The body 110 may be configured to include first and second cylindrical body portions 110a and 110 b. The front end of the first body 110a is coupled to the lip 13 of the front frame 10a, and the rear end of the first body 110a is positioned adjacent to the lip 23 of the outer cylinder 20.
The second body portion 110b has a diameter larger than that of the first body portion 110 a. The rear end of the second body 110b is coupled to the lip 23 of the outer cylinder 20, and the front end of the second body 110b is located forward of the rear end of the first body 110 a. Hereinafter, the outer edge 114 of the first body portion 110a is referred to as a first outer edge 114, and the outer edge 116 of the second body portion 110b is referred to as a second outer edge 116.
The rear end of the first body portion 110a and the front end of the second body portion 110b are connected to each other by a connection portion 118. The connection portion 118 has a structure of being bent a plurality of times, thereby effectively attenuating vibration transmitted from the outer cylinder 20 to the case 10 side.
The diaphragm 100 includes a case coupling portion 120 provided on the opening 12 side of the case 10 and an outer cylinder coupling portion 130 provided on the opening 22 side of the outer cylinder 20. That is, a case coupling portion 120 coupled to the front frame 10a of the case 10 is provided at the front end of the first body portion 110a, and an outer cylinder coupling portion 130 is provided at the rear end of the second body portion 110 b.
The case coupling portion 120 includes a case coupling groove 122 provided radially outward of the first outer edge portion 114 and a first fixing groove 124 provided outward of the case coupling groove 122. The case coupling groove 122 is coupled with the lip 13 of the front frame 10a forming the opening 12. A first fixing piece 210 is coupled to the first fixing groove 124 to prevent the separation of the diaphragm 100 from the case 10.
A lip 140 is formed at the front end of the first body 110 a. The lip portion 140 protrudes from the inner surface 115 of the first outer edge portion 114 toward the hollow portion 112, and is formed in an annular shape along the circumferential direction of the first outer edge portion 114. The lip 140 has a front face 142 facing the door 50 and a rear face 144 facing the inner tube 30. When the door 50 of the washing machine 1 is closed, the front face 142 of the lip 140 is in contact with the door frame 54 to be sealed, thereby preventing water from leaking between the door 50 and the front frame 10a of the cabinet 10.
The outer cylinder joint 130 includes a first flange 131 extending from the second outer rim 116 toward the outer cylinder 20 side and a second flange 132 extending from the second outer rim 116 toward the inner cylinder 30 side. The first flange 131 is fixed by the second fixing member 220, and the second flange 132 is fixed by the third fixing member 230.
An outer cylinder coupling groove 133 is formed between the first flange 131 and the second flange 132, and a lip 23 of the outer cylinder 20 forming the opening 22 is coupled to the outer cylinder coupling groove 133.
The lip 23 of the outer cylinder 20 includes a first joint portion 23a on the first flange 131 side and a second joint portion 23b on the second flange 132 side. A second fixing groove 134 coupled to the first coupling portion 23a is formed at an outer surface of the first flange 131, and a second fixing member 220 is coupled to the second fixing groove 134 so as to prevent the separation of the diaphragm 100 from the outer tub 20.
A recess 138 for receiving the second coupling portion 23b of the lip 23 is formed in the inner surface of the second flange 132. In addition, the second flange 132 includes a third fixing groove 136 that receives a portion of the third fixing piece 230.
The second flange 132 includes a first extension 132a extending adjacent to the lip 33 of the inner cylinder 30, a second extension 132b extending rearward from the first extension 132a, and a third extension 132c extending from the second extension 132 b. A notch 138 is formed in the inner surface of the second flange 132 by the first, second, and third extensions 132a, 132b, 132 c. The third fixing groove 136 is formed at an end of the second flange 132 by the second extension portion 132b and the third extension portion 132 c.
A third fixing member 230 is coupled to the third fixing groove 136 such that the interval between the first extension 132a of the second flange 132 and the lip 33 of the inner cylinder 30 is maintained fixed.
The shapes and coupling structures of the first, second, and third fixing members 210, 220, and 230 will be described later.
As shown in fig. 5 and 6, a reinforcing rib 180 for reinforcing the strength of the diaphragm 100 is formed on a side surface of the body 110.
The reinforcing rib 180 is formed by bending at least a part of the first outer edge 114, the second outer edge 116, and the connecting portion 118 in a direction outward of the first outer edge 114, the second outer edge 116, and the connecting portion 118.
As described above, the connection portion 118 has a structure of being bent a plurality of times, thereby effectively preventing vibration transmitted from the outer cylinder 20 to the front frame 10a side of the casing 10. The connection portion 118 converts vibration energy of the outer tube 20 generated by the rotation of the inner tube 30 into heat energy, sound energy, or the like by deformation of its shape, and absorbs the heat energy, the sound energy, or the like. When the outer cylinder 20 vibrates, the connection portion 118 bends around the bending portion, and deforms. The reinforcing ribs 180 reinforce bending stress in a direction in which the connection part 118 is bent, thereby preventing interference (Self-touch) between the connection part 118 and the outer edge portion 114 of the first body part 110a, which may occur when the connection part 118 is bent, so that a phenomenon in which the diaphragm 100 is worn is not caused.
At least two ribs 180 may be disposed separately from each other in the rotational direction of the inner cylinder 30. The ribs 180 are extended and contracted in the circumferential direction r of the diaphragm 100 during the rotation of the inner tube 30, and the vibration in the circumferential direction of the outer tube 20 generated during the rotation of the inner tube 30 is effectively attenuated by the deformation of the extension and contraction of the ribs 180.
The position where the reinforcing bead 180 is formed is not limited. The reinforcing ribs 180 may be formed at least in part of the first outer edge portion 114, the second outer edge portion 116, and/or the connecting portion 118.

The second fixing member 220 fixes the diaphragm 100 from the outside of the outer tub 20 so that the diaphragm 100 is not separated from the outer tub 20. The second fixing member 220 compresses the clamping portion 224 to press and fix the first coupling portion 23a of the lip portion 23 of the outer tube 20 and the first flange 131 of the outer tube coupling portion 130 of the diaphragm 100 inward in the radial direction of the opening 22 of the outer tube 20.
The first fixing element 210 and the second fixing element 220 may be made of metal. The first fixing member 210 may be used to fix the coupled portion of the diaphragm 100 and the outer tub 20, and the second fixing member 220 may be used to fix the coupled portion of the diaphragm 100 and the case 10. In addition, either the first fixing tool 210 or the second fixing tool 220 may be used to fix both the coupling portion between the diaphragm 100 and the outer cylinder 20 and the coupling portion between the diaphragm 100 and the casing 10.
Fig. 9 is a front perspective view of a third fixing element according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is cut away, and fig. 10 is a rear perspective view of a front portion of an outer tube and the third fixing element according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 4 and 9, the third fixture 230 includes a rim portion 232 coupled to the diaphragm 100, and a first fastening portion 234 coupled to the inner cylinder 30. The third fixing member 230 may be formed of various materials, and preferably, may be injection-molded of plastic. The rim portion 232 of the third fixture 230 includes a receiving groove 236 that can receive a portion of the second flange 132 of the septum 100.
Specifically, the rim portion 232 includes an inner flange 232a and an outer flange 232b that form a receiving groove 236 in which an end of the third extension 132c of the second flange 132 of the septum 100 is received. The third fixing groove 136 formed at the end of the second flange 132 by the second extension 132b and the third extension 132c accommodates the inner flange 232a of the rim portion 232 of the third fixing member 230.
In the second flange 132 of the diaphragm 100, a notch 138 is formed to receive the second engaging portion 23b of the lip 23 of the outer cylinder 20. The third fixing member 230 is combined with the third extension 132c to fix the diaphragm 100 to the second combining portion 23b of the lip 23 of the outer cylinder 20 received in the recess 138.
When the washing machine 1 operates, the outer tub 20 may be vibrated by the rotation of the inner tub 30, and the second flange 132 of the diaphragm 100 may be shaken by the vibration of the outer tub 20. The first extension 132a of the second flange 132 extends adjacent to the lip 33 of the inner tub 30, and thus there is a concern that laundry is caught between the first extension 132a and the lip 33 when the vibration of the outer tub 20 causes a large movement.
By fixing the outer cylinder coupling part 130 of the diaphragm 100 from both sides by the second fixing member 220 and the third fixing member 230, the movement of the diaphragm 100 can be effectively restrained.
In particular, the third fixing member 230 fixes the end of the second flange 132 to the inside of the outer cylinder 20, thereby being able to fix the movement of the second flange 132. Therefore, the third fixing member 230 can maintain the interval between the diaphragm 100 and the lip 33 of the inner cylinder 30 fixed.
The second fixing member 220 and the third fixing member 230 fix the diaphragm 100 not only inside and outside the outer cylinder 20 but also in different directions. That is, the second fixing tool 220 presses and fixes the diaphragm 100 to the inside in the radial direction of the opening 22 of the outer cylinder 20, while the third fixing tool 230 presses and fixes the diaphragm 100 to the front side of the outer cylinder 20. Therefore, the rotational movement of the first extension 132a of the second flange 132 of the diaphragm 100 can be more effectively fixed.
Referring to fig. 4, 9 and 10, the outer cylinder 20 includes a second fastening portion 26 to which the third fixing member 230 can be coupled inside. A plurality of second fastening portions 26 may be disposed inside the lip 23 along the opening 22 of the outer cylinder 20.
The first fastening part 234 of the third fixing member 230 and the second fastening part 26 of the outer tub 20 may be provided correspondingly, and the first fastening part 234 and the second fastening part 26 may be coupled by a fastener 240. The fastener 240 may be in various forms such as a bolt, a screw, a rivet, and the like.
The diaphragm and the fixing member according to the present invention are applied to the drum washing machine, but may be applied to a laundry dryer and a washing machine having a drying function.
Furthermore, the scope of the present invention is not limited to the specific embodiments described above. Various other embodiments that can be modified or changed by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit of the technical idea of the present invention described in the scope of protection also belong to the scope of protection of the present invention.
