Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of spaceflight, in particular to a direct-current cold-wall type engine combustion chamber.
Background
At present, liquid metal working media are required to be used as propellants in electric propulsion systems of some spacecraft, and liquid alkali metal is applied due to the characteristics of easy ionization and high efficiency.
However, due to the high temperature characteristic, the temperature cycle characteristic and the corrosion characteristic of the liquid alkali metal, the common valve cannot be used for flow control of the liquid alkali metal, and the solidification and condensation of the residual propellant easily causes blockage and loss of the valve when the common valve is used, so that a novel control valve needs to be designed.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a liquid alkali metal phase change valve, which is used for realizing the opening of the valve by heating and liquefying alkali metal and the closing of the valve by cooling and solidifying and is used for supplying a flow-controllable electric propulsion system engine of a spacecraft.
The purpose of the invention is realized by the following technical scheme: the liquid alkali metal phase change valve comprises a working medium pipeline, a cooling liquid pipeline blocking cover and heating devices, wherein the working medium pipeline and the cooling pipeline are in an internal and external cross layout mode, the working medium pipeline is transversely inserted into the cooling liquid pipeline and is connected with the working medium pipeline through the cooling pipeline blocking cover, the cooling pipeline blocking cover is welded with the working medium pipeline and the cooling pipeline respectively, and the plurality of heating devices are symmetrically installed on the outer sides of two ends of the working medium pipeline.
Preferably, the valve is suitable for all liquid alkali metals, and on-off control of liquid alkali metal working medium supply is realized through the physical phase change characteristics of the alkali metals.
Preferably, the working fluid pipeline is made of 316 stainless steel so as to ensure the compatibility with alkali metal.
Preferably, the upper end of the cooling liquid pipeline is a cooling liquid inlet, and the lower end of the cooling liquid pipeline is a cooling liquid outlet.
Preferably, the right side of the working medium pipeline is a working medium inlet, and the left side of the working medium pipeline is a working medium outlet.
