Abstract
The invention provides a tape cassette and a tape printing system with the same, wherein the tape cassette is detachably arranged in a tape printer, the tape printer comprises a detection part, the tape cassette comprises a shell, a ribbon, an ink ribbon and an ink ribbon driving roller, the shell comprises an upper shell and a lower shell, the ribbon, the ink ribbon and the ink ribbon driving roller are arranged in a ribbon accommodating cavity formed by the upper shell and the lower shell, and the ink ribbon is driven by the ink ribbon driving roller and is supplied along a preset supply path; the shell is provided with a belt outlet and a guide arm, the guide arm is parallel to the front wall of the shell, the guide arm guides the color belt to be conveyed along the supply path, the color belt is discharged from the belt outlet, a position corresponding to the detection part on the front wall of the guide arm is provided with a position giving-up part, the position giving-up part is positioned close to the belt outlet, a gap is reserved between the position giving-up part and the detection part, and the area of the cross section of the position giving-up part is larger than or equal to that of the cross section of the detection part. The arrangement of the abdication part improves the compatibility and the universality of the tape box and effectively reduces the use cost of users.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of tape printing, in particular to a universal tape cassette detachably mounted on a tape printer and a tape printing system with the tape cassette.
Background
The print head for a tape printer prints characters, such as letters, on an ink ribbon pulled out from a tape cassette mounted in a cassette housing portion of the tape printer. Tape printers may use a plurality of ribbon types of different configurations and widths, and thus it is necessary to prepare a plurality of cassettes for the tape printer to accommodate the plurality of ribbon types.
Referring to fig. 1, a plurality of through holes 11 are provided on a side wall 10 of a conventional tape cassette housing 1 for a tape printer at positions corresponding to detection portions of the tape printer, and the through holes 11 and non-through holes on the side wall 10 are formed in a pattern corresponding to the type of ink ribbon, so that information of a pressed state or a non-pressed state of each of a plurality of detection switches on the tape printer is detected as identification information for identifying the type of ink ribbon, such as color or width, etc., mounted in the housing 1. Therefore, a single pattern cartridge can be used only with one type of ink ribbon, and is poor in versatility. In addition, the shapes of the detection switches of the detection parts on the existing different printers are different, and the shapes of the through holes on the corresponding tape cassettes are also different, so that the tape cassettes applicable to the existing printers are also in one-to-one correspondence, and the universality is poor.
In addition, positioning ribs 14 are provided on the left and right side walls 12, 13 of the conventional tape cassette, positioning grooves with shapes matching with the positioning ribs 14 are provided on the tape printer at positions corresponding to the positioning ribs 14, and the positioning ribs 14 and Yi Ka are arranged in the tape printer during the process of installing and taking out the tape cassette.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention mainly aims to provide a tape cassette applicable to various types of color tapes and various printers, and the mounting and the taking-out processes of the tape cassette are smooth.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a tape printing system having the above tape cassette.
In order to achieve the above-described main object, the present invention provides a tape cassette detachably mounted in a tape printer including a detecting portion, the tape cassette including a housing including an upper housing and a lower housing enclosing a tape accommodating chamber in which a ribbon, an ink ribbon, and an ink ribbon driving roller are disposed, the ink ribbon being driven by the ink ribbon driving roller and being fed along a predetermined feeding path; the shell is provided with an outlet and a guide arm, and the guide arm is arranged in parallel with the front wall of the shell; the guiding arm guides the color belt to be conveyed along the feeding path, the color belt is discharged from the belt outlet, the position, corresponding to the detection part, on the front wall of the guiding arm is provided with a yielding part, the yielding part is positioned at the position close to the belt outlet, a gap is reserved between the yielding part and the detection part, and the area of the cross section of the yielding part is larger than or equal to that of the cross section of the detection part.
Preferably, the relief is a groove provided in the front wall of the guide arm.
Preferably, the relief is an opening provided in the front wall of the guide arm.
In a preferred embodiment, at least one of the left and right side walls of the housing is formed in an outwardly convex arc shape.
In a preferred embodiment, the tape cassette further includes a tape guide portion provided on a downstream side of the tape outlet on the supply path, the tape guide portion guiding the ink ribbon to be discharged from the tape outlet.
In order to achieve the above-described other object, the present invention provides a tape printing system including a tape printer and a tape cassette detachably mounted to the tape printer, the tape printer including a detecting portion, the tape cassette including a housing including an upper housing and a lower housing, an ink ribbon, and an ink ribbon drive roller, the upper housing and the lower housing enclosing a ribbon housing chamber in which the ink ribbon, and the ink ribbon drive roller are disposed, the ink ribbon being driven by the ink ribbon drive roller and being fed along a predetermined feeding path; the shell is provided with a tape outlet and a guide arm, the guide arm is arranged in parallel with the front wall of the shell, the guide arm guides the color tape to be conveyed along a supply path, and the color tape is discharged from the tape outlet; the front wall of the guide arm is provided with a position corresponding to the detection part, the position of the position close to the belt outlet is provided with a clearance between the position and the detection part, and the area of the cross section of the position is larger than or equal to that of the cross section of the detection part.
According to the scheme, when the tape cassette is mounted on the tape printer, the detection switch of the detection part of the tape printer is in a non-pressing state, different types of ink tapes can be identified through visual inspection, and then the corresponding types of ink tapes are selected on the tape printer for printing. In addition, the abdication part is a groove or an opening arranged on the front wall of the shell, and can accommodate detection switches with different shapes of different printers, so the tape cassette is suitable for various printers. The compatibility and the universality of the tape box are improved by the arrangement of the abdication part, and the use cost of a user is effectively reduced.

Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 2 and 3, the tape printing system of the present embodiment includes a tape printer including a cassette housing portion, a detection portion having a plurality of detection switches, a printing device, a cutting mechanism, and the like, and a tape cassette detachably mounted on the tape printer. The cartridge is mounted in the cartridge housing portion, the cartridge includes a housing 21, a ribbon 2, an ink ribbon 6, and an ink ribbon drive roller 4, the housing 21 includes an upper housing 211 and a lower housing 212, the upper housing 211 and the lower housing 212 enclose a ribbon housing chamber 213, the ribbon 2, the ink ribbon 6, and the ink ribbon drive roller 4 are disposed in the ribbon housing chamber 213, and the ink ribbon 6 is driven by the ink ribbon drive roller 4 and fed along a predetermined feeding path.
The housing 21 has a tape outlet 214 and a guide arm 215, the guide arm 215 is disposed in parallel with the front wall of the housing 21, the guide arm 215 has a tape conveyance path 150 inside, both the ink ribbon 6 and the ink ribbon 2 pass through the tape conveyance path 150, and the guide arm 215 guides the ink ribbon 2 to be conveyed along the supply path in the tape conveyance path 150. At the time of printing, the ink ribbon 6 and the ink ribbon 2 overlap at a position near the ribbon outlet 214. The case 21 further includes a tape guide 5, the tape guide 5 being provided on the downstream side of the tape outlet 214 in the supply path, the tape guide 5 guiding the discharge of the ink ribbon from the tape outlet 214, the case 21 having a receiving groove 216 in a side wall 218 adjacent to the tape outlet 214, and a cutting mechanism being provided in the receiving groove 216 and capable of cutting the printed ink ribbon 2 at a predetermined position.
The guide arm 215 is provided with a relief portion 152 at a position on the front wall 151 corresponding to the detection portion, the relief portion 152 being located at a position near the tape outlet 14, there being a gap between the relief portion 152 and the detection portion when the tape cassette is mounted on the tape printer, the area of the cross section of the relief portion 152 being greater than or equal to the area of the cross section of the detection portion. Alternatively, the relief portion 152 is a groove provided on the front wall 151 of the guide arm 215, i.e., the relief portion 152 is recessed from the front wall 151 of the guide arm 215 toward the inside of the cassette by a certain distance, and the groove is not in communication with the tape conveying path 150. The detection part is positioned in the groove, and after the tape cassette is installed on the tape printer, the detection switches of the detection part are all in a non-pressing state.
The left and right side walls 217 and 218 of the housing 21 are each provided with an arc shape protruding outward, and positioning grooves are formed in positions of the tape printer corresponding to the left and right side walls 217 and 218 of the housing 21, and the highest position H of the arc shape is located in the positioning grooves, so that the tape cassette is positioned in the cassette accommodating portion of the tape printer. Thus, the resistance in the process of installing and taking out the tape cassette is small, and the tape cassette is convenient to take out and install.
In addition, the relief portion 152 may be an opening provided on the front wall 151 of the guide arm 215, that is, a notch may be provided on the tape cassette at a position corresponding to the detection portion of the tape printer, and the notch may be in communication with the tape conveying path 150. A protrusion extending outward from the bottom surface of the relief portion 152 is provided on the relief portion 152 at a position corresponding to the gap between the adjacent two detection switches. The above-mentioned modifications can achieve the object of the present invention.
According to the scheme, when the tape cassette is mounted on the tape printer, the detection switch of the detection part of the tape printer is in a non-pressing state, different types of ink tapes can be identified through visual inspection, and then the corresponding types of ink tapes are selected on the tape printer for printing. In addition, the abdication part is a groove or an opening arranged on the front wall of the shell, and can accommodate detection switches with different shapes of different printers, so the tape cassette is suitable for various printers. The compatibility and the universality of the tape box are improved by the arrangement of the abdication part, and the use cost of a user is effectively reduced. The design concept of the invention is mainly to arrange the abdication part on the tape box at the position corresponding to the detection part of the tape printer, thereby improving the compatibility and the universality of the tape box, and according to the design concept, the shape and the size of the abdication part, the shape of the side wall of the shell and the like have various obvious changes.
Claims (10)
1. A tape cassette detachably mounted in a tape printer including a detection portion, the tape printer including a housing including an upper housing and a lower housing, an ink ribbon, and an ink ribbon drive roller, the upper housing and the lower housing enclosing a color ribbon housing chamber in which the ink ribbon, and the ink ribbon drive roller are disposed, the ink ribbon being driven by the ink ribbon drive roller and being fed along a predetermined feeding path; the housing having a ribbon outlet and a guide arm disposed parallel to a front wall of the housing, the guide arm guiding the ribbon to travel along the feed path, the ribbon being discharged from the ribbon outlet;
the method is characterized in that:

2. The tape cassette of claim 1, wherein:
the abdication part is a groove arranged on the front wall of the guide arm.
3. The tape cassette of claim 1, wherein:
the abdication part is an opening arranged on the front wall of the guide arm.
4. A tape cassette according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein:
at least one of the left side wall and the right side wall of the shell is provided with an arc shape protruding outwards.
5. A tape cassette according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein:
the tape cassette further includes a tape guide portion provided on a downstream side of the tape outlet from the supply path, the tape guide portion guiding the ribbon to be discharged from the tape outlet.

A tape printing system including a tape printer and a tape cassette detachably mounted to the tape printer, the tape printer including a detection portion, the tape cassette including a housing, a ribbon, an ink ribbon, and an ink ribbon drive roller, the housing including an upper housing and a lower housing, the upper housing and the lower housing enclosing a ribbon housing chamber in which the ribbon, the ink ribbon, and the ink ribbon drive roller are disposed, the ink ribbon being driven by the ink ribbon drive roller and being fed along a predetermined feeding path; the housing having a ribbon outlet and a guide arm disposed parallel to a front wall of the housing, the guide arm guiding the ribbon to travel along the feed path, the ribbon being discharged from the ribbon outlet;
the method is characterized in that:

at least one of the left side wall and the right side wall of the shell is provided with an arc shape protruding outwards.
10. The tape printing system of any one of claims 6 to 8, wherein:
the tape cassette further includes a tape guide portion provided on a downstream side of the tape outlet from the supply path, the tape guide portion guiding the ribbon to be discharged from the tape outlet.
