In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
In addition, the technical features involved in the embodiments of the present invention described below may be combined with each other as long as they do not conflict with each other.
The application information presentation method of the embodiment of the invention can be executed in any suitable type of electronic equipment which takes a flexible display screen as a user interaction interface and has the calculation capability, such as: smart phones, computers, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), tablet computers, smart watches, e-book readers, and the like.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the electronic device 100 includes a display 11, a sensor 12, and a controller 13, and the controller 13 is connected to the display 11 and the sensor 12, respectively.
The display 11 may be any type of flexible display screen, for example: flexible organic electroluminescent displays (FOLED), Flexible Liquid Crystal Displays (FLCD), Flexible Electrophoretic displays (FEPD), and the like.
The display 11 is provided with a flexible display panel and a touch sensor arranged below the flexible display panel. The touch sensor may be configured to convert a pressure applied to a specific portion of the flexible display panel or a change in capacitance generated at the specific portion of the flexible display panel into an electrical input signal. The touch sensor may be configured to detect not only a position and an area of a touch but also a pressure of the touch.
When there is a touch input on the touch sensor, a signal (or signals) corresponding thereto is sent to the controller 13. The controller 13 processes the signal(s) and then sends corresponding data to the controller 13. Thus, the controller 13 may determine which region of the flexible display panel is touched.
When an external force is applied to the display 11, the display 11 is deformed to be bent to a certain threshold angle and also to be normally operated.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 1a, the display 11 includes a substrate 111, a driving layer 112, a display panel layer 113, and a protection layer 114, wherein the driving layer 112 is disposed between the substrate 111 and the display panel layer 113, and the protection layer 114 is disposed on the display panel layer 114.
The substrate 111 may be made of the following materials: plastic, metal foil, ultra-thin glass, paper substrate, bio-composite film substrate, and the like. Wherein the plastic substrate has a structure including a process shield coated on both sides of a base film. The base film may be implemented using a resin such as Polyimide (PI), Polycarbonate (PC), polyethylene glycol terephthalate (PET), Polyethersulfone (PES), polyethylene film (PEN), Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP), or the like. The barrier coating is performed on the opposite side of the base film, and an organic film or an inorganic film may be used to maintain flexibility.
The driving layer 112 is provided with a driver for driving the display panel layer 113. The driver applies a driving voltage to a plurality of pixel switching tubes disposed on the display panel layer 113 to control an operating state of each pixel, wherein the pixel switching tubes may be Thin-film transistors (TFTs), low-temperature polysilicon TFTs, organic TFTs, or the like.
The display panel layer 113 may include an organic light emitter including a plurality of pixel units and electrode layers covering both sides of the organic light emitter. The driving layer 112 may include a plurality of transistors corresponding to the pixel units of the display panel layer 113. The controller 13 applies an electric signal to the gate of each transistor to allow the pixel unit connected to the transistor to emit light, thereby causing the display panel layer 13 to display an image.
The protective layer 114 serves to protect the display panel layer 113. For example, the protective layer 114 may include a substance such as ZrO, Ce02, Th02, or the like. The protective layer 114 may be formed as a transparent film to cover the entire surface of the display panel layer 113.
As shown in fig. 1a, the display 11 may be implemented using electronic paper (e-paper). Electronic paper is a display for applying features of ordinary ink on paper. Unlike the related art flat panel display, the electronic paper reflects light. In addition, the electronic paper may use electrophoresis using a twist ball or a capsule to change images or letters. If the display 11 is composed of transparent elements, a flexible and transparent display device can be realized. For example, if the substrate 111 is composed of a polymer substance such as a transparent plastic, if the driving layer 112 is implemented with a transparent transistor and the display panel layer 113 is implemented with a transparent organic light emitting layer and a transparent electrode, the display 11 may become transparent.
The transparent transistor is a transistor manufactured by replacing opaque silicon of the related art TFT with a transparent substance such as zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. In addition, the transparent electrode may be composed of a material such as Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) or graphene. Graphene has a honeycomb lattice plane structure composed of carbon atoms, and has transparency. In addition, the transparent organic light emitting OLED layer may be implemented using various substances.
The sensor 12 is used for detecting the bending degree of the display 11, wherein the sensor 12 can be partially or fully arranged on the display 11 along a preset direction according to business requirements, and therefore, the sensor 12 can partially or fully detect the bending area position, the bending radius, the bending angle and the like of the display 11. Further, the bending data detected by the sensor 12 is sent to the controller 13, so that the controller 13 adopts a corresponding control logic.
As shown in fig. 1b, the electronic device 100 includes a plurality of sensors 12, and the sensors 12 are sequentially arranged along a first direction in a longitudinal direction. In the transverse direction, the sensors 12 are arranged one after the other in a second direction, wherein each sensor is arranged regularly at a predetermined distance.
When an external force applies pressure to the display 11 to bend the display 11, it may recognize a bending region according to a position where the sensor of the pressure change is located. Each sensor 12 may be a resistive sensor or a micro-fiber optic sensor.
In some embodiments, the sensor 12 may also be an acceleration sensor, a gravity sensor, a gyroscope, or the like.
The controller 13 is used to implement various control logic for the electronic device, which may be a general purpose processor, a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), a single chip microcomputer, an ARM (Acorn RISCMache) or other programmable logic device, discrete gate or transistor logic, discrete hardware components, or any combination of these components. Also, the controller 13 may be any conventional processor, microcontroller, or state machine. The controller 13 may also be implemented as a combination of computing devices, e.g., a combination of a DSP and a microprocessor, a plurality of microprocessors, one or more microprocessors in conjunction with a DSP core, or any other such configuration.
