Technical Field

Background
In the field of storage, most of storage system designs ensure the power supply safety of the storage system through a Battery backup unit (BBU for short). When the storage system is powered off accidentally, the BBU can supply power continuously in the next short time, so that temporary data in the storage system can be written into the hard disk safely and reliably, and the data stability of the storage system is ensured.
For BBUs, the memory system has a requirement: the BBU continuous power supply time, namely a time evaluated by the memory system according to design, can ensure the data reliability of the memory system only if the BBU continuous power supply time meets the requirement of the time. However, BBU also has quality concerns: although the memory system can detect the quality of BBU at system startup, some BBUs become worse and worse after the memory system is used.
Therefore, for such BBUs, the memory system needs to implement a detection means to prevent the BBU from being able to sustain power supply when a true unexpected power failure accident occurs.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of this, the present invention provides a method and a system for detecting an electric storage battery, which can ensure the power supply capability of a storage system, avoid the hidden danger of data loss, and improve the reliability of the storage system. the memory system has reached a fixed period of normal operation.
