Abstract
The invention discloses a storage device deployment change method for a storage cluster, which is characterized in that a plurality of storage devices deployed in the storage cluster use a special Ethernet link for communication. When the ID number of the storage device needs to be relocated online and the address of the special Ethernet link needs to be changed, a sub-interface is created on the special Ethernet card corresponding to the storage device, a temporary IP address is configured on the sub-interface, and the temporary link is established by using the temporary IP address; the ID change information is sent through the temporary link, the new network card address is deployed, after the ID of the newly deployed storage device is completed, the storage device is configured with the new communication link, and the temporary link is deleted, so that the smooth transition is completed.

Technical Field

Background
When a plurality of storage devices are deployed to establish a cluster, an ID number is assigned to each storage device, and the ID numbers are unique in the cluster and do not repeat mutually and are used for identifying the identity of a specific certain storage device.
The storage devices in the cluster need to communicate information, some types of devices connect the storage devices using a dedicated ethernet link, and the dedicated ethernet link is used for information transfer between the storage devices. However, in some application scenarios, in order to reduce the workload of manual configuration, the configuration is generally automatically configured on the dedicated network card according to an IP address corresponding to the ID number of the storage device. To support the deployment of storage devices in online dynamic change clusters, which involves reassigning the ID number of the storage device, the IP address of the corresponding private ethernet network is changed accordingly. At present, when an IP address is changed in Ethernet link communication, the conventional method is to disconnect the original connection and quickly reestablish the connection. If online change is required and communication information is not expected to be lost, most of the methods are to temporarily buffer the communication information needing to be transmitted in the process of changing the IP address, wait for reconnection of the Ethernet link and then transmit the communication information. However, in the device with limited cache resources, if there is more communication information in the process of link reestablishment, only part of the communication information may be lost due to insufficient cache; and some application scenarios require timeliness of communication information, and the communication information is cached and transmitted after a new link is established, so that timeliness may be lost.
Therefore, how to solve the problem that partial loss and communication information timeliness are ensured due to the fact that all communication information cannot be cached in the process of changing the IP address online is a technical problem to be solved by those skilled in the art at present.

establishing a temporary link for mutual communication connection between the storage devices through the corresponding temporary IP addresses of the storage devices;
switching information communication of each storage device in the target storage cluster from an original communication link to the temporary link;
removing the original communication link and deleting the original IP address of the Ethernet corresponding to each storage device;
acquiring the storage equipment ID change information after redeployment, and sending an execution instruction corresponding to the storage equipment ID change information to each storage equipment through the temporary link;
controlling each storage device in the target storage cluster to use the changed ID to configure a network card address corresponding to the storage device according to the execution instruction, and establishing a new communication link;
and removing the temporary link, and deleting the temporary IP address and each sub-interface of each storage device.

establishing a temporary link for mutual communication connection between the storage devices through the corresponding temporary IP addresses of the storage devices;
switching information communication of each storage device in the target storage cluster from an original communication link to the temporary link;
removing the original communication link and deleting the original IP address of the Ethernet corresponding to each storage device;
acquiring the storage equipment ID change information after redeployment, and sending an execution instruction corresponding to the storage equipment ID change information to each storage equipment through the temporary link;
controlling each storage device in the target storage cluster to use the changed ID to configure a network card address corresponding to the storage device according to the execution instruction, and establishing a new communication link;
