Description

Touch display device
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a touch display device.
Background
Touch display devices are becoming more common in modern people's daily life, such as touch screen smart phones, tablet computers, and the like, and are becoming more popular. The development trend of the touch display industry is developing towards narrow frames. The design of narrow frame can make the display screen under the unchangeable prerequisite of whole external dimensions, increases the size in display area to increase the visual aesthetic feeling, bring better use for the user and experience.
Most of the existing touch display devices integrate the display device and the touch device together, and the mainstream of the touch display device is an AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode). For the AMOLED display screen integrated with the touch function, the frame effect is determined by the frame portion (visible area VA and ink area) of the Cover glass plate Cover lens, the frame portion (peripheral wiring area) of the touch panel, and the frame portion (peripheral circuit and package area) of the OLED display panel. The frame part of the cover glass plate and the frame part on the OLED display panel have enough space to realize narrow frame design, the frame part of the touch panel is mainly formed by arranging edge routing wires, the edge routing wires of the current touch panel adopt metal routing wires and must avoid a packaging area, meanwhile, the total width of the edge routing wires is difficult to reduce due to the line width of the edge routing wires and the limit of line spacing, and the narrow frame design has limitation. This leads to a bottleneck in the touch design of the ultra-narrow frame product, and the frame portion of the touch panel is difficult to have a good narrow frame effect, and cannot realize a real "narrow".

The touch display panel 2 includes a display panel disposed on the substrate 1 and a touch panel disposed on the display panel. As shown in the figure, the traces in the edge trace area 5 'are all metal traces, and because the edge traces are made of metal materials and cannot be disposed on the package portion 4, the edge trace area 5' and the package portion 4 must be set in an avoiding manner.

Fig. 2 is a top view structural diagram of embodiment 1 of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 2, the touch display device of embodiment 1 of the present invention includes a substrate 1, a touch display panel 2, a package plate 3, a package portion 4, and an edge routing area 5. The touch display panel 2 is disposed on the substrate 1, and the package board 3 is disposed on the touch display panel 2. The sealing portion 4 is located between the substrate 1 and the sealing plate 3, and seals the touch display panel 2 in a space between the substrate 1 and the sealing plate 3. The edge routing area 5 is located outside the touch display panel 2, the edge routing area 5 includes a metal routing area 51 and a bonding routing area 52, and the bonding routing area 52 is located outside the metal routing area 51 and correspondingly located on the package portion 4. According to the invention, the lap joint wiring area 52 is arranged above the packaging part 4, so that part of wiring in the edge wiring area 5 can be distributed in the area occupied by the packaging part 4, the problem that the edge wiring area 5 'and the packaging part 4 are mutually avoided in the prior art is solved, and part of space of the edge wiring area 5' is released, therefore, the space occupied by the edge wiring area 5 in the embodiment is smaller, and the touch display device can realize a narrow frame.
As shown in fig. 2, in the present embodiment 1, the overlapping routing area 52 includes a plurality of overlapping routing lines 520, which are formed by overlapping a plurality of metal routing line segments 521 and transparent conductive material routing line segments 522. In this embodiment, the transparent conductive material is ITO (indium Tin oxide), which is a transparent film material, is an N-type semiconductor, has good conductive performance at room temperature, has good transmittance for visible light, and is commonly used as an anode material in an OLED display device. ITO can walk in a large number directly over encapsulation portion 4, if change ordinary metal and walk the line into ITO and walk the line, then can solve encapsulation portion 4 and marginal routing area 5' among the prior art and dodge thereby occupy the problem of space. However, the impedance of the ITO is relatively large, which may be 500 times the impedance of the metal, and if the ITO traces are used completely, the sensing amount is too small due to the too large impedance, which affects the performance of the entire touch display device. Therefore, in order to control the impedance within a range that can be covered by an IC (Integrated Circuit) and solve the problem of occupying space, the invention overlaps the metal trace 521 and the ITO trace 522 to form a complete overlapping trace 520, thereby solving the problem of avoiding the edge trace region 5' and the package portion 4 in the prior art and achieving the effect of a narrow frame. In order to better reduce the impedance of the ITO trace segment 522, the metal trace segment 521 of the adjacent landing trace 520 and the ITO trace segment 522 are disposed at the same position in this embodiment.
In order to further reduce the impedance of the ITO trace segments 522, the ratio of the total area of the ITO trace segments 522 to the area of the overlapping trace area 52 is smaller than the ratio of the total area of all the metal trace segments 521 to the area of the overlapping trace area 52. When the total area of the ITO trace segments 522 occupies 20% to 30% of the area of the overlapping trace region 52 and the total area of the metal trace segments 521 occupies 70% to 80%, the overlapping trace 520 can be better disposed above the package portion 4, and the generated impedance is smaller.
Fig. 3 is a top view structural diagram of embodiment 2 of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 3, in the present embodiment, the overlapping trace 520 in the overlapping trace area 52 is formed by overlapping a metal trace segment 521 and a transparent conductive material trace segment 522, so as to solve the problem that the package portion 4 and the edge trace area 5 'occupy space due to avoiding, release a part of the space of the edge trace area 5', and generate the technical effect of a narrow frame. In the embodiment, the transparent conductive material is ITO material, which has good conductivity and can be largely laid on the packaging part 4. The metal wire segment 521 and the ITO wire segment 522 in each two adjacent overlapping wires 520 are arranged in a staggered position.
Fig. 4 is a top view structural diagram of embodiment 3 of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 4, in the present embodiment, the overlapping trace 520 in the overlapping trace area 52 is formed by overlapping a metal trace segment 521 and a transparent conductive material trace segment 522, so as to solve the problem that the package portion 4 and the edge trace area 5 'occupy space due to avoiding, release a part of the space of the edge trace area 5', and generate the technical effect of a narrow frame. In the embodiment, the transparent conductive material is ITO material, which has good conductivity and can be largely laid on the packaging part 4. In order to better reduce the impedance of the ITO trace segment 522, in the landing trace 520 in the landing trace area 52, the diameter of the ITO trace segment 522 is larger than that of the metal trace segment 521, and the length is smaller than that of the metal trace segment 521. In order to further reduce the impedance of the ITO trace segment 522, the metal trace segment 521 and the ITO trace segment 522 of the adjacent landing trace 520 in the present embodiment are disposed at the same position.
Fig. 5 is a top view structural diagram of embodiment 4 of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 5, in the present embodiment, the overlapping trace 520 in the overlapping trace area 52 is formed by overlapping a metal trace segment 521 and a transparent conductive material trace segment 522, so as to solve the problem that the package portion 4 and the edge trace area 5 'occupy space due to avoiding, release a part of the space of the edge trace area 5', and generate the technical effect of a narrow frame. In this embodiment, the metal trace segments 521 and the ITO trace segments 522 of the adjacent overlapping traces 520 are arranged in an interlaced manner.
The transparent conductive material in the embodiment of the present invention is made of ITO, but the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and any other transparent conductive material that can achieve the same technical effect may be applied to the present invention.
Although embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described above, it is understood that the above embodiments are exemplary and should not be construed as limiting the present invention, and that variations, modifications, substitutions and alterations can be made in the above embodiments by those of ordinary skill in the art without departing from the principle and spirit of the present invention.
