Abstract
The invention relates to a 3D flashing varnish and a preparation method thereof, wherein the varnish is prepared by mixing the following components in parts by weight: 74-82 parts of bi-component acrylic resin, 0.1-0.8 part of scintillation pearl, 3-7 parts of aromatic hydrocarbon solvent, 11-17 parts of ester solvent, 0.5-1.8 parts of leveling auxiliary agent and 0.6-2.5 parts of drier. The flashing varnish can be used as the surface color of the automobile for quick color change, and the original varnish of the automobile can be directly sprayed on the ground color after being polished off. Matched with a matched curing agent and a matched diluent for use, and the color varnish comprises the following components in percentage by weight: curing agent: the diluent is 2:1, (0.3-0.5), after the original bottom layer of the vehicle is ground, the glitter varnish is sprayed for 2 times in a medium-wet mode and is baked to be dry. The aromatic hydrocarbon solvent is one or a mixture of toluene and xylene.
The ester solvent is a mixture of two or more of propylene glycol methyl ether acetate, a dibasic ester mixture, and ethyl acetate or butyl acetate.
The leveling auxiliary agent is one or a mixture of an organic silicon leveling agent and an acrylate leveling agent, and the commercially available BYK 331 is preferably selected as the leveling auxiliary agent.
The drier is dibutyltin dilaurate.

The chemical structure of the pearl is metal oxide, the durability is strong, certain aging-resistant surface treatment is further carried out in the production process, the good weather resistance of the glittering pearl is determined, and the pearl is added into the high weather-resistant varnish, so the weather resistance is excellent. In the invention, the glittering pearl is a core component, the addition amount of the glittering pearl is the most critical, if the addition amount is too high, the particles are unevenly piled and dispersed, and if the addition amount is too low, the particles are sparsely distributed, and the glittering feeling is not strong.
Compared with the prior art, the 3D flashing varnish has high flicker degree and weather resistance, uniform and stable pearlescent pigment, good color rendering property and good fullness, and can obviously improve the three-dimensional texture of metal ground color.

as can be seen from the above, the varnish has qualified performance indexes, low color difference after artificial accelerated aging for 1000h, good weather resistance, high absolute values of Si (scintillation intensity) and Sa (scintillation area) at three angles of 15 degrees, 45 degrees and 75 degrees, and high scintillation degree.
