the update time of the display of the weather forecast information.
First, in step S101, the control unit 112 determines whether or not the weather forecast information received from the mobile terminal 3 has been updated, and if not, waits until the weather forecast information is updated (step S101 → no).
When the weather forecast information is updated (step S101 → yes), the control unit 112 determines the current time by the timer unit, and determines the display time of the weather forecast based on the current time (step S102). Then, the control unit 112 obtains the elapsed time from the time when the weather forecast information displayed on the display unit 12 is received, through steps S103 to S109.
First, in step S103, the control unit 112 refers to the reception date and time information 1132 of the weather forecast information 113, determines whether or not the elapsed time from the time when the data was received exceeds 24 hours, and if the elapsed time exceeds 24 hours (step S103 → y), it proceeds to step S109. If the elapsed time is 24 hours or less (step S103 → NO), the process proceeds to step S104.
In step S104, the control unit 112 refers to the reception date and time information of the weather forecast information 113
1132, it is judged whether or not the elapsed time from the time of receiving the data is within 12 hours, and if the elapsed time exceeds 12 hours (step S104 → no), the routine proceeds to step S108. If the elapsed time is within 12 hours (step S104 → YES), the process proceeds to step S105.
In step S108, the control unit 112 causes the display area 39 (fig. 3A) relating to the elapsed time from the time when the weather forecast information is received to display "display in 24H", and the process proceeds to step S110.
In step S105, the control unit 112 refers to the reception date and time information of the weather forecast information 113
1132, it is judged whether or not the elapsed time from the time of receiving the data is within 8 hours, and if the elapsed time exceeds 8 hours (step S105 → no), the routine proceeds to step S107. If the elapsed time is within 8 hours (step S105 → YES), the process proceeds to step S106.
In step S106, the control unit 112 causes the display area 39 (fig. 3A) to display the "latest information", and the process proceeds to step S110.
In step S107, the control unit 112 causes the display area 39 (fig. 3A) to display "display in 12H", and the process proceeds to step S110.
In step S110, the control unit 112 causes the display unit 12 to display a weather mark corresponding to the weather number for the weather forecast obtained in step S102 (see fig. 9A and the like). Then, the display processing of the weather forecast is ended.
In step S109, the control unit 112 displays a blank (blank) in the display area 39 (fig. 3A), and the process proceeds to step S111.
In step S111, the control unit 112 determines whether or not a weather forecast for the day is present in the one-week weather forecast information 114. The corresponding day is the year, month, and day at which the determination is made. The display section 12 displays the weather forecast for the day corresponding to the one-week weather forecast information 114 in place of the weather forecast information 113 for which there is no effective weather forecast (step S113).
When the weather forecast information 114 for the day of the week is not found in step S111 (no in step S111), the control unit 112 causes the corresponding portion of the weather sign display area 35 on the display unit 12 to be displayed with a margin (blank) (step S112), and ends the display processing of the weather forecast status.
In the case where there is no effective weather forecast as described above, the weather may be automatically forecasted based on the measurement results of the temperature sensor 19a, the humidity sensor 19b, and the air pressure sensor, not shown, of the weather forecast display device 1, and the weather mark may be displayed in the corresponding portion of the weather mark display area 35. When the mobile terminal 2 is reconnected, the weather forecast information received from the weather forecast information server 3 is received, and the display of the weather forecast information is restarted.
If the information on the current day is included in the one-week weather forecast information 114 in step S111 (step S111 → yes), the control unit 112 refers to the date information 1143 of the one-week weather forecast information 114, obtains the weather flag corresponding to the weather number information 1144 on the corresponding day, and displays the weather flag on the display unit 12 (see fig. 9D). Then, the display processing of the weather forecast is ended.
The weather forecast display device 1 of the above embodiment receives the weather forecast information related to the weather forecast information 113 and the one-week weather forecast information 114 from the weather forecast information server 3, and displays the one-week weather forecast by replacing the weather forecast every 3 hours by the weather forecast display device 1, and the description is given by taking this as an example. Further, it is also possible to display the weather forecast for a time unit different from the weather forecast information received from the weather forecast information server 3 by the weather forecast display device 1.
A modified example will be described with reference to fig. 11, in which the weather forecast display device 1 receives weather forecast information every 1 hour from the weather forecast information server 3, and converts the weather forecast information into a weather forecast every 3 hours and displays the weather forecast information by the weather forecast display device 1.
In the modification shown in fig. 11, the weather forecast information server 3 transmits weather forecast server information 51 including weather forecasts for every 1 hour from 12 points to 16 points, for example.
The weather forecast display device 1 receives weather forecast information for each 1 hour, such as 0 point, 3 points, 6 points, 9 points, 12 points, 15 points, 18 points, 21 points, etc., of the weather forecast server information 51 from the weather forecast information server 3, and selects the weather forecast information for each 3 hours, and sets it as the weather forecast information 113 x.
More specifically, the control unit 12 picks up the weather forecast information at 12 points and 15 points of the weather forecast server information 51 and sets it as the information content of the weather forecast information 113 x. The weather forecast information 113x is an example of the simplest selection of weather forecast information.
The weather forecast display device 1 may extract weather forecast information, which is the worst weather, from among the weather forecasts of the weather forecast server information 51 corresponding to 3 hours, which is the display time width of the device itself, and set the extracted weather forecast information as the weather forecast information 113 y.
More specifically, the control unit 12 extracts "rain" in the worst weather from among the weather forecasts at 14, 15, and 16 points of the weather forecast server information 51, and sets the extracted "rain" as the 15-point information content of the weather forecast information 113 y. The weather forecast information 113y is an example of weather forecast information from which the worst weather is extracted. Therefore, the user can accurately judge whether the rain gear is needed.
The weather extracted by the control unit 12 is not limited to rain, snow, and the like, and may be "sunny" in summer and daytime, for example. Therefore, the user can accurately judge whether ultraviolet countermeasures such as parasol are needed.
Further, the weather forecast display device 1 may set the time change of the weather forecast information in the weather forecast server information 51 as a new weather forecast, and set the new weather forecast as the weather forecast in the weather forecast information 113 z.
More specifically, the control unit 12 resets the temporal change of the weather of "rain", "cloudy", and "cloudy" in the weather forecast at 14, 15, and 16 points of the weather forecast server information 51 to the weather forecast of "rain turning cloudy", and sets the changed weather forecast as the weather forecast at 15 points of the weather forecast information 113 z. The weather forecast information 113z is an example in which a new weather flag indicates a temporal change of weather forecast information in a period related to a forecast. Thereby, the weather forecast display device 1 can improve the display accuracy of the weather forecast.
In the above example, the case where the weather forecast display device 1 converts each piece of weather forecast information of the weather forecast server information 51 into the weather forecast information 113x to 113z has been described, but the mobile terminal 2 may perform the conversion and transmit the converted information to the weather forecast display device 1. This can reduce the area in which the weather forecast information of the weather forecast display device 1 is stored.
