背光模组及显示器的控制方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种显示技术,特别是一种背光模组及显示器的控制方法。
背景技术
随着液晶面板技术的发展,提升面板色域度成为面板技术发展的一个重要方向。目前,面板的色域度已经从70%NTSC(NTSC,National Television Standards Committee,(美国)国家电视标准委员会)提升到95%NTSC,再提升至120%NTSC。面板色域度的提升从背光到彩膜光阻大部分技术问题已经被攻克,但当色域提升至120%NTSC之后,很多观测者反映人眼对纯色画面舒适度会降低,可能的解释为高色域的纯色超出自然界的颜色范畴,人眼没有接触过此种颜色,会感到陌生和不舒适。而这也导致了高色域技术在市场的认同度降低。目前,针对这一现象尚未有较好的解决方法。
发明内容
为克服现有技术的不足,本发明提供一种背光模组及显示器的控制方法,降低高色域显示器中绿色和红色的色饱和度,提高人眼观看的舒适度。
本发明提供了一种背光模组,包括LED背光源,所述LED背光源包括至少两组交替设置的LED光源组,每组LED光源组包括阵列排布的红、绿、蓝三色LED光源,所述相邻两组LED光源组中对应红、绿二色LED光源的色域不同。
进一步地,所述LED光源组设有两组。
进一步地,两组LED光源组中对应红、绿二色LED光源的发光波长相同且半峰宽不同。
进一步地,其中一组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的半峰宽小于另一组LED光源组中对应红、绿二色LED光源的半峰宽。
本发明还提供了一种显示器的控制方法,包括所述的背光模组,所述控制方法包括如下步骤:
将显示画面的RGB色度空间转换为HSV色度空间;
设置一临界色饱和度域限值S0
将显示画面中红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的色饱和度分别与临界色饱和度域限值进行比较;
将大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域进行统计;
根据大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积的百分比,对LED背光源进行控制以及向显示器输出相应的RGB灰阶值。
进一步地,当红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积小于10%时,则直接输出显示画面所对应的RGB灰阶值,并全开LED背光源。
进一步地,当红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积大于10%且小于50%时,则将大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的色饱和度从显示画面的中心位置向显示画面的边缘位置逐渐减小,计算红色小像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的色饱和度减小后的显示画面所对应的调整后的RGB灰阶值,输出调整后的RGB灰阶值,并全开LED背光源。
进一步地,当红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积大于50%时,则直接输出显示画面所对应的RGB灰阶值,并开启两组LED光源组,其中一组LED光源组仅开启蓝色LED光源,另一组LED光源组全开,全开的这一组LED光源组为红、绿二色LED光源的半峰宽大于另一组LED光源组中对应红、绿二色LED光源的半峰宽,同时增加全开的这一组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的驱动电流,使该组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的亮度增加。
进一步地,同时增加全开的这一组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的驱动电流,使该组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的亮度增加至正常亮度的至少2倍。
进一步地,所述临界色饱和度域限值S0的取值为0.8。
本发明与现有技术相比,采用设置至少两组具有红绿蓝三基色的LED光源作为LED背光源,将大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域进行统计并根据大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的面积占显示画面的面积的百分比,对LED背光源进行控制以及对输出的RGB灰阶值进行调整,实现了降低人眼观看到红色像素点和绿色像素点时所带来的不舒适型,提高人眼对高色域显示的舒适度。

下面结合附图和实施例对本发明作进一步详细说明。
如图1所示,本发明公开了一种背光模组,包括LED背光源100,所述LED背光源100包括至少两组交替设置的LED光源组1,每组LED光源组1包括红、绿、蓝三色LED光源11、12、13,所述相邻两组LED光源组1中对应红、绿二色LED光源11、12的色域不同,两组LED光源组1中的红、绿、蓝三色LED光源11、12、13分别竖向排列成一列,从图中可以看出,红色LED光源11排成一列,绿色LED光源12排列成一列,蓝色LED光源13排列成一列,从而使LED光源呈阵列式排布。
具体地,LED光源组1由两组LED光源组交替设置组成,两组LED光源组分别为第一LED光源组1A、第二LED光源组1B,第一LED光源组1A和第二LED光源组1B交替设置,即横向交替排列,例如:以1A、1B、1A、1B、1A、1B的规律设置。
在本发明中,两组LED光源组1中对应红、绿二色LED光源11、12的发光波长相同且半峰宽不同。
下面为了更好的区分两组LED光源组中的LED光源,将第一LED光源组1A中的LED光源分别定义为第一红色LED光源11A、第一绿色LED光源12A、第一蓝色LED光源13A;第二LED光源组1B中的LED光源分别定义为第二红色LED光源11B、第二绿色LED光源12B、第二蓝色LED光源13B。
具体地,第二红色LED光源11B、第二绿色LED光源12B的半峰宽小于第一红色LED光源11A、第一绿色LED光源12A的半峰宽,而第一蓝色LED光源13A和第二蓝色LED光源13B的发光波长以及半峰宽均相等。
在本发明中第一蓝色LED光源13A与第二蓝色LED光源13B均为现有技术中的普通蓝色LED光源,其发光波长为447nm或460nm,但本发明不限于此,例如发光波长为400nm~470nm之间进行选择;第一红色LED光源11A采用现有技术中普通红色LED光源,其发光波长为630-635nm,第二红色LED光源11B采用高色域的红色LED光源,其发光波长为630-635nm,第二红色LED光源11B的半峰宽小于第一红色LED光源11A的半峰宽;第一绿色LED光源12A采用现有技术中普通蓝色LED光源,其发光波长为530-540nm,第二绿色LED光源12B采用高色域的绿色LED光源,其发光波长为530-540nm,第二绿色LED光源12B的半峰宽小于第一绿色LED光源12A的半峰宽;
如图2所示,本发明还公开了一种显示器的控制方法,在该显示器中包括上述的背光模组,其具体结构在此不在赘述,所述控制方法包括如下步骤:
S01、输入显示画面,将显示画面的RGB色度空间转换为HSV色度空间;在HSV色度空间中,可以明显的获知色调和色饱和度,因此能够更直观的进行判断,这里输入的显示画面可以为图片也可以为一帧画面。
S02、设置一临界色饱和度域限值S0,该临界色饱和度域限值S0的取值为0.8;所述临界色饱和度域限值作为本发明红色和绿色像素点的色饱和度是否需要进行调整的依据。
S03、将显示画面中红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的色饱和度分别与临界色饱和度域限值进行比较;
S04、将大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域进行统计;
S05、根据大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积的百分比,对LED背光源进行控制以及向显示器输出相应的RGB灰阶值。
所述步骤S05中当红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积小于10%时,则直接输出显示画面所对应的RGB灰阶值,并全开LED背光源。
当红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积大于10%且小于50%时,则将大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的色饱和度从显示画面的中心位置向显示画面的边缘位置逐渐减小,计算红色小像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的色饱和度减小后的显示画面所对应的调整后的RGB灰阶值,输出调整后的RGB灰阶值,并全开LED背光源。具体地,将大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的色饱和度从显示画面的中心位置向显示画面的边缘位置逐渐减小,使色彩饱和度平滑过渡,所述将大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的色饱和度从显示画面的中心位置向显示画面的边缘位置逐渐减小可以为降低至临界色饱和度域限值之内。
当红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积大于50%时,则直接输出显示画面所对应的RGB灰阶值,并开启其中一组LED光源组,该组LED光源组的红、绿二色LED光源的半峰宽大于另一组LED光源组中对应红、绿二色LED光源的半峰宽,同时增加该组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的驱动电流,使该组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的亮度增加,具体地,将第一LED光源组1A和第二LED光源组1B中的第一蓝色LED光源13A和第二蓝色LED光源13B打开,同时将第一LED光源组1A中的第一红色LED光源12A和第一绿色LED光源13A也打开,并且增加对第一红色LED光源12A和第一绿色LED光源13A的驱动电流,使第一红色LED光源12A和第一绿色LED光源13A的亮度增加。
所述同时增加该组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的驱动电流,使该组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的亮度增加至正常亮度的至少2倍;具体地,使第一红色LED光源12A和第一绿色LED光源13A的亮度增加至正常亮度的至少2倍,这里的正常亮度为现有技术中。
研究表明,在显示器显示高色域画面时,人眼会对其中的绿色和红色成分感到明显不适应,尤其是红色,可能的解释是高色域的色调超出了自然界颜色的范畴,导致人眼对高色域颜色认知产生缺陷。本发明中采用两种不同色调的的绿色和红色LED光源,并配合一定的显示画面调节,从而提高人眼对画面感知的舒适度。
本发明采用三基色LED阵列背光的方式,搭配两种不同色域的绿色和红色LED光源,并根据显示画面的色彩饱和度区域面积进行一定的调整,通过部分降低显示画面红色和绿色饱和度或者整体降低饱和度的方式,降低人眼不舒适的饱和绿光和红光,提高人眼对高色域显示的舒适度。

1.一种背光模组,包括LED背光源,其特征在于:所述LED背光源包括至少两组交替设置的LED光源组,每组LED光源组包括阵列排布红、绿、蓝三色LED光源,所述相邻两组LED光源组中对应红、绿二色LED光源的色域不同。
2.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述LED光源组设有两组。
3.根据权利要求2所述的背光模组,其特征在于:两组LED光源组中对应红、绿二色LED光源的发光波长相同且半峰宽不同。
4.根据权利要求3所述的背光模组,其特征在于:其中一组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的半峰宽小于另一组LED光源组中对应红、绿二色LED光源的半峰宽。
5.一种显示器的控制方法,其特征在于:包括如权利要求1-4所述的背光模组,所述控制方法包括如下步骤:
将显示画面的RGB色度空间转换为HSV色度空间;
设置一临界色饱和度域限值S0
将显示画面中红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的色饱和度分别与临界色饱和度域限值进行比较;
将大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域进行统计;
根据大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积的百分比,对LED背光源进行控制以及向显示器输出相应的RGB灰阶值。
6.根据权利要求5所述的显示器的控制方法,其特征在于:当红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积小于10%时,则直接输出显示画面所对应的RGB灰阶值,并全开LED背光源。
7.根据权利要求5所述的显示器的控制方法,其特征在于:当红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积大于10%且小于50%时,则将大于临界色饱和度域限值的红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的色饱和度从显示画面的中心位置向显示画面的边缘位置逐渐减小,计算红色小像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域的色饱和度减小后的显示画面所对应的调整后的RGB灰阶值,输出调整后的RGB灰阶值,并全开LED背光源。
8.根据权利要求5所述的显示器的控制方法,其特征在于:当红色像素点和绿色像素点的显示区域面积占显示画面的面积大于50%时,则直接输出显示画面所对应的RGB灰阶值,并开启两组LED光源组,其中一组LED光源组仅开启蓝色LED光源,另一组LED光源组全开,全开的这一组LED光源组为红、绿二色LED光源的半峰宽大于另一组LED光源组中对应红、绿二色LED光源的半峰宽,同时增加全开的这一组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的驱动电流,使该组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的亮度增加。
9.根据权利要求8所述的显示器的控制方法,其特征正在于:同时增加全开的这一组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的驱动电流,使该组LED光源组中红、绿二色LED光源的亮度增加至正常亮度的至少2倍。
10.根据权利要求5所述的显示器的控制方法,其特征在于:所述临界色饱和度域限值S0的取值为0.8。
