Description

Intelligent household appliance cloud platform and intelligent household cloud system
Technical Field
The present invention relates generally to the field of internet of things, and more particularly to a system and method for smart home services.
Background
With the development of cloud computing, internet of things and mobile internet technologies, smart homes become consumption hotspots in recent years. Many manufacturers providing devices such as household appliances and security devices are beginning to provide cloud services of intelligent goods, and provide more convenient and comfortable use experience for users. While manufacturers generally adopt two ways when providing services of intelligent devices:
(1) all functions are developed independently: building a back-end service processing cloud platform, and developing own user terminal (such as a mobile phone, a tablet personal computer and the like) application to provide a user interaction inlet;
(2) and in cooperation with an Internet of things (IoT) access service provider (such as WeChat, Ali, Jingdong and the like) of a third party, using a user terminal application (such as WeChat service number, Ali Xiaozhi, Jingdong micro-connection and the like) provided by the third party as an entrance of a user when the user remotely interacts with the intelligent household equipment.
With respect to the manner (1), since many users do not want to additionally install an application only for one brand of home products, it may cause the users not to actively experience the cloud service function provided by the device manufacturer.

In this document, smart home is a networked smart control that uses an automation control system, a computer network system, and a wireless communication technology, so that a user can conveniently control a control object such as a home appliance (or a home appliance device) through a user device such as a mobile phone or a tablet computer. In the present invention, for the sake of convenience of distinction, these home appliances and home appliances as control targets are also referred to as controlled devices or controlled terminals. And user equipment such as mobile phones and tablet computers are also called control equipment or control terminals.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic block diagram of a smart home cloud system 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown, the system 10 includes a cloud end and a device end. The cloud is also referred to as a smart appliance cloud platform 100. The device side is also referred to as an intelligent home terminal 200. The cloud and the device side may communicate via the internet 300. The smart appliance cloud platform 100 includes an application adaptation module 110 and a business service module 120. The application adaptation module 110 includes a plurality of interface adapters, each of which is adapted to an autonomously developed terminal application or a corresponding third-party internet of things access facilitator interface to interact with a user via the autonomously developed terminal application or the corresponding third-party internet of things access facilitator terminal application. The business service module 120 is configured to communicate with the smart home terminal via the internet, so as to implement control of the smart home terminal. The smart home terminal 200 may be regarded as a general term for various home appliances in the same household. As an example, the smart home appliance that may be the smart home terminal 200 may include a television 220a, a refrigerator 220b, an air conditioner 220c, an air purifier 220d, and the like (hereinafter, collectively referred to as the smart home appliance 220). Included among these intelligent appliances are respective intelligent modules 222a, 222b, 222c, 222d (collectively intelligent modules 222). The intelligence module 222 may receive control instructions from the cloud via the internet and execute the instructions accordingly. The smart module 222 may also collect status information of the respective smart appliances and report the status information to the cloud via the internet. The smart home terminal 200 also typically includes a home gateway 210. Various smart appliances 220 are connected to the gateway 210 and communicate with the cloud (e.g., smart appliance cloud platform 100) through the gateway 210.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic block diagram of an application adaptation module 110 according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown, the application adaptation module 110 may include a variety of different interface adapters. Each interface adapter provides an adaptation to an autonomously developed application or a third party IoT access facilitator interface to interact with a user through an autonomously developed terminal application or a terminal application provided by a third party IoT access facilitator (e.g., a WeChat service number, Alisma wisdom, Kyoto Federation, etc.). As shown, the application adaptation module 110 according to an embodiment of the present invention may include an interface adapted with a third party IoT access service provider, such as a wechat interface 112, a kyoton interface 114, an ali interface 116, and an interface 118 adapted with an autonomously developed application. Thus, the user may use the mobile phone or the tablet computer to access the smart home service system 10 through various internet of things terminal applications (e.g., WeChat, Jingdong micro Union, Ali Xiaozhi, and autonomous development APP). For example, by implementing the wechat IoT interface specification in the wechat interface and the kyoto IoT interface specification in the kyoto interface, users of the wechat application and the kyoto micro-link may easily access the smart home service system 10 to control various smart appliances, such as the television 220a, the refrigerator 220b, the air conditioner 220c, the air purifier 220d, and the like, and/or obtain status information of the smart appliances. Since third-party IoT access service providers such as wechat and kyoton already own a large number of users, the smart home cloud system 10 (specifically, the smart home cloud platform 100) according to the embodiment of the present invention may effectively expand the user population by adapting to different IoT service provider interfaces.
Optionally, the smart appliance cloud platform 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention further includes a user management module 130. Fig. 3 shows a schematic block diagram of the user management module 130 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The user management module 130 may communicate with the application adaptation module 110 to collect user information from different third party IoT service providers or autonomously developed applications. Because different third party IoT service providers may use different user information formats, the user management module 130 may also be configured to perform a unified analysis of the received user information. As shown in fig. 3, the user management module 130 may include a platform user information part 132, an analyzer 134, and a home user management part 136. The platform user information part 132 is used to receive and identify user information from different third party IoT service provider platforms for storage and management, respectively. The analyzer 134 may identify unique users from different platforms and/or identify users belonging to the same family member through bound device analysis, user sharing process, user setup information process, and the like. The home user management unit 136 is responsible for user ID management, user information management, home-user relationship management, and home-appliance relationship management, for example. Therefore, through user integration analysis, the smart home cloud system 10 (specifically, the smart home cloud platform 100) according to the embodiment of the present invention can identify unique users from different internet of things access service provider terminal applications, and bind family membership relationships, thereby implementing an effective family member management mode and a family service mode of home appliances, and providing more convenient services for families. Such as: under the condition that a certain family member is bound with all the devices in the family, another member can bind all the household appliances at one time without binding one by one.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic block diagram of a traffic service module 120 according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown, the business service module 120 may include a service module 122, a device interaction module 124, and a device data management module 126.
The service module 122 is responsible for the process logic of the product (or called controlled appliance or controlled device). Since different products may have different service logics, each product may have its own dedicated service module (also referred to as a product service sub-module), such as the television service sub-module 122a, the refrigerator service sub-module 122b, the air conditioner service sub-module 122c, the air purifier service sub-module 122d, and so on. The service module 122 may be viewed as a collection of service sub-modules for these different products.
The device interaction module 124 is responsible for interaction with the smart home terminal 200. It defines different communication protocols for different types of smart appliances, such as television communication protocol 124a, refrigerator communication protocol 124b, air conditioner communication protocol 124c, air purifier communication protocol 124d, and so forth. The device interaction module 124 further includes a control protocol adaptation unit 1242 for selecting an appropriate communication protocol for a controlled appliance to be communicated.
The device data management module 126 is responsible for collecting and managing the sensor/status data 126a reported by the smart appliances. The device data management module 126 can also manage device IDs 126b, device attributes 126c, and the like. For example, the data from the air purifier may include temperature, humidity, formaldehyde concentration, on/off status, wind speed, and the like. From this data, the cloud service may notify the user of some useful messages, such as filtering life time expiration reminders, component failure notifications, recommending actions, and so forth.
The business service module 120 implements the business service logic of the product manufacturer. For example, sensor data is reported to the cloud (specifically, to device data management module 126 via device interaction module 124) when the air purifier is running in the home. If the cloud (specifically, the air purifier service submodule 122d) finds that the room temperature is higher than a threshold set by the home, the air conditioner in the home is automatically turned on to cool down.
Embodiments in accordance with the present invention are particularly advantageous when adding new products or deleting obsolete products, as compared to the prior art of deploying home control centers. Because the business service logic is realized at the cloud, when a new product is added or an outdated product is deleted, the increase and deletion of the product service can be easily realized by expanding or deleting the product according to the product type at the cloud, and the family control center in a huge number of families does not need to be updated.
When a new product is created, new product services can be easily added by developing a new service submodule in the cloud and defining a new communication protocol.
When an old product is deleted, the service submodule of the corresponding product and the corresponding communication protocol are deleted at the cloud end, so that the service of the old product can be easily deleted.
The above sections describe the application adaptation module 110, the business service module 120 and the user management module 130, respectively. In an actual system implementation, the application adaptation module 110 may be used in combination with the business service module 120 proposed by the present invention or an existing general business service module, and vice versa. For example, the business service module 120 may be used in combination with the application adaptation module 110 according to an embodiment of the present invention or an existing general application adaptation module. And will not be described in detail herein.
Fig. 5 shows a schematic block diagram of a smart home cloud system 10' according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the figure, the smart home cloud system 10' includes a cloud-end smart home cloud platform 100 and a device-end smart home terminal 200. The cloud and the device side may communicate via the internet 300. The smart appliance cloud platform 100 includes an application adaptation module 110, a business service module 120, and a user management module 130. The smart home appliance cloud platform 100 communicates with an autonomously developed terminal application installed on a user terminal or a terminal application provided by a third party IoT access service provider via the internet through the application adaptation module 110. The details of the smart appliance cloud platform 100, the smart home terminal 200 at the device end, the application adaptation module 110, the business service module 120, and the user management module 130 have been described above, and are not repeated herein.
Various possible workflows of the smart home cloud system according to the embodiment of the invention are described below with reference to the smart home cloud system of fig. 5 and fig. 6-9. Although the workflow of the smart home cloud system according to embodiments of the present invention is illustrated in fig. 6-9 with WeChat as an example of a third party IoT access service provider application, it should be understood that the present invention is not so limited, but may be adapted for use in conjunction with other third party IoT access service provider applications or autonomously developed applications. The corresponding workflow is similar.
Fig. 6 and 7 are flowcharts illustrating a user binding device and a user unbinding device in the smart home cloud system (e.g., the cloud system 10' shown in fig. 5), respectively, according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Binding/unbinding devices are common actions used to establish a relationship between a user and a device such that the user can remotely manipulate a controlled device (or a controlled appliance).
When the first user starts to use a device, he/she binds the device as shown in fig. 6. After the equipment is started, the equipment registers to an equipment data management module at the cloud end, and some initial information, such as the equipment model name, the attribute name, the equipment serial number and the like, is uploaded. Thereafter, with the user bound, the device starts reporting its device status to the cloud (specifically, the device data management module) periodically, or from time to time as its status changes.
In the case of unbinding a device, no one can use the device again after the last user has unbound the device. The device will then stop reporting its device status to the cloud (specifically, the device data management module).
The device establishes a connection with the device data management module and reports the device status only if there is at least one user bound to the device. When no one binds the device, the device will no longer communicate with the device data management module. Therefore, the method of the invention can reduce the network burden and avoid wasting resources.
Fig. 8 shows a flowchart of a device reporting its device status in a smart home cloud system (e.g., system 10' shown in fig. 5) according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As previously described, when at least one user is bound to the device, the device will report its device status to the device data management module. Sequence 1 in fig. 8 describes the flow of device status data reporting. The user will be notified when an important device state change occurs. For example, when the device data management module analyzes that an important device status change (for example, a device component failure requires maintenance, or a filter element of the air purifier needs to be replaced due to the expiration of the service life) occurs according to the device status data reported by the device, a corresponding notification is triggered to be sent to the user. Sequence 2 in fig. 8 describes the flow of the user actively querying the device status.
Fig. 9 shows an example flowchart of a device control workflow in the smart home cloud system according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Sequence 1 in fig. 9 shows that a user issues a command to the smart home cloud system according to the embodiment of the present invention through a user terminal application (e.g., WeChat, Aliskies, Kyoto Federation, etc.) of a third-party provider.
Sequences 2 to 5 in fig. 9 show that the smart home cloud system performs automatic control on a controlled device (such as a smart home appliance) according to a command of a user, updates state information, and returns a command execution result to the user.
The invention has been described above in connection with preferred embodiments. The intelligent household appliance cloud platform can be adapted to different IoT service provider interfaces, and the user group is effectively expanded. In addition, the intelligent household appliance cloud platform can also provide user integrated analysis, can identify unique users from different platforms and bind family member relations, thereby realizing an effective family member management mode and a family service mode of household appliances and providing more convenient service for families.
According to the embodiment of the invention, the service module and the equipment interaction module are provided at the cloud. The service module provides general services related to products, such as rules of device-to-user conversation, device state inquiry and the like. The equipment interaction module is responsible for communication interaction with intelligent hardware, and each type of product has a respective communication protocol. Therefore, the intelligent home cloud system can expand or delete the cloud service module and the equipment interaction module according to the product types to realize the addition and deletion of product services, and has good flexibility for adding different product types.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the devices and methods shown above are exemplary only. The apparatus of the invention may include more or less components than those shown. The method of the present invention is not limited to the steps or sequence shown above. Many variations and modifications may occur to those skilled in the art in light of the teachings of the illustrated embodiments.
The apparatus and its components of the present invention may be implemented by hardware circuits such as very large scale integrated circuits or gate arrays, semiconductors such as logic chips, transistors, or programmable hardware devices such as field programmable gate arrays, programmable logic devices, or software executed by various types of processors, or a combination of the above hardware circuits and software.
