Detailed Description
Example embodiments will now be described more fully with reference to the accompanying drawings. Example embodiments may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the examples set forth herein; rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the concept of example embodiments to those skilled in the art. The drawings are merely schematic illustrations of the present disclosure and are not necessarily drawn to scale. The same reference numerals in the drawings denote the same or similar parts, and thus their repetitive description will be omitted.
Furthermore, the described features, structures, or characteristics may be combined in any suitable manner in one or more embodiments. In the following description, numerous specific details are provided to give a thorough understanding of embodiments of the disclosure. One skilled in the relevant art will recognize, however, that the subject matter of the present disclosure can be practiced without one or more of the specific details, or with other methods, components, devices, steps, and the like. In other instances, well-known structures, methods, devices, implementations, or operations are not shown or described in detail to avoid obscuring aspects of the disclosure.
The POS system, i.e., a point-of-sale information system, is a system that directly reads commodity sales information (such as commodity names, unit prices, sales quantities, sales times, sales shops, purchasing customers, etc.) through an automatic reading device (such as a cash register) when selling commodities, and transmits the information to relevant departments through a communication network and a computer system to perform analysis and processing so as to improve the operating efficiency.
The POS machine or the POS terminal is a multifunctional terminal, is arranged in a special merchant of a credit card and an acceptance network point to be connected with a computer to form a network, can realize automatic electronic fund transfer, has the functions of supporting consumption, pre-authorization, balance inquiry, transfer, printing and the like, and is safe, quick and reliable to use. Due to the multifunctionality of the POS terminal, the POS terminal can be used for various industries, and the use areas are scattered and can not be concentrated, so that the use environments are different, the adaptability of communication is insufficient, the communication stability is poor, the transaction communication speed is low, and the reliability is low; in addition, most of the used areas are crowd gathering areas, and the network reliability is complex and changeable.
When the POS terminal is in transaction, after a user swipes a card, the POS terminal sends transaction data to a background, the phenomena of poor network environment, low reliability and the like often cause that the transaction speed is low, the transaction result can be returned only by waiting for a long time, the transaction result is slow, the transaction failure rate is high or the background is corrected, and the user experience is very poor. Correction is the remedial measure taken when the system considers that the transaction may fail. The transaction is set to be a successful mark at the terminal, but the financial transaction packet sent to the host is not responded, namely the terminal transaction is overtime, so that whether the transaction is successfully completed at the host end is uncertain, in order to ensure the benefit of a user, the terminal sends a request to the host again to request to cancel the flow of the transaction, if the host end has successfully completed the transaction, the transaction is rolled back, otherwise, the transaction is not processed, and then the processing result is returned to the terminal.

In step S130, according to the first routing information, the transaction packet is sent to the background server through a second routing path.
In an exemplary embodiment, the first routing information may be stored at the POS terminal, which may be used to indicate the second routing path.
In an exemplary embodiment, the first routing information may be routing information pre-stored in an agent module of the POS terminal, and may be calculated by a routing calculation server according to a current real-time network condition at the time of a previous transaction request. However, the present disclosure is not limited to this, and in other embodiments, the first routing information may also be obtained by the routing computation server through real-time computation according to the current real-time network condition when the current transaction packet is sent.

Each machine room can provide background services for processing POS terminal transaction requests. The route calculation server may provide route calculation services/proxy network real-time route calculation services.
It should be noted that, the number of agent POS terminals through which a specific POS terminal forms a second routing path is determined according to a specific network, a specific route, and a specific real transmission request of a computer room, and may be one or multiple.
With continued reference to fig. 7, on one hand, the agent module of the first POS terminal on the left side sends the transaction request directly to the POS terminal background service machine room through the network, that is, through the first routing path; on the other hand, the agent module of the first POS terminal on the left first sends the request to the agent module of the agent POS terminal 2 through the agent module of the agent POS terminal 1, and then the agent module of the agent POS terminal 2 sends the transaction request to the POS terminal background service machine room through the network.
Wherein, the agent module of each POS terminal stores selectable agent POS terminal IP address and port information as first routing information and POS terminal background service machine room information (when a plurality of machine rooms exist), when the POS terminal needs to send transaction request, the routing computation service/proxy network real-time routing computation service of the routing computation server stores the real-time network status of each node (POS terminal, each proxy POS terminal can be considered as a node in the network) to the background server, and the network conditions between each POS terminal, when the POS terminal sends heartbeat data or returns a message (e.g., a message of a processing result), routing information of the POS terminal when a transaction request is initiated next time, that is, second routing information, is calculated, and the calculated routing information is returned to the POS terminal and recorded in an agent module of the POS terminal.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 7, the back-office includes a service cluster composed of back-office services with the same processing deployed in different rooms in different regions and a real-time routing computing service/proxy network real-time routing computing service with special computing capability. When a background application receives a transaction request each time, a routing and a machine room strategy when the POS terminal carries out a network request next time are calculated according to routing information (including the POS terminal and the agent POS terminal which the message passes through, so that the network condition of intercommunication between the POS terminals can be collected), transmission time, used machine room information, POS machine heartbeat information collected at intervals (the direct network state from the POS terminal to a server side and the use condition of the POS terminal are obtained), machine room network monitoring information (a background server is deployed in different machine rooms, such as places including a corridor, a secondary canal and the like, and the conditions of different machine room networks are different) and other data which can be used for measuring the POS machine network condition. The real-time routing calculation service calculates and obtains the routing information and the target machine room selected when the POS terminal sends the transaction request next time according to the routing information of the current transaction request, the used machine room information and the like, and the routing information and the machine room information are updated in time each time the background server interacts with the routing calculation server.
Fig. 8 illustrates a transaction flow for a POS terminal joining an agent module.
As shown in fig. 8, a user initiates a transaction, and sends a transaction message to an agent module of a POS terminal through a cashier module of the POS terminal; on one hand, the transaction message is directly sent to a background server through a network through the agent module of the POS terminal, on the other hand, the transaction message is firstly sent to the agent module of the agent POS terminal according to the first routing information, and then the transaction message is sent to the background server through the agent module of the agent POS terminal; the background server carries out transaction processing on the received transaction message to obtain a processing result; meanwhile, the background server reports information such as network, route, machine room and the like to the route computing server; the route calculation server calculates the route and/or machine room information of the next transaction request in real time according to the reported information of the network, the route, the machine room and the like; the background server directly returns the received routing and/or machine room information and processing results of the next transaction request to the agent module of the POS terminal through the network on one hand, and firstly sends the routing and/or machine room information and processing results of the next transaction request to the agent module of the agent POS terminal according to the first routing information and then returns the routing and/or machine room information and processing results to the agent module of the POS terminal through the agent module of the agent POS terminal on the other hand; and storing the routing and/or machine room information of the next request in the agent module of the POS terminal, and returning the processing result to the cash register module of the POS terminal through the agent module of the POS terminal.
Specifically, firstly, when a user conducts card swiping transaction, a cashier module of the POS terminal assembles a transaction message, calls a proxy module of the current POS terminal, and requests to send the message to a POS terminal background server.
Then, after receiving the message sending request, the agent module of the current POS terminal forwards the message according to the first routing information.
For example, the first routing information may be pre-stored in the agent module of the POS terminal. The agent module, such as the POS terminal in fig. 7 above, sends messages directly over the network while also sending messages through the agent modules of agent POS terminals 1 and 2, or while also sending messages through agent modules, such as agent POS terminal 3, POS terminal N, etc. The real-time route calculation service provided by the route calculation server can adjust the number of proxy POS terminals according to the proxy effect, and the number of the proxy POS terminals can be one or more.
Then, after receiving the request, the POS terminal background server checks whether the message is a repeated message, if so, discards the message and does not process the message, and uploads the IP addresses and port numbers of the POS terminal and the proxy POS terminal which experience the repeated message and the background service machine room which experience the repeated message to the real-time routing computing service; if the message is not a repeated message, the request processing is carried out, and indexes such as the IP address and the port number of the POS terminal and the proxy POS terminal which are experienced by the non-repeated message, the message survival time (the time from the generation of the message to the last experience of the background server) and the like can be uploaded.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the repeated message means that since the message in the above figure is sent to the transaction background service through two or more routing paths, there is a possibility that the message arrives first, and the transaction background has processed the transaction request, then the later transaction message is the repeated message. The background service only needs to process the transaction message once.
Next, before the POS terminal background service completion message processing returns the processing result, routing information and machine room information (when there are multiple machine rooms) at the time of the next transaction request of the POS terminal, that is, the second routing information and the second machine room information, are requested.
In the embodiment of the present invention, since the processing result and the routing information and/or the machine room information returned through the first routing path and the second routing path may exist at the same time, when existing at the same time, the POS terminal needs to have the capability of identifying whether the returned message is repeated.
In the embodiment of the invention, each time the service information, namely the processing result, is returned, the routing information, namely the calculated information of the agent POS terminal and the next target machine room information are carried.
And finally, the POS terminal stores the received routing information and returns the transaction processing result to the cashier module.
According to the POS communication method and the POS terminal provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the problem of network fluctuation of a full link (namely the whole communication link from the POS terminal to background service) of a network is improved through a dynamic agent algorithm and a method for dynamically calculating a server-side target machine room. The dynamic agent algorithm refers to an algorithm for dynamically calculating the agent POS terminal when the request is sent each time, and the dynamic agent algorithm is completed by a special calculation agent routing service in a background. The target machine room test paper at the dynamic computation server dynamically computes an algorithm of a background service machine room which receives and processes the request each time. After the dynamic computation background service machine room is added, the repackage of the POS terminal has more paths which can be selected, and the multiple machine rooms are used as nodes and also perform computation in special routing service.
FIG. 9 is a diagram illustrating a POS terminal initialization and real-time calculations, according to an exemplary embodiment.
The real-time routing computation service provided by the routing computation server stores the network condition between the POS terminals and the network condition from the POS terminals to the computer rooms, each POS terminal and the computer room form an interconnected network, the cost (possibly including time cost and possibly flow cost) of network transmission between the nodes is recorded, when a new node (for example, POSN) is added, the node is initially isolated and needs to actively send information to the computer rooms, and the network cost between the POS terminal and the computer rooms can be obtained at this time. In addition, the POS terminal has strict geographical position limitation, and the POS machine can actively send messages to POS terminals (such as POSA, POSB and POSC) with close geographical positions, acquire network transmission cost and report to the real-time routing computing service, so that the newly-added POS terminal is added into the network.
For example, referring to fig. 9, during initialization, when a node POSN is newly added, reporting and sending a probe message to each machine room and each node around the machine room, so as to obtain the network time of the POSN. For example, the network time from POSN to POSA is TNA, the network time from POSN to POSB is TNB, and the network time from POSN to POSC is TNC. Meanwhile, when a plurality of machine rooms exist, the network time from the POSN to the machine room a is Tna, the network time from the POSN to the machine room b is TNb, and the network time from the POSN to the machine room c is TNc. The heartbeat data is updated to the real-time route calculation service. And after the real-time routing calculation service finishes the routing calculation, returning the routing calculation to the POSN.
In the embodiment of the invention, the real-time routing calculation service can also consider the computer room service state, the network transmission effect and other correction influence calculation results. For example, the background server is respectively deployed in three machine rooms, namely, a Yongfeng machine room, a secondary canal machine room and a corridor machine room, and in an extreme case, if the secondary canal machine room has a problem, the network transmission cost from all POS terminals to the secondary canal machine room can be set to be infinite in the real-time routing calculation service, and at this time, the calculated routing information cannot use the secondary canal machine room. Generally, the whole network transmission cost can be adjusted according to the condition of a machine room.
After the time from each POS terminal to the background service of the POS terminal and the transmission time from the POS terminal to each adjacent node are collected, a graph with the POS terminal and the background service of the POS terminal as vertexes and the transmission time as edges is formed. Therefore, the method for solving the initial routing information after a new POS terminal is added can be solved. When a new POS terminal joins the network, the initial routing information for the POS terminal may be calculated by the real-time routing calculation service.
In the communication cost network formed by the POS terminal and the machine room, calculating the optimal path from the POS terminal to the machine room is a typical shortest path algorithm, where the Floyd algorithm is suitable for solving such a problem. In the result of the calculation, the nodes that are traversed in the path are the routes of the POS terminal agent.
In the subsequent transaction request sent by the POS terminal, calculating the optimal path of the POS terminal is a problem of calculating the shortest path from the POS terminal to any one background service.
According to the POS communication method and the POS terminal provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, on one hand, the POS terminal sends requests and receives results through multiple proxy paths, and the network stability is enhanced. On the other hand, the network stability is further enhanced through multi-machine-room deployment and target machine-room calculation. Meanwhile, the optimal agent of the POS terminal is obtained through real-time routing calculation service, and the agent effectiveness is enhanced.
