Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention.
Currently, a user can use various multimedia materials to produce videos on line at a video website. After the user finishes making the video, the video website can generate a complete preview video according to the made video, and then the preview video can be played according to a request for previewing the video initiated by the user.
However, when the data volume of the video is large, the video website needs to spend a long time to generate a complete preview video, so that the user needs to wait for a long time to see the preview video, which causes low video production efficiency and poor user experience.
In order to solve the above problem, embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for previewing a video, which are capable of generating and playing a first video segment in a preview video after receiving a request for previewing the video initiated by a user, where the first video segment is a video already generated in the preview video and does not need to generate a complete preview video; the user can watch the preview video as soon as possible, the time length of the user waiting for watching the preview video can be shortened, the video making efficiency of the user can be improved, and better use experience is brought to the user.
The embodiment of the invention provides a method for previewing a video. Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for previewing a video according to an embodiment of the present invention, including the following steps:
step 101, after receiving a request for previewing a video, obtaining a download address of a multimedia material for making the video, and generating a play address of the previewing video.
In this step, after the user has finished producing the video using the plurality of multimedia materials on the video website, the user may initiate a request for previewing the video in order to see whether the produced video meets expectations. At this time, after receiving a request for previewing a video, a download address of a multimedia material for producing the video is acquired, and a play address of the preview video is generated to further generate the preview video.
The multimedia material of the manufactured product can be obtained from the download address, and in addition, the preview video can be played according to the playing address.
Specifically, the download address may be stored on the internet or may be stored on a local device. The play address is typically located on the local device.
It should be noted that, the detailed process of step 101 may refer to the prior art, and is not described herein again.
And 102, acquiring the multimedia material from the download address, and starting to generate a preview video according to the multimedia material.
In this step, a multimedia material for producing a video may be acquired from the download address generated in step 101, and generation of a preview video may be started from the acquired multimedia material.
It should be noted that, the detailed process of step 102 may refer to the prior art, and is not described herein again.
Step 103, when the generated first video segment meets the preset condition, establishing a mapping relation between the first video segment and the playing address.
The first video clip is a video generated in the preview video.
In this step, when the first video segment in the preview video is generated and the first video segment meets the preset condition, a mapping relationship between the first video segment and the playing address generated in step 101 may be established to play the first video segment.
It should be noted that the generation process of the preview video is generated in a time sequence, that is, the first video segment generated first is the initial part of the preview video.
In order to improve the user experience, the user can not only watch the preview video as soon as possible, but also watch the video smoothly without being too short and short, so that when the first video clip meets the preset condition, the mapping relationship between the first video clip and the playing address can be established to play the first video clip.
The preset condition corresponding to the first video segment may be determined according to actual requirements, and may be set as a duration threshold of the video segment, or may be set as a data amount threshold of the video segment.
Specifically, when the preset condition is set as the duration threshold of the video segment, it may be determined in real time whether the duration of the generated first video segment exceeds the duration threshold. If the time length of the generated first video clip exceeds the time length threshold value, the first video clip meets a preset condition; if the time length of the generated first video clip does not exceed the time length threshold, the first video clip does not meet the preset condition.
For example, the duration threshold may be specifically set to 3 seconds. Therefore, after the user initiates a request for previewing the video, the mapping relation between the first video clip and the playing address can be established by waiting for 3 seconds, so that the user can watch the previewing video, the time length of the user waiting for observing the previewing video can be shortened, and the video making efficiency of the user can be improved.
Further, the data volume threshold corresponds to a data volume size of the first video segment. When the preset condition is set as the data volume threshold of the video clip, whether the data volume size of the generated first video clip exceeds the data volume threshold can be judged in real time. If the data size of the generated first video clip exceeds the time length threshold, the first video clip meets a preset condition; if the size of the generated data volume of the first video clip does not exceed the data volume threshold, the first video clip does not meet the preset condition.
For example, the data amount threshold may be specifically set to 4M. Therefore, after a user initiates a request for previewing a video and waits for the data size of the generated first video segment to exceed 4M, the mapping relation between the first video segment and the playing address can be established, so that the user can watch the previewed video, the time length of the user waiting for observing the previewed video can be shortened, and the video making efficiency of the user can be improved.
And 104, playing the first video clip according to the playing address.
In this step, because of the mapping relationship between the first video segment generated in step 103 and the playing address, the first video segment can be played according to the generated mapping relationship, so that the user can view the preview video as soon as possible without waiting for the generation of the complete preview video.
Therefore, after receiving a request for previewing a video initiated by a user, the method for previewing a video provided by the embodiment of the present invention may first generate and play a first video segment in the previewing video, where the first video segment is a video already generated in the previewing video and does not need to generate a complete previewing video; the user can watch the preview video as soon as possible, the time length of the user waiting for watching the preview video can be shortened, the video making efficiency of the user can be improved, and better use experience is brought to the user.
In one implementation of an embodiment of the invention, another method for previewing a video is provided. Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart of another method for previewing a video according to an embodiment of the present invention, including the following steps:
step 201, after receiving a request for previewing a video, obtaining a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) address of a multimedia material used for making the video, and generating a play address of the previewing video on the local device.
In this step, after the user finishes making the video using the plurality of multimedia materials on the video website, a request for previewing the video may be initiated. At this time, after receiving a request for previewing a video, a URL download address of a multimedia material for producing the video is acquired, and a play address of the preview video on the local device is generated to generate the preview video.
Step 202, acquiring the multimedia material from the download address, and starting to generate a preview video according to the multimedia material.
The detailed process and technical effects of this step can refer to step 102 in the method for previewing a video shown in fig. 1, and are not described herein again.
Step 203, when the time length of the first video segment in the generated preview video exceeds a preset time length threshold, or the data size of the first video segment exceeds a preset data size threshold, establishing a mapping relationship between the first video segment and the playing address.
The first video clip is a video generated in the preview video.
In this step, when the first video segment in the preview video is generated and the duration of the first video segment exceeds the preset duration threshold, or the data size of the first video segment exceeds the preset data size threshold, a mapping relationship between the first video segment and the playing address generated in step 201 may be established to play the first video segment.
Specifically, the duration threshold or the data amount threshold may be determined according to actual conditions, and it can be understood that the duration threshold and the data amount threshold have an influence on the duration for which the user waits to watch the preview video.
And 204, when the generated second video clip meets the preset condition, establishing a mapping relation between the second video clip and the playing address, wherein the second video clip is a video generated in the preview video except the first video clip.
In this step, after the first video segment has been generated and the mapping relationship between the first video segment and the playing address is established in step 204, the remaining videos of the preview video may be continuously generated, and when the continuously generated videos, that is, the second video segment, satisfy the preset condition, the mapping relationship between the second video segment and the playing address may be established, so that the second video segment can be continuously played after the first video segment is played.
It can be understood that the video content in the second video segment and the video content in the first video segment are continuous, and thus the second video segment is continuously generated after the first video segment is generated, so that the second video segment can be continuously played after the first video segment is played, and a user cannot perceive the change of the video segment in the process of watching the video, thereby avoiding influencing the watching experience of the user.
The preset condition may include a preset duration threshold or a preset data size, which may specifically refer to the description in step 203 and is not described herein again.
And step 205, playing the first video clip according to the playing address.
The detailed process and technical effects of this step can refer to step 104 in the method for previewing a video shown in fig. 1, and are not described herein again.
It should be noted that, step 204 and step 205 may be performed simultaneously or may be performed in a chronological order, and the present invention is not limited thereto.
And step 206, playing the second video clip according to the playing address.
In this step, after the first video segment is played in step 205, the second video segment may be continuously played according to the playing address that has established the mapping relationship with the second video segment, so that the user can continue to watch the second video segment after finishing watching the first video segment, even if the entire preview video is not completely generated, the user's watching experience is not affected.
It should be noted that, in a specific implementation, referring to step 203 to step 206, after the second video segment is generated in step 204, the remaining videos of the preview video may be further generated, and a mapping relationship between the newly generated video segment and the play address is established until the entire preview video is completely generated. Therefore, the user can watch the preview video consisting of the continuous video clips, the time length of the user waiting for watching the preview video can be shortened, and the continuous and smooth watching experience can be brought to the user.
Therefore, the method for previewing the video provided by the embodiment of the invention can generate a new video clip while playing the video clip, and establish the mapping relation between the new video clip and the playing address, so that a user can watch the continuous preview video. The method and the device can shorten the time length for a user to wait for observing the preview video, can bring continuous and smooth watching experience to the user, and improve the experience of online video production of the user.
The embodiment of the invention also provides a system for previewing the video. Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a system for previewing videos according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, the system for previewing videos includes a production service module 301, a play control service module 302, and a play service module 303.
The workflow of the system for previewing videos is as follows:
the first step is as follows: the user completes video production on an operation page for producing the video on the video website and initiates a request for previewing the video.
The request for previewing the video carries information of previewing the video, and specifically, the information of previewing the video comprises a download address of a multimedia material for making the video, video segment duration in the multimedia material, cutting information of the video in the multimedia material and related information of video special effects in the multimedia material.
Secondly, the broadcast control service module 302 receives a video preview request initiated by a user and generates a play address of the video preview; and issuing a task of generating a preview video to the production service module 301, and returning a playing address of the preview video to an operation page for making the video.
Specifically, the broadcast control service module 302 obtains a download address of the multimedia material used for making the video and a play address of the preview video through a request for previewing the video, and carries the download address of the multimedia material used for making the video and the play address of the preview video in a task of generating the preview video issued to the production service module 301.
The playing address of the preview video is used for distinguishing the preview videos corresponding to different users.
Thirdly, the production service module 301 downloads the multimedia material from a Content Delivery Network (CDN) according to the received download address of the multimedia material for making the video, and starts to generate a preview video according to the multimedia material; and when the generated first video clip meets the preset condition, establishing a mapping relation between the first video clip and the playing address, wherein the first video clip is the generated video in the preview video.
The Video format of the generated first Video segment may be a streaming media format (Flash Video, FLV) or (MPEG-4, MP4), and of course, the first Video segment in other Video formats may also be generated according to actual requirements.
Fourthly, the operation page for creating the video initiates a request for acquiring the preview video to the play service module 303 according to the received play address of the preview video.
Fifthly, the playing service module 303 pushes the first video clip to an operation page for making a video according to the playing address.
And sixthly, making an operation page of the video and playing the first video clip.
In this way, the production service module 301 does not need to generate a complete preview video file, and when a video clip in the preview video is generated, the playing service module 303 can push the video clip to the operation page for making the video, so that the operation service for making the video can play the video clip in time, and the time length for a user to wait for watching the preview video is shortened.
Specifically, since the video format of the generated first video segment is the more general FLV or MP4, the first video segment can be played through an operation page for producing video using various terminal devices.
It should be noted that, in a specific implementation, after the production service module 301 generates the first video segment in the third step, the remaining videos of the preview video, such as the second video segment, the third video segment, the fourth video segment, and the like, may be further generated, and the mapping relationships between the newly generated video segments and the playing addresses are established one by one until the whole preview video is completely generated.
In addition, in the fifth step, after the playing service module 303 pushes the first video segment having a mapping relationship with the playing address to the operation page for making a video, the video segment newly established having a mapping relationship with the playing address may also be continuously pushed to the operation service for making a video, and correspondingly, in the sixth step, after the operation page for making a video has played the first video segment, the newly generated video segment may be continuously played.
Therefore, the user can watch the preview video formed by continuous video clips by making the video operation page, so that the time length of waiting for watching the preview video by the user can be shortened, and continuous and smooth watching experience can be brought to the user.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of a working principle of a system for previewing a video according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as can be seen from fig. 4, when the generation service module generates the fifth video segment, the playing service module pushes the generated first video segment to an operation page for making a video, and the operation page for making a video plays the video; meanwhile, the production service module continues to generate new video clips, so that the operation page for making the video can continuously play the generated video clips. Therefore, real-time production and pushing of the preview video are realized, and the preview real-time performance of the video is ensured.
In a specific implementation, the production service module 301 may employ a VS2010 tool, with a language environment of C + +; the broadcast control service module 302 can adopt a VIM tool, the language environment is Python2.7, and the open source framework is web. The playing service module 303 may adopt VIM tool, the language environment is python2.7, and the development database is MySql.
