Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments of the present invention is provided for illustrative purposes, and other advantages and effects of the present invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art from the present disclosure. While the invention will be described in connection with the preferred embodiments, there is no intent to limit its features to those embodiments. On the contrary, the invention is described in connection with the embodiments for the purpose of covering alternatives or modifications that may be extended based on the claims of the present invention. In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention. The invention may be practiced without these particulars. Moreover, some of the specific details have been left out of the description in order to avoid obscuring or obscuring the focus of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, the present embodiment provides an image processing apparatus 1 including an image processing device 200. The image processing apparatus 200 includes a receiving port 210, a processor 220, a storage 230, and an output port 240. The processor 220 is connected to the receive port 210, the storage 230, and the output port 240. The image processing device 200 includes, but is not limited to, a computer, a server, or a processor of a multi-function peripheral. The technical field is image processing and recording, is suitable for processing the content of a data file, and can be applied to archive copying, transaction machines, scanners and the like. When the image processing apparatus 1 is a standalone multi-function peripheral, a peripheral device 100 may further be included, which includes a scanner (e.g., a scanner with an automatic document feeder) and a printer and corresponding control processing modules. The peripheral device 100 includes a scanner for image capturing the document D to obtain old image data ID1 of the document image DI corresponding to the document D.
The processor 220 of the image processing apparatus 200 is connected to the peripheral device 100 via the receiving port 210 and the output port 240, receives the old shadow data ID1 via the receiving port 210, and divides the old shadow data ID1 into the first region shadow data IMD1 corresponding to the first region shadow IM1 of the file D and the second region shadow data IMD2 corresponding to the second region shadow IM2 of the file D, and retains the second region shadow data IMD2 and the corresponding relationship (e.g., the relationship of the outside and the inside, and the relationship of the outside surrounding the inside) between the second region shadow data IMD2 and the first region shadow data IMD 1. These image data may be stored in the storage 230. The storage 230 may be implemented by a hard disk drive, an optical drive, a tape drive, or the like.
It should be noted that the office machine apparatus 100 may also send out a first area image processing request signal SC (unnecessary signal), and when receiving the first area image processing request signal SC, the image processing apparatus 200 knows that the first area processing mode is to be entered, and executes the following processing. The receiving port 210 and the output port 240 may be interfaces with USB interfaces, wired or wireless network interfaces, etc. that can achieve communication or generally connect electrically directly (directly soldered or connected through an electrical connector).
In the present embodiment, the second area image IM2 surrounds the first area image IM1, and the first area image IM1 has a rectangular shape. In another embodiment, the first area image IM1 has an oval or circular shape, and is suitable for a scanning and copying process of a circular or oval document.
Next, the image processing apparatus 200 performs image enhancement processing on the first-region image data IMD1 to obtain enhanced first-region image data EIMD 1. The image enhancement processing herein includes processing selected from the group consisting of image restoration processing, color enhancement processing, contrast enhancement processing, brightness enhancement processing, and outlier removal processing.
In the first mode, the image processing apparatus 200 further combines the enhanced first-region image data EIMD1 and the second-region image data IMD2 according to the correspondence relationship to generate new image data ID 2. The peripheral device 100 may further comprise a printing module for receiving the new image data ID2 and printing the new image data ID2 on the media M. In addition, the new image data ID2 can be output to the cloud server via the output port 240 for further processing, such as re-encoding or position correction according to the second region image data IMD 2.
In the second mode, the image processing apparatus 200 outputs the second-region imaging data IMD2, the enhanced first-region imaging data EIMD1 and the corresponding relationship to the cloud server via the output port 240 for further processing, such as re-encoding according to the second-region imaging data IMD 2. Moreover, the output of the second-region imaging data IMD2 occurs before the output of the enhanced first-region imaging data EIMD1, and the image enhancement processing is started during the output of the second-region imaging data IMD 2. Therefore, the time can be effectively used for executing the image enhancement of the first area and the bar code interpretation and coding processing of the second area.
The division of the first area image IM1 and the second area image IM2 can be preferably performed in the following manner. First, the image processing apparatus 200 searches the barcode block data BBD corresponding to the barcode block BB from the old image data ID 1. Then, the width W and the length L of the barcode block BB are calculated. Then, a second area image IM2 is defined according to the smaller of the width W and the length L of the barcode block BB. In fig. 3, the image processing apparatus 200 searches for the barcode block BB from the edge ED of the document image DI step by step. For example, the first area is searched pixel by pixel from the four edges ED, top, bottom, left and right, and when the boundary of the upper barcode block BB is found, the width W and the length L can be found. Since the width W is smaller than the length L, the width W is added to a fixed distance above the barcode block BB, and a predetermined distance (or number of pixels) above the barcode block BB is taken, and the entire edge is moved inward to separate the first area image IM1 and the second area image IM 2. Alternatively, the segmentation of the first area image IM1 and the second area image IM2 may be assisted by text recognition.
It should be noted that the image processing apparatus 200 and the office machine 100 may be implemented separately, or may be integrated into an integrated image processing apparatus 1, which may also be referred to as a copying machine or a copier. That is, the image processing apparatus 200 and the peripheral apparatus 100 are installed in the housing of the image processing device 1, and related data or records may be selected to be only stored in the image processing device 1 or transmitted to the cloud device through the network.
In addition, the present embodiment also provides an image processing method, which is used in the image processing apparatus, and the image processing method includes the following steps. First, the document D is scanned to obtain old video data ID1 of the document video DI corresponding to the document D. Next, the old image data ID1 is divided into first region image data IMD1 corresponding to the first region image IM1 of the document D and second region image data IMD2 corresponding to the second region image IM2 of the document D, and the first region image data IMD1 is subjected to image enhancement processing to obtain enhanced first region image data EIMD 1. Of course, the enhanced first region image data EIMD1 and the second region image data IMD2 may be combined to generate the new image data ID 2. Then, the new image data ID2 is printed on the medium M.
For example, the original pattern PT of the document D in fig. 2 is originally blurred, and the printed enhanced pattern EPT is already clear after the processing of the embodiment. However, the reason why the barcode block BB is not affected is to faithfully retain the barcode block BB so as to prevent the barcode block BB from becoming a black block after the enhancement processing, which makes the subsequent processing impossible.
In other embodiments, the processor 220 may recognize the old encoding pattern (e.g., barcode pattern) of the second area image IM2 according to the second area image data IMD2 to generate a recognition result (e.g., information for recognizing the barcode pattern, including information for copying the next generation). Then, the processor 220 generates a new code pattern different from the old code pattern according to the recognition result (e.g., a new barcode pattern containing new generation information, such as a third generation copy generated from a second generation copy, or containing copier information, copy date information, copy number information, etc.). In this case, the image processing apparatus 200 may further combine the enhanced first region image data EIMD1 with the new encoding pattern according to the corresponding relationship to generate a new image data ID2 for the peripheral device 100 to print on the medium M. In this way, the image processing apparatus 1 can perform the image enhancement processing and the code pattern recognition processing, and output the print job.
FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram of a copying system according to a preferred embodiment of the invention. The image processing method described above can also be applied to a copying system. As shown in fig. 6, a plurality of transaction devices 100 are connected to the image processing device 200 (which may be regarded as a cloud server) through a network 400, and the copying operation of each transaction device 100 is controlled, recorded and processed by the image processing device 200. In this embodiment, the peripheral device 100 outputs new image data to the image processing device 200 for processing, and after processing, the peripheral device 100 returns the processed image data to the printer.
FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating image differentiation according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 7, the differentiation of the present embodiment is similar to the previous embodiments, except that the document image DI is differentiated into a first area image IM1 belonging to the upper area image and a second area image IM2 belonging to the lower area image. The processor 220 may be designed to divide the document image DI into upper and lower portions when only one barcode block BB is detected. In another example, when the upper barcode block and the lower barcode block are detected, the middle portion of the document image DI may be defined as the second area image IM2, and the upper and lower portions of the document image DI may be defined as the first area image IM 1. In another example, when the upper barcode block and the right barcode block are detected, the lower left portion of the document image DI may be defined as the second area image IM2, and the upper right portion (the inverted L-shaped portion) of the document image DI may be defined as the first area image IM 1. Of course, this is merely an example and does not strictly limit the present invention thereto.
Through the embodiment, the first area image and the second area image can be separated, the first area image is subjected to image enhancement processing, and the enhanced first area image and the enhanced second area image are separately output or combined and then output. The cloud server and the local processor can identify or encode the second area image, reprint the second area image, and also reprint the second area image after correcting the position of the first area image according to the identified second area image. Therefore, the image of the printed medium can not generate the situation that the image of the first area is fuzzy after being copied for many times, and the image of the printed medium brings a relatively consistent copied medium for a user.
In summary, the above-mentioned embodiments are provided only for illustrating the principles and effects of the present invention, and not for limiting the present invention. Any person skilled in the art can modify or change the above-mentioned embodiments without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, it is intended that all equivalent modifications or changes which can be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and technical spirit of the present invention be covered by the claims of the present invention.
