Description

Network access control method, access point and access controller
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a network admission control method, an access point, and an access controller.
Background
With the continuous maturity and development of Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) technology, the centralized control type WLAN network (AC + FIT AP architecture) is more and more widely used.
Because the wireless transmission resource of an Access Point (AP) can be shared by multiple wireless Stations (STAs), in order to guarantee the Quality of Service (QoS) of certain specific services, the 802.11 protocol defines an admission mechanism of an infinite local area network (wlan), that is, when a STA initiates a Service requiring bandwidth and delay guarantee, the STA sends an admission control request to the AP to request the AP to configure corresponding bandwidth and delay, and the AP determines whether to accept the admission control request according to the current resource usage. If the request is accepted, the AP allocates specific resources for the request to guarantee QoS for the STA-initiated traffic.
In the prior art, when performing network admission control interaction between an STA and an AP, an admission control request completely depends on initiation of the STA, the STA is required to determine a QoS requirement required by a service initiated by the STA, and the requirement is converted into an admission control request to be sent to the AP.

Fig. 1 is a network configuration diagram of a centralized control type WLAN network in the related art. As shown in fig. 1, the network structure includes a wireless Station (STA), an Access Controller (AC), an Access Point (AP), a Gateway (Gateway), a Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) device, and an application Server (App Server). The AP exists as forwarding plane equipment and is responsible for encrypting, decrypting and forwarding the message; the AC is deployed in a centralized way, exists as control plane equipment, and is mainly responsible for completing control functions, including configuration and management of the AP, completing functions of user authentication, authorization and the like, and maintaining user subscription information; gateway enables connection of the WLAN to external networks, such as the Internet. The DPI equipment can exist independently or be integrated in the Gateway, and specific service types can be positioned by deeply analyzing the content of the packet data packet, so that management policy support is provided; the App Server provides various application services required by the STA.
Fig. 2 is a schematic flowchart of a network admission control method 200 according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the method 200 includes:
the STA sends 210 a first request message to the AP.
Specifically, a first request message sent by the STA to the AP carries an admission control request. If the first request message carries an admission Control request related to an uplink service flow, the admission Control request may include a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate, and a maximum length of a Media Access Control (MAC) layer data unit; if the first request message carries an admission control request related to a downlink service flow, the admission control request includes a flow classification parameter including classification information of the downlink service flow in addition to a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate and a maximum length of an MAC layer data unit.
The AP receives the first request message transmitted by the STA 220 and reports the first request message to the AC.
And 230, the AC receives the first request message sent by the AP, and determines to accept the admission control request carried by the first request message according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule.
Specifically, the AC receives a bearer admission control request in a first request message sent by the AP. And when the first request message is received, determining whether to provide QOS guarantee for a first service flow corresponding to an admission control request carried by the first request message according to user subscription information and/or a service authorization rule, and when determining to provide QOS guarantee for the service flow, calculating the time and the scheduling period of occupying a channel when the service flow is transmitted according to information (mainly according to a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate, a maximum length of an MAC layer data unit and the like) in the admission control request.
And comparing the time of the AP channel occupied by the first service flow transmission with the current idle time of the channel to obtain a comparison result. And determining whether to accept the admission control request carried by the first request message according to the comparison result.
For example, when the comparison result is that the time of the channel occupied by transmitting the first service flow is less than or equal to the current free time of the channel, the admission control request is accepted.
When the comparison result is: the time occupied for transmitting the first traffic flow is obviously longer than the current idle time of the AP channel. At this time, the AC firstly determines whether a second service flow exists, and determines that a second priority level corresponding to the second service flow is lower than a first priority level corresponding to the first service flow, and if so, sends first indication information to the AP, where the first indication information is used to indicate a channel time occupied by the AP to release the second service flow; and after receiving the confirmation information of the time of releasing the channel occupied by the second service flow, which is sent by the AP, receiving the admission control request corresponding to the first service flow.
It should be understood that the second priority level corresponding to the second service flow described above is actually the priority level corresponding to the scheduling rule established by the AC according to the second service flow, and the priority level is stored in the AC after the scheduling rule is established.
Further, in the above description, it is determined that the second priority level corresponding to the second service flow is lower than the first priority level corresponding to the first service flow, and specifically, it should be determined that the priority level of the scheduling rule corresponding to the second service flow is lower than the first priority level.
In addition, it should be noted that the obtained first priority is a first comprehensive priority, and is obtained after determining that QOS guarantee is provided for the first service flow according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule.
The process of specifically acquiring the first integrated priority is as follows:
according to the service authorization rule, the priority level relation corresponding to different service flows can be determined; according to the user subscription information, the priority level relation corresponding to the subscription user can be determined.
When only the service authorization rule exists, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
or, when only the user subscription information is available, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule exist at the same time, the AC integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
In a specific example, the first service stream is a video stream, the transmission rate is 2Mb/s, the maximum delay requirement is 20ms, the maximum length of MAC layer data unit is 1000 bytes, and the maximum transmission rate of the physical layer is 50Mb/s, and the AC can calculate the time of occupying the channel each time the service stream is transmitted as follows:
Figure BDA0001348672790000131
the scheduling period of the service flow is 20ms, that is, the AC may instruct the AP to schedule the service flow once every 20ms, and transmit the service flow in 0.8ms, where the size of the packet transmitted each time is:
0.8ms × 50Mb/s 4000 (bytes) (equation 2-2)
At this time, if the idle time in each current scheduling period of the AP channel is 4ms, that is, the time for transmitting the channel occupied by the first service flow is less than the current idle time of the AP channel, the admission control request corresponding to the service flow may be received.
If the current idle time of the AP channel is 0.5ms, the AC first determines whether a second service flow exists, and determines that the priority level of the scheduling rule corresponding to the second service flow is lower than the first priority level corresponding to the first service flow, for example, determines that the second service flow exists and is a voice service flow, transmits first indication information to the AP, where the first indication information is used to indicate the time for the AP to release the channel occupied by the voice service flow, and receives an admission control request corresponding to the video flow after receiving confirmation information of the time for the AP to release the channel occupied by the voice service flow.
And 240, when the AC determines to accept the service access control request corresponding to the first request message, establishing a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow.
Specifically, when the AC determines to accept the service access control corresponding to the first request message, a scheduling rule corresponding to a first service flow is established, where the first service flow is a service flow corresponding to the admission control request. In the scheduling rule, a scheduling period and a time allocated per scheduling may be included.
Optionally, the scheduling rule may further include a scheduling start time.
In addition, when the AC determines to accept the admission control request corresponding to the first request message, it also needs to determine the information of the user equipment corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the AP allocates the transmission time of the uplink service stream to the user equipment in each scheduling period according to the information of the user equipment, and transmits the transmission time to the user equipment; or determining the information of the downlink service flow corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the AP allocates the sending time for the downlink service flow in each scheduling period according to the information of the downlink service flow, and sends the downlink service flow to the user equipment that determines to download the downlink service flow.
The AC sends the scheduling rule to the AP so that the AP can schedule the traffic flow according to the scheduling rule 250.
At 260, the AP receives the scheduling rule transmitted by the AC.
The AC sends 270 a response message to the AP corresponding to the first request message.
Optionally, the response message may include a scheduling start time and a scheduling period.
280, the AP receives the response message sent by the AC and forwards the response message to the STA.
It should be understood that the AC sending the scheduling rule to the AP in step 250 and the AC sending the response message corresponding to the first request message to the AP in step 270 may also be accomplished by only one step, and similarly, on this basis, steps 260 and 280 may also be accomplished by one step. The specific process is similar and will not be described herein.
It should also be understood that, the scheduling processing of the uplink traffic flow or the downlink traffic flow by the subsequent AP according to the scheduling rule, and the STA uploading or downloading traffic flow are the same as the prior art, and are not described herein again.
It should also be understood that prior to step 210, the method may further comprise: step 205, the AC generates a forwarding principle for configuring the AP.
Specifically, the AC generates a forwarding principle for configuring the AP, and when the request message sent by the STA received by the AP is some specific messages, the AP needs to directly report the request message to the AC for processing according to the forwarding principle configured by the AC, for example, the first request message in this embodiment, when the AP receives the request message, the AP directly reports the request message to the AC, and other non-specific messages are processed by the AP itself.
Or the AP may report directly to the AC process that some specific messages are received according to its own default principles.
Further, after step 240, step 245 may be further included, after the scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow is established, the AC updates the free time of the channel, so that the AC processes other control request information according to the free time of the channel, and the working efficiency is improved.
It should be noted that the spare time of the AC update channel mentioned in step 245 refers to: and after the admission control request is determined to be accepted, establishing a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow, and updating the current residual idle time of the channel after the AC has already allocated the channel time required for transmitting the first service flow.
In the network admission control method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, the AC determines to accept the admission control request carried in the first request message according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule. Establishing a scheduling rule, and sending the scheduling rule to the AP so that the AP performs scheduling transmission on the service flow corresponding to the admission control request; when the AP channel resources are insufficient, the AC can also indicate the channel time occupied by the low-priority service flow released by the AP, and the service quality of the high-priority service flow is preferentially ensured, so that the WLAN network resources are prevented from being abused by unauthorized users or services.
Fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart of another network admission control method 300 according to a second embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, the method 300 includes:
the AC receives a first request message from a network-side device 310, where the network-side device may include a DPI device or an App Server.
And 320, determining to accept the admission control request carried by the first request message according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule.
Specifically, when the AC receives the first request message, it determines whether to provide QOS guarantee for the first service flow corresponding to the admission control request according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, and when it determines to provide QOS guarantee for the service flow, it calculates the time and scheduling period of occupying the channel when transmitting the service flow according to the information in the admission control request (mainly according to the maximum delay requirement, the transmission rate, the maximum length of the MAC layer data unit, and the like).
At this time, the AC first determines whether a second traffic flow exists, and determines that a second priority level corresponding to the second traffic flow is lower than a first priority level corresponding to the first traffic flow. If the second service flow exists, first indication information is sent to the AP, and the first indication information is used for indicating the channel time occupied by the AP for releasing the second service flow; and after receiving the confirmation information of the time of releasing the channel occupied by the second service flow, which is sent by the AP, receiving the admission control request corresponding to the first service flow.
It should be understood that the second priority level corresponding to the second service flow is described above, which is actually the priority level corresponding to the scheduling rule established by the AC according to the second service flow.
When only the service authorization rule exists, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
or, when only the user subscription information is available, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule exist at the same time, the AC integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
Figure BDA0001348672790000171
the scheduling period of the service flow is 20ms, that is, the AC may instruct the AP to schedule the service flow once every 20ms, and transmit the service flow in 0.8ms, where the size of the packet transmitted each time is:
0.8ms × 50Mb/s 4000 (bytes) (equation 3-2)
The implementation of steps 330 to 350 is similar to the implementation of steps 240 to 260 in fig. 2, and for brevity of description, no further description is given here.
It should be noted that, the STA downloads the downlink service flow, and when the admission control request carried by the first request message is a downlink admission control request, the AP performs the processing of the scheduling rule on the downlink service flow according to the scheduling rule, which is similar to the prior art and is not described herein again.
And when the admission control request carried by the first request message is an uplink admission control request, after step 340, the method further includes 345, the AC sending second indication information to the AP, the indication information being used for the AP to send uplink classification information to the wireless station STA.
After step 350, the method further comprises 360, the AP receiving the second indication information and sending the uplink classification information to the wireless station STA according to the indication information.
Specifically, the AP sends a CF _ POLL frame to the STA at a scheduling start time of the uplink service flow, where the CF _ POLL frame carries classification information of the uplink service flow, so that the STA may determine the uplink service flow transmitted at the corresponding channel time according to the classification information, and send the uplink service flow at the specified time according to the instruction of the CF _ POLL frame.
It should be appreciated that in the first embodiment of the present invention, since the first request message is initiated by the STA, the STA has already determined which uplink traffic flows need QOS guarantee, so at the scheduling start time of the uplink traffic flows, the AP does not need to include the uplink classification information in sending the CF _ POLL frame to the STA.
In the network admission control method provided in the second embodiment of the present invention, after determining to receive an admission control request carried in a first request message from a network side device according to user subscription information and/or a service authorization rule, an AC establishes a scheduling rule and sends the scheduling rule to an AP, so that the AP performs scheduling transmission on a first service flow according to the scheduling rule; the AC can also indicate the channel time occupied by the low-priority service flow released by the AP to ensure the service quality of the high-priority service flow, thereby avoiding the misuse of WLAN network resources by unauthorized users or services. In addition, the AC may also obtain, through the network side device, an admission control request carried by the first request message, thereby solving the problem of too strong constraint caused by the admission control completely depending on the STA initiation.
Fig. 4 is a schematic flowchart of a network admission control method 400 according to a third embodiment of the present invention, where the method 400 shown in fig. 4 may be executed by an AC, and the method 400 includes:
and 410, when the access controller AC determines to accept the admission control request according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, establishing a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow.
Specifically, the AC determines whether to provide QOS guarantee for a first service flow corresponding to the admission control request according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, and determines the time for occupying a channel when the first service flow is transmitted when the QOS guarantee is determined to be provided, where the admission control request is carried in a first request message received by the AC.
And comparing the time occupied by the first service flow when being transmitted with the current free time of the channel to obtain a comparison result. And determining to accept the admission control request according to the comparison result.
For example, when the comparison result is: and when the time that the first service flow occupies the channel is less than or equal to the current free time of the channel, the admission control request is accepted.
When the above described comparison results are: the time that the first service flow occupies the channel is longer than the current free time of the channel, at this time, the AC firstly determines whether a second service flow exists, and determines that a second priority level corresponding to the second service flow is lower than a first priority level corresponding to the first service flow, if so, first indication information is sent to the AP, and the first indication information is used for indicating the AP to release the time that the second service flow occupies the channel; and receiving the admission control request after receiving the confirmation information of the time for releasing the channel occupied by the second service flow, which is sent by the AP.
It should be understood that the second priority level corresponding to the second service flow is described above, which is actually the priority level corresponding to the scheduling rule established by the AC according to the second service flow.
When only the service authorization rule exists, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
or, when only the user subscription information is available, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule exist at the same time, the AC integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
Specifically, when the admission control request is determined to be accepted, a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow is established. The scheduling rule may include a scheduling period and a time allocated for each scheduling.
Optionally, the scheduling rule may further include a scheduling start time.
In addition, when the AC determines to accept the admission control request, it also needs to determine the information of the user equipment corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the AP allocates the transmission time of the uplink service flow to the user equipment in each scheduling period according to the information of the user equipment, and transmits the transmission time to the user equipment; or determining the information of the downlink service flow corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the AP allocates the sending time for the downlink service flow in each scheduling period according to the information of the downlink service flow, and sends the downlink service flow to the user equipment that determines to download the downlink service flow.
And 420, sending the scheduling rule to the AP so that the AP can schedule the traffic flow according to the scheduling rule.
It should be noted that the admission control request may be sent by the AP or sent by the network side device.
It should be understood that, according to step 410, the admission control request is carried in the first request message, that is, the AP or the network side device sends the first request message, and the admission control request is carried in the request message.
Therefore, if the AC receives the first request message sent by the AP in step 410, before step 410, the method may further include: step 405, the AC generates a forwarding principle for configuring the AP, and when the AP receives the request message as some specific messages, the AP needs to directly report the request message to the AC for processing according to the forwarding principle configured by the AC, for example, the first request message in this embodiment, when the AP receives the request message, the AP directly reports the request message to the AC, and other non-specific messages are processed by the AP itself.
Or the AP may report directly to the AC process that some specific messages are received according to its own default principles.
In step 410, if the AC receives the first request message sent by the network side device and the admission control request carried by the first request message is an uplink admission control request, after step 420, the method may further include: 430, sending second indication information to the AP, where the second indication information is used for the AP to send the uplink classification information to the wireless workstation STA, and a specific flowchart is shown in fig. 4.
It should be understood that the existence of step 405 and step 430 is dependent on the source of the first request message received by the AC, and that only one of these two situations exists, and although both are shown in fig. 4, they will generally not occur simultaneously.
Therefore, in the network admission control method provided by the third embodiment of the present invention, the AC determines whether to provide quality of service guarantee according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, and determines whether to accept the admission control request on the premise of determining to provide the quality of service guarantee. When the admission control request is determined to be accepted, the AP is instructed to establish the scheduling rule, so that the misuse of WLAN network resources by unauthorized users or services is avoided.
As another embodiment (embodiment four) of the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, after step 410, the method may further include: step 415, after the scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow is established, the free time of the channel is updated. So that the AC can process other admission control requests according to the free time of the channel, thereby improving the work efficiency. Other steps are the same as those in the third embodiment, and are not described again here.
It should be noted that the spare time for updating the channel mentioned in step 415 refers to: and after the AC determines to receive the admission control request, establishing a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow, and updating the current residual idle time of the channel after the AC allocates the channel time required for transmitting the first service flow.
Fig. 5 is an interaction flowchart of another network admission control method 500 according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 5, the main network elements in the network structure specifically execute the following steps:
the STA sends 510 a first request message to the AP.
Specifically, the first request message carries an admission control request. If the first request message carries an admission control request related to an uplink service flow, the admission control request may include a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate and a maximum length of an MAC layer data unit; if the first request message carries an admission control request related to a downlink traffic flow, the admission control request includes a flow classification parameter including classification information of the downlink traffic flow in addition to a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate and a maximum length of an MAC layer data unit.
520, the AP receives a first request message sent by the STA and reports the first request message to the AC;
and 530, the AC receives the first request message sent by the AP, and determines to send a resource request message to the AP according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule.
Specifically, it is determined whether to provide service quality guarantee according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, because only a subscription user or a specific service flow can obtain service quality guarantee, when the AC receives the first request message, it needs to determine whether the service flow corresponding to the admission control request carried by the first request message conforms to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, that is, whether to provide service quality guarantee, and when it is determined to provide service quality guarantee, it sends a resource request message to the AP; otherwise, not sending a resource request message, wherein the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to a first service flow, the admission control request includes parameter information, and the first service flow is a service flow corresponding to the admission control request.
The parameter information includes a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate and a maximum length of an MAC layer data unit. So that the AP can determine whether the current free time of the channel satisfies the admission control request according to the parameter information, and establish a scheduling rule corresponding to a first service flow when the current free time of the channel satisfies the admission control request, where the first service flow is a service flow corresponding to the admission control request.
And the obtained first priority is a first comprehensive priority and is obtained after the AC determines to provide QOS guarantee for the first service flow according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule.
The process of specifically acquiring the first integrated priority is as follows:
the AC can determine the priority level relation corresponding to different service flows according to the service authorization rule; according to the user subscription information, the priority level relation corresponding to the subscription user can be determined.
When only the service authorization rule exists, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
or, when only the user subscription information is available, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule exist at the same time, the AC integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
Optionally, the resource request message may further include a lowest physical layer rate for transmitting the service flow. The method aims to ensure that the service quality of the service flow can be ensured under the worst channel condition if the calculation is carried out according to the lowest physical layer rate when the time of a channel required for transmitting the first service flow is calculated under the condition that a user supports various physical layer rates.
Further optionally, a time constraint for transmitting the first traffic flow may be further included in the resource request message, so as to enable the AP to establish the scheduling rule within a specified time, for example, to establish the scheduling rule corresponding to the traffic flow within 50 ms.
In addition, the resource request message may further include information of the user equipment corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the AP allocates the transmission time of the uplink service flow to the user equipment in each scheduling period according to the information of the user equipment, and transmits the transmission time to the user equipment; or the information of the downlink service flow corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the AP distributes sending time for the downlink service flow in each scheduling period according to the information of the downlink service flow and sends the downlink service flow to the user equipment which determines to download the downlink service flow.
The AP receives 540 the resource request message sent by the AC.
Specifically, the content included in the resource request message is the same as that described in step 530, and for brevity of description, no further description is given here.
And 550, the AP determines whether the current free time of the channel meets the admission control request according to the parameter information.
Specifically, the AP determines, according to the above-described parameter information (mainly according to a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate, a maximum length of a MAC layer data unit, and the like in the parameter information), a time and a scheduling period occupied by a channel when transmitting the first service flow. And comparing the time of the AP channel occupied when the first service flow is transmitted with the current idle time of the channel to obtain a comparison result. And determining whether the current idle time of the AP channel meets the admission control request or not according to the comparison result.
For example, when the comparison result is that the time for transmitting the first traffic flow to occupy the channel is less than or equal to the current free time of the channel, it may be determined that the current free time of the channel satisfies the admission control request.
And when the comparison result shows that the time of the first service flow occupying the channel is greater than the current free time of the channel, determining that the current free time of the channel does not satisfy the admission control request, and releasing the channel time occupied by transmitting the current service flow by the AP so as to satisfy the requirement of the admission control request, wherein the priority level corresponding to the current service flow is lower than the first priority level.
It should be noted that the current service flow is a service flow currently occupying the channel time in the AP, the priority level corresponding to the service flow may be considered as a priority level of a scheduling rule established by the AP according to the service flow, the priority level of the scheduling rule is already stored in the AP, and the priority level corresponding to the scheduling rule is lower than the priority level corresponding to the first service flow.
For example: in a specific example, the first service stream is a video stream, the transmission rate is 2Mb/s, the maximum delay requirement is 20ms, the maximum length of MAC layer data unit is 1000 bytes, and the maximum transmission rate of the physical layer is 50Mb/s, and the AC can calculate the time of occupying the channel each time the service stream is transmitted as follows:
Figure BDA0001348672790000241
the scheduling period of the service flow is 20ms, that is, the AC may instruct the AP to schedule the service flow once every 20ms, and transmit the service flow in 0.8ms, where the size of the packet transmitted each time is:
0.8ms × 50Mb/s 4000 (bytes) (equation 5-2)
At this time, if the idle time in each current period of the AP channel is 4ms, that is, the time for transmitting the channel occupied by the first service flow is less than the current idle time of the AP channel, that is, it can be determined that the current idle time of the channel satisfies the admission control request.
If the current free time of the AP channel is 0.5ms, that is, the current free time of the channel cannot satisfy the admission control request, the AP will release the channel time occupied by transmitting the voice service stream currently occupying the AP channel, so as to satisfy the admission control request corresponding to the video stream, wherein the priority level of the scheduling rule corresponding to the voice service stream is lower than the priority level corresponding to the video stream.
560, when the AP determines that the current free time of the channel satisfies the admission control request, a scheduling rule corresponding to the first traffic flow is established.
Specifically, when the AP determines that the current free time of the channel satisfies the admission control request, a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow is established, so as to schedule the service flow. The scheduling rule may include a scheduling period and a time allocated for each scheduling.
Optionally, the scheduling rule may further include a scheduling start time.
570, the AP sends a reply message to the AC.
Specifically, after the AP establishes the scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow, the AP may send the response information to the AC. Optionally, the response message may include a scheduling start time and a scheduling period.
Further optionally, the scheduling start time included in the acknowledgement message needs to satisfy the time constraint for transmitting the first traffic flow introduced in step 540. If the parameter information in step 540 does not include the time constraint, the AP may determine the scheduling start time by itself.
At 580, the AC sends a response message corresponding to the first request message to the AP.
Specifically, the response message sent by the AC to the AP may include a scheduling start time and a scheduling period, so that the AP forwards the response message to the STA.
It should be understood that the scheduling processing of the subsequent AP on the uplink traffic flow or the downlink traffic flow according to the scheduling rule, and the STA uploading or downloading traffic flow are equivalent to the prior art, and are not described herein again.
It should also be understood that prior to step 510, the method may further comprise: step 505, the AC generates a forwarding principle for configuring the AP.
Specifically, the AC generates a forwarding principle for configuring the AP, and when the AP receives that the request message sent by the STA is some specific messages, the AP needs to directly report the request message to the AC for processing according to the forwarding principle configured by the AC, for example, the first request message in this embodiment, when the AP receives the request message, the AP directly reports the request message to the AC, and other non-specific messages are processed by the AP itself.
Or the AP may report directly to the AC process that some specific messages are received according to its own default principles.
Further, after step 560, step 565 may be further included, after the scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow is established, the AP updates the free time of the channel, so that the AP processes other control request information according to the free time of the channel, and the work efficiency is improved.
It should be noted that the spare time for the AP to update the channel mentioned in step 565 refers to: and establishing a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow, and updating the remaining idle time of the current channel after allocating the channel time required for transmitting the first service flow.
It should be understood that the scheduling processing of the subsequent AP on the uplink traffic flow or the downlink traffic flow according to the scheduling rule, and the STA uploading or downloading traffic flow are equivalent to the prior art, and are not described herein again.
In the network admission control method provided by the fifth embodiment of the present invention, the AC determines to provide quality of service guarantee according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, and sends a resource request message to the AP, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to the first service flow. The AP establishes a scheduling rule when determining that the current free time of the channel meets the admission control request according to the parameter information in the admission control request, and can release the channel time occupied by the current low-priority service flow to guarantee the service quality of the high-priority service flow under the condition that the free time of the current channel is insufficient, thereby avoiding the misuse of WLAN network resources by unauthorized users or services.
Fig. 6 is an interaction diagram of another network admission control method 600 according to a sixth embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 6, the method 600 includes:
the AC receives the first request message from a network-side device 610, where the network-side device may include a DPI device or an App Server.
And 620, determining to send a resource request message to the AP according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule.
When only the service authorization rule exists, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
or, when only the user subscription information is available, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule exist at the same time, the AC integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
Optionally, the resource request message may further include a lowest physical layer rate for transmitting the first service flow.
Steps 630 to 660 are similar to the embodiments of steps 540 to 570 in the above embodiments, and are not described again here.
It should be noted that, the STA downloads the downlink service flow, and performs the processing of the scheduling rule on the downlink service flow according to the scheduling rule when the admission control request carried by the first request message is the downlink admission control request, which is not described herein again in the same way as in the prior art.
And when the admission control request carried by the first request message is an uplink admission control request, after step 660, the method further includes 670, the AC sending indication information to the AP, the indication information being used for the AP to send uplink classification information to the wireless station STA.
And step 680, the AP receives the indication information and sends the uplink flow classification information to the STA.
Specifically, when the admission control request carried by the first request message is an uplink admission control request, the AP carries classification information of an uplink service flow to the ST CF _ POLL frame at a scheduling start time of the uplink service flow, so that the STA can determine the uplink service flow transmitted at a corresponding channel time according to the classification information and transmit the uplink service flow at a designated time according to an indication of the CF _ POLL frame.
It should be appreciated that in the fifth embodiment of the present invention, since the first request message is initiated by the STA, which has already determined which uplink traffic flows need QOS guarantee, the AP does not need to include the uplink classification information in sending the CF _ POLL frame to the STA at the scheduling start time of the uplink traffic flows.
In the network admission control method provided by the sixth embodiment of the present invention, the AC determines to provide quality of service guarantee according to the user subscription information or the service authorization rule, and sends a resource request message to the AP, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to the first service flow. The AP establishes a scheduling rule when determining that the current free time of the channel meets the admission control request according to the parameter information in the admission control request, and if the current free channel time is insufficient, the AP can also ensure the service quality of the high-priority service flow by releasing the channel time occupied by the current low-priority service flow, thereby avoiding the misuse of WLAN network resources by unauthorized users or services. In addition, the AC can also obtain the admission control request carried by the first request message through the network side equipment, thereby solving the problem of over-strong constraint caused by the fact that the admission control completely depends on the initiation of the STA
Fig. 7 is a flowchart of another network admission control method 700 according to a seventh embodiment of the present invention, where the method shown in fig. 7 may be executed by an AP, where the method 700 includes:
the access point AP receives 710 the resource request message sent by the access controller AC.
Specifically, the AP receives a resource request message sent by the AC, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to a first service flow, where the admission control request includes parameter information, and the first service flow is a service flow corresponding to the admission control request.
The parameter information includes a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate and a maximum length of an MAC layer data unit. So as to determine whether the current free time of the channel satisfies the admission control request according to the parameter information.
When only the service authorization rule exists, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
or, when only the user subscription information is available, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule exist at the same time, the AC integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
Optionally, the resource request message may further include a lowest physical layer rate for transmitting the first service flow, so as to ensure that the service quality of the service flow can be guaranteed in the worst channel condition if the time for transmitting the channel required for transmitting the first service flow is calculated according to the lowest physical layer rate when the user supports multiple physical layer rates.
And 720, determining whether the current spare time of the channel meets the admission control request according to the parameter information.
Specifically, the AP determines, according to the above-described parameter information (mainly according to a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate, a maximum length of a MAC layer data unit, and the like in the parameter information), a time and a scheduling period occupied by a channel when transmitting the first service flow. And comparing the occupied channel time when the first service flow is transmitted with the current vacant channel time to obtain a comparison result. And determining whether the current idle time of the AP channel meets the admission control request or not according to the comparison result.
730, when it is determined that the current free time of the channel satisfies the admission request, a scheduling rule corresponding to the first traffic flow is established.
Specifically, when the comparison result is that the time for transmitting the first service flow to occupy the channel is less than or equal to the current free time of the channel, it may be determined that the current free time of the channel satisfies the requirement of the admission control request. A scheduling rule corresponding to the first traffic flow is established to schedule the traffic flow.
740, when it is determined that the current free time of the channel does not satisfy the admission control request, releasing the time for transmitting the current service flow to occupy the channel according to the first priority level.
Specifically, when the comparison result shows that the time that the first service flow occupies the channel is longer than the current free time of the channel, the AP releases the channel time occupied by transmitting the current service flow according to the first priority level, so as to meet the requirement of the admission control request, wherein the priority level corresponding to the current service flow is lower than the first priority level.
It should be noted that the current service flow is a service flow currently occupying the channel time in the AP, and the priority level corresponding to the service flow may be considered as a priority level of a scheduling rule established by the AP according to the service flow, and the priority level of the scheduling rule is already stored in the AP.
It should be noted that, when the admission control request is an uplink admission control request, the method further includes: 750, receiving indication information sent by the AC; and sending the uplink flow classification information to the wireless working station STA according to the indication information.
According to the network admission control method provided by the seventh embodiment of the present invention, a resource request message sent by an AC is received, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority corresponding to a first service flow, and when it is determined that the current free time of a channel satisfies the admission control request according to parameter information in the admission control request, a scheduling rule is established to schedule and transmit the service flow corresponding to the admission control request; if the current channel time is insufficient, the AP can also guarantee the service quality of the high-priority service flow by releasing the channel time occupied by the current low-priority service flow, thereby avoiding the WLAN network resources from being abused by unauthorized users or services.
As another embodiment (embodiment eight) of the present invention, as shown in fig. 7, after step 740, the method may further include: step 745, after establishing the scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow, the AP updates the free time of the channel so as to process other admission control requests according to the free time of the channel, thereby improving the working efficiency. Other steps are the same as those in the seventh embodiment, and are not described herein again.
It should be noted that the spare time for updating the channel by the AP mentioned in step 745 refers to: and establishing a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow, and updating the remaining idle time of the current channel after allocating the channel time required for transmitting the first service flow.
Fig. 8 is a flowchart of another network admission control method 800 according to a ninth embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 8, the method 800 may be executed by an AC:
the access controller AC determines to send a resource request message to the access point AP according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule 810.
Specifically, the AC determines whether to provide quality of service guarantee for the first service flow corresponding to the admission control request according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, because only the subscription user or a specific service flow can obtain the quality of service guarantee. Therefore, the AC needs to determine whether the service flow corresponding to the admission control request conforms to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, that is, whether service quality guarantee needs to be provided, and when it is determined that the service quality guarantee is provided, sends a resource request message to the AP; otherwise, not sending a resource request message, wherein the resource request message comprises an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to the first service flow, and the admission control request comprises parameter information.
The parameter information includes a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate and a maximum length of an MAC layer data unit, so that the AP can determine whether a current free time of a channel satisfies an admission control request according to the parameter information, and establish a scheduling rule corresponding to a first service flow, where the first service flow is a service flow corresponding to the admission control request.
It should be noted that the obtained first priority is a first comprehensive priority, and is obtained after the AC determines, according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, to provide QOS for the first service flow. Specifically, the process of generating the first integrated priority is as follows:
the AC can determine the priority level relation corresponding to different service flows according to the service authorization rule; according to the user subscription information, the priority level relation corresponding to the subscription user can be determined.
When only the service authorization rule exists, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
or, when only the user subscription information is available, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule exist at the same time, the AC integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
Further, the admission control request is sent by the AP or the network side device.
It should be understood that the admission control request is actually carried in the first request message received by the AC. That is, what the AC actually receives is the first request message sent by the AP or the first request message sent by the network side device, and the request message carries the admission control request.
Therefore, if the AC receives the first request message sent by the AP, before step 810, the method may further include: step 805, the AC generates forwarding principles that configure the AP. When the request message received by the AP is some specific messages, it needs to be directly reported to the AC for processing according to the forwarding principle configured by the AC, for example, the first request message in this embodiment, when the AP receives the request message, it directly reports to the AC, and other non-specific messages are processed by the AP itself.
Or the AP may report directly to the AC process that some specific messages are received according to its own default principles.
In step 810, if the AC receives the first request message sent by the network side device and the admission control request carried by the first request message is an uplink admission control request, the method may further include: 820, sending indication information to the AP, where the indication information is used for the AP to send the uplink flow classification information to the wireless station STA, and the specific flow is as shown in fig. 8.
It should be understood that the existence of steps 805 and 820 is dependent on the source of the first request message received by the AC, and that there can be only one of these cases, and although both are shown in fig. 8, they will generally not occur at the same time.
In the network admission control method provided by the ninth embodiment of the present invention, the AC determines to provide quality of service guarantee according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, and sends a resource request message to the AP, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to the first service flow, so that the AP can determine, according to parameter information in the admission control request, that the current free time of a channel satisfies the admission control request, and establish a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow, thereby avoiding misuse of WLAN network resources by unauthorized users or services.
Fig. 9 is a schematic structural diagram of an admission control apparatus according to a tenth embodiment of the present invention, which mainly aims at an access controller AC, and as shown in fig. 9, the admission control apparatus includes: a processing unit 901 and a transmitting unit 902.
The processing unit 901 is configured to establish a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow when determining to accept the admission control request according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule. Specifically, the processing unit 901 determines whether to provide QOS guarantee for the first service flow corresponding to the admission control request according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, and determines the time of occupying the channel when transmitting the first service flow when determining to provide QOS guarantee.
And comparing the time of occupying the channel when the first service flow is transmitted with the current free time of the channel to obtain a comparison result, and determining to accept the admission control request according to the comparison result.
For example, when the comparison result is: and when the time that the first service flow occupies the channel is less than or equal to the current free time of the channel, the admission control request is accepted.
When the above described comparison results are: the time that the first service flow occupies the channel is longer than the current free time of the channel, at this time, the processing unit 901 first determines whether the second service flow exists, and determines that the second priority level corresponding to the second service flow is lower than the first priority level corresponding to the first service flow, if the second priority level exists, the sending unit 902 is used to send first indication information to the AP, and the first indication information is used to indicate the time that the AP releases the channel occupied by the second service flow.
Optionally, the apparatus may further include a receiving unit 903, configured to receive acknowledgement information of the time when the second service flow occupies the channel, which is sent by the AP, is released, and then send the acknowledgement information to the processing unit 901, where the processing unit 901 receives the admission control request according to the acknowledgement information.
It should be understood that the second priority level corresponding to the second service flow described above is actually the priority level corresponding to the scheduling rule established by the processing unit 901 according to the second service flow. Further, the processing unit 901 described above determines that the second priority level corresponding to the second service flow is lower than the first priority level corresponding to the first service flow, and specifically, should determine that the priority level of the scheduling rule corresponding to the second service flow is lower than the first priority level.
In addition, it should be noted that the obtained first priority is a first comprehensive priority, and is obtained after the processing unit 901 determines to provide QOS guarantee for the first service flow according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule. The process of specifically acquiring the first integrated priority is as follows:
according to the service authorization rule, the priority level relation corresponding to different service flows can be determined; according to the user subscription information, the priority level relation corresponding to the subscription user can be determined.
When there is only a service authorization rule, the processing unit 901 may use a priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
alternatively, when only the user subscription information is available, the processing unit 901 may use the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule coexist, the processing unit 901 integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
Specifically, when the admission control request is determined to be accepted, a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow is established. The scheduling rule may include a scheduling period and a time allocated for each scheduling.
Optionally, the scheduling rule may further include a scheduling start time.
In addition, when the processing unit 901 determines to accept the admission control request corresponding to the first request message, it also needs to determine the information of the user equipment corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the AP allocates the transmission time of the uplink service flow to the user equipment in each scheduling period according to the information of the user equipment, and transmits the transmission time to the user equipment; or determining the information of the downlink service flow corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the AP allocates the sending time for the downlink service flow in each scheduling period according to the information of the downlink service flow, and sends the downlink service flow to the user equipment that determines to download the downlink service flow.
Optionally, the processing unit 901 is further configured to update the free time of the channel after the scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow is established. So that the processing unit can process other admission control requests according to the free time of the channel, thereby improving the working efficiency.
It should be noted that, the spare time of the update channel mentioned herein refers to: after the processing unit determines to accept the admission control request, a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow is established, and after the channel time required for transmitting the first service flow is allocated, the current remaining idle time of the channel is updated.
The sending unit 902 is further configured to send the scheduling rule to the AP, so that the AP can schedule the traffic flow according to the scheduling rule.
It should be noted that the admission control request may be sent by the AP or sent by the network side device.
It should be understood that the receiving unit 903 is further configured to receive the first request message, where the admission control request is actually carried in the first request message received by the receiving unit 903, that is, the first request message sent by the AP or the first request message sent by the network side device is received by the receiving unit 903, and the admission control request is carried in the first request message.
Therefore, when the first request message received by the receiving unit 903 is a first request message transmitted through an AP, the apparatus further includes: a configuration unit 904 for generating a forwarding principle for configuring the AP.
When the first request message received by the receiving unit 903 is a first request message sent by a network side device, and an admission control request carried by the first request message is an uplink admission control request, the sending unit 902 is further configured to: sending second indication information to the AP, where the second indication information is used for the AP to send uplink flow classification information to the wireless workstation STA, and a specific flowchart is shown in fig. 9.
It should be understood that there can be only one instance of the source of the request message received by the receiving unit 903 at the same time. It is generally unlikely that both will occur simultaneously, and therefore subsequent actions taken in accordance with the source of the received message are also alternative and correspond one-to-one to the source of the received message.
Therefore, in the network admission control apparatus provided in the tenth embodiment of the present invention, the processing unit determines whether to provide quality of service guarantee according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, and determines whether to accept the admission control request on the premise of determining that the quality of service guarantee is provided. When the admission control request is determined to be accepted, the AP is instructed to establish the scheduling rule, so that the misuse of WLAN network resources by unauthorized users or services is avoided.
Fig. 10 is a schematic structural diagram of an admission control apparatus according to an eleventh embodiment of the present invention, where the apparatus is mainly for an access point AP, and as shown in fig. 10, the admission control apparatus includes: a receiving unit 1001 and a processing unit 1002.
A receiving unit 1001, configured to receive a resource request message sent by an access controller AC.
Specifically, the receiving unit 1001 receives a resource request message sent by an AC, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to a first traffic flow, where the admission control request includes parameter information, and the first traffic flow is a traffic flow corresponding to the admission control request.
The parameter information includes a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate and a maximum length of an MAC layer data unit. So that the processing unit 1002 determines whether the current free time of the channel satisfies the admission control request according to the parameter information.
When only the service authorization rule exists, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
or, when only the user subscription information is available, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule exist at the same time, the AC integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
Further optionally, a time constraint for transmitting the first service flow may be further included in the resource request message, so as to enable the processing unit 1002 to establish the scheduling rule within a specified time, for example, to establish the scheduling rule corresponding to the service flow within 50 ms.
In addition, the resource request message may further include information of the user equipment corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the processing unit 1002 allocates the transmission time of the uplink service flow to the user equipment in each scheduling period according to the information of the user equipment, and transmits the transmission time to the user equipment; or the information of the downlink service flow corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the processing unit 1002 allocates the sending time for the downlink service flow in each scheduling period according to the information of the downlink service flow, and sends the downlink service flow to the user equipment which determines to download the downlink service flow.
The processing unit 1002 is configured to determine whether the free time of the current channel meets the admission control request according to the parameter information.
Specifically, the processing unit 1002 determines the time and the scheduling period occupied by the channel when the first service flow is transmitted according to the above-described parameter information (mainly according to the maximum delay requirement, the transmission rate, the maximum length of the MAC layer data unit, and the like in the parameter information). And comparing the occupied channel time when the first service flow is transmitted with the current vacant channel time to obtain a comparison result. And determining whether the current idle time of the AP channel meets the admission control request or not according to the comparison result.
When the comparison result is that the time for transmitting the first service flow to occupy the channel is less than or equal to the current free time of the channel, it can be determined that the current free time of the channel meets the requirement of the admission control request. A scheduling rule corresponding to the first traffic flow is established to schedule the traffic flow.
When the comparison result shows that the time that the first service flow occupies the channel is greater than the current free time of the channel, the processing unit 1002 will release the channel time occupied by transmitting the current service flow according to the first priority level, so as to meet the requirement of the admission control request, where the priority level corresponding to the current service flow is lower than the first priority level.
It should be noted that the current service flow is a service flow currently occupying the channel time in the AP, and the priority level corresponding to the service flow may be considered as the priority level of the scheduling rule established by the processing unit 1002 according to the service flow, and the priority level of the scheduling rule is already stored in the AP.
Optionally, after the scheduling rule is established, the processing unit 1002 is further configured to update the free time of the channel.
So that the processing unit 1002 can process other admission control requests according to the free time of the channel, thereby improving the working efficiency.
It should be noted that, the spare time of the update channel mentioned herein refers to: the processing unit updates the current remaining idle time of the channel after establishing the scheduling rule and allocating the channel time required for transmitting the first service flow.
It should be noted that, when the admission control request is an uplink admission control request, the receiving unit 1001 is further configured to receive indication information sent by an AC.
At this time, the apparatus may further include a transmitting unit 1003, where the transmitting unit 1003 is configured to transmit the uplink classification information to the wireless station STA according to the indication information.
Specifically, the sending unit 1003 sends a CF _ POLL frame to the STA at the scheduling start time of the uplink service flow, where the CF _ POLL frame carries the classification information of the uplink service flow, so that the STA can determine the uplink service flow transmitted at the corresponding channel time according to the classification information, and send the uplink service flow at the specified time according to the instruction of the CF _ POLL frame.
In the network admission control device provided in the eleventh embodiment of the present invention, a receiving unit receives a resource request message sent by an AC, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority corresponding to a first service flow, and a processing unit determines, according to parameter information in the admission control request, that a current free time of a channel satisfies the admission control request, and establishes a scheduling rule to schedule and transmit the service flow corresponding to the admission control request; if the current channel time is insufficient, the processing unit can also guarantee the service quality of the high-priority service flow by releasing the channel time occupied by the current low-priority service flow, thereby avoiding the misuse of WLAN network resources by unauthorized users or services.
Fig. 11 is a schematic structural diagram of an admission control apparatus according to a twelfth embodiment of the present invention, which is mainly for an access controller AC, and as shown in fig. 11, the admission control apparatus includes: a processing unit 1101, a transmitting unit 1102;
the processing unit 1101 is configured to determine to send a resource request message to the access point AP according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule.
Specifically, the processing unit 1101 determines whether to provide quality of service guarantee for the first service flow corresponding to the admission control request according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, because only a subscriber or a specific service flow can obtain the quality of service guarantee, the processing unit 1101 needs to determine whether the service flow corresponding to the admission control request conforms to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, that is, whether to provide the quality of service guarantee, and when it is determined that the quality of service guarantee is provided, the sending unit 1102 is used to send the resource request message to the AP; otherwise, the sending unit 1102 does not send a resource request message, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to the first service flow, where the admission control request includes parameter information.
It should be noted that the obtained first priority is a first comprehensive priority, and is obtained after the processing unit 1101 determines, according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, to provide QOS for the first service flow. Specifically, the process of generating the first integrated priority is as follows:
the processing unit 1101 may determine priority level relationships corresponding to different service flows according to the service authorization rule; according to the user subscription information, the priority level relation corresponding to the subscription user can be determined.
When there is only a service authorization rule, the processing unit 1101 may use a priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
alternatively, when only the user subscription information is available, the processing unit 1101 may use the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule coexist, the processing unit 1101 integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
It should be noted that the admission control request may be sent by the AP or sent by the network side device.
It should be understood that the apparatus may further include a receiving unit 1103, configured to receive the first request message, where the admission control request is actually carried in the first request message received by the receiving unit 1103, that is, the first request message sent by the AP or the first request message sent by the network-side device is received by the receiving unit 1103, and the admission control request is carried in the first request message.
If the receiving unit 1103 receives the first request message sent by the AP, the apparatus further includes a configuration unit 1104, configured to generate a forwarding rule for configuring the AP. When the request message received by the AP is some specific messages, it needs to be directly reported to the AC for processing according to the forwarding principle configured by the configuration unit 1104, for example, the first request message in this embodiment, when the AP receives the request message, the AP directly reports to the AC, and other non-specific messages are processed by the AP itself.
Or the AP may report directly to the AC process that some specific messages are received according to its own default principles.
In addition, if the receiving unit 1103 receives the first request message sent by the network side device, and the admission control request carried by the first request message is an uplink admission control request, the sending unit 1102 is further configured to send indication information to the AP, where the indication information is used for the AP to send uplink flow classification information to the wireless station STA, and a specific flow is shown in fig. 11.
It should be understood that there can be only one instance of the source of the request message received by the receiving unit 1103 at the same time. It is generally unlikely that both will occur simultaneously, and therefore subsequent actions taken in accordance with the source of the received message are also alternative and correspond one-to-one to the source of the received message.
In the schematic structural diagram of a network admission control apparatus provided in the twelfth embodiment of the present invention, a processing unit determines to provide quality of service guarantee according to user subscription information and/or a service authorization rule, and sends a resource request message to an AP by using a sending unit, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to a first service flow, so that the AP can determine, according to parameter information in the admission control request, that a current free time of a channel satisfies the admission control request, and establish a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow, thereby avoiding misuse of WLAN network resources by an unauthorized user or a service.
Fig. 12 is a schematic structural diagram of an access controller according to a thirteenth embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 12, the access controller includes: a processor 1201 and a transmitter 1202;
the processor 1201 establishes a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow when determining to accept the admission control request according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule.
Specifically, the processor 1201 determines, according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, whether to provide QOS for the first service flow corresponding to the admission control request, and determines, when it is determined that QOS is provided, a time for occupying a channel when the first service flow is transmitted.
When the above described comparison results are: when the time that the first service flow occupies the channel is longer than the current free time of the channel, the processor 1201 first determines whether a second service flow exists, and determines that a second priority level corresponding to the second service flow is lower than a first priority level corresponding to the first service flow. If the second traffic stream exists, the transmitter 1202 is notified, so that the transmitter 1202 transmits first indication information to the AP, where the first indication information is used to indicate the time for the AP to release the channel occupied by the second traffic stream.
Optionally, the access controller may further include a receiver 1203, configured to send acknowledgement information to the processor 1201 after receiving the acknowledgement information, sent by the AP, of the time when the channel occupied by the second service flow is released, so that the processor 1201 receives the admission control request according to the acknowledgement information.
It should be understood that the second priority level corresponding to the second service flow is described above, and is actually the priority level corresponding to the scheduling rule established by the processor 1201 according to the second service flow. Further, the processor 1201 introduced above determines that a second priority level corresponding to the second service flow is lower than a first priority level corresponding to the first service flow, and specifically, determines that a priority level of a scheduling rule corresponding to the second service flow is lower than the first priority level.
In addition, it should be noted that the obtained first priority is a first comprehensive priority, and is obtained after the processor 1201 determines, according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, to provide QOS for the first service flow.
The process of specifically acquiring the first integrated priority is as follows:
according to the service authorization rule, the priority level relation corresponding to different service flows can be determined; according to the user subscription information, the priority level relation corresponding to the subscription user can be determined.
When only the service authorization rule exists, the processor 1201 may take the priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
or, when only the user subscription information is available, the processor 1201 may take the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule coexist, the processor 1201 integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
Specifically, when the admission control request is determined to be accepted, a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow is established. The scheduling rule may include a scheduling period and a time allocated for each scheduling.
Optionally, the scheduling rule may further include a scheduling start time.
In addition, when the processor 1201 determines to accept the admission control request, it also needs to determine the information of the user equipment corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the AP allocates the transmission time of the uplink service flow to the user equipment in each scheduling period according to the information of the user equipment, and transmits the transmission time to the user equipment; or determining the information of the downlink service flow corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the AP allocates the sending time for the downlink service flow in each scheduling period according to the information of the downlink service flow, and sends the downlink service flow to the user equipment that determines to download the downlink service flow.
Optionally, the processor 1201 is further configured to update the free time of the channel after the scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow is established. So that the processor 1201 can process other admission control requests according to the free time of the channel, thereby improving the working efficiency.
It should be noted that, the spare time of the update channel mentioned herein refers to: the processor 1201 establishes a scheduling rule corresponding to the first traffic flow after determining that the admission control request is accepted, and updates the current remaining idle time of the channel after the channel time required for transmitting the first traffic flow has been allocated.
A transmitter 1202, configured to transmit the scheduling rule to the AP, so that the AP can schedule the traffic flow according to the scheduling rule.
It should be noted that the admission control request may be sent by the AP or sent by the network side device.
It should be understood that the receiver 1203 is further configured to receive the first request message, where the admission control request is actually carried in the first request message received by the receiver 1203, that is, the first request message sent by the AP or the first request message sent by the network side device is received by the receiver 1203, and the admission control request is carried in the first request message.
Therefore, when the first request message received by the receiver 1203 is a first request message sent by an AP, the processor 1201 is further configured to generate a forwarding principle for configuring the AP.
When the receiver 1203 receives the first request message, where the first request message is a first request message sent by a network side device, and an admission control request carried by the first request message is an uplink admission control request, the transmitter 1202 is further configured to: and sending second indication information to the AP, wherein the second indication information is used for sending the uplink flow classification information to the wireless workstation STA by the AP.
It should be appreciated that there can only be one instance of the origin of the request message received by the receiver 1203 at the same time. It is generally unlikely that both will occur simultaneously, and therefore subsequent actions taken in accordance with the source of the received message are also alternative and correspond one-to-one to the source of the received message.
Therefore, in the access controller provided in the thirteenth embodiment of the present invention, the processor determines whether to provide quality of service guarantee according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, and determines whether to accept the admission control request on the premise of determining to provide quality of service guarantee. When the admission control request is determined to be accepted, the AP is instructed to establish the scheduling rule, so that the misuse of WLAN network resources by unauthorized users or services is avoided.
Fig. 13 is a schematic structural diagram of an access point according to a fourteenth embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 13, the access point includes: a receiver 1301 and a processor 1302;
a receiver 1301, configured to receive a resource request message sent by the access controller AC.
Specifically, the receiver 1301 receives a resource request message sent by an AC, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to a first service flow, where the admission control request includes parameter information, and the first service flow is a service flow corresponding to the admission control request.
The parameter information includes a maximum delay requirement, a transmission rate and a maximum length of an MAC layer data unit. Such that the processor 1302 determines whether the current free time of the channel satisfies the admission control request based on the parameter information.
When only the service authorization rule exists, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the first service flow as a first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
or, when only the user subscription information is available, the AC may take the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule exist at the same time, the AC integrates the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first integrated priority level.
Further optionally, a time constraint for transmitting the first traffic flow may be further included in the resource request message, so as to enable the processor 1302 to establish the scheduling rule within a specified time, for example, to establish the scheduling rule corresponding to the traffic flow within 50 ms.
In addition, the resource request message may further include information of the user equipment corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the processor 1302 allocates a transmission time of the uplink service flow to the user equipment in each scheduling period according to the information of the user equipment, and transmits the transmission time to the user equipment; or the information of the downlink service flow corresponding to the scheduling rule, so that the processor 1302 allocates a sending time for the downlink service flow in each scheduling period according to the information of the downlink service flow, and sends the downlink service flow to the user equipment which determines to download the downlink service flow.
A processor 1302, configured to determine whether the free time of the current channel satisfies the admission control request according to the parameter information.
Specifically, the processor 1302 determines the time and the scheduling period occupied by the channel when the first service flow is transmitted according to the above-described parameter information (mainly according to the maximum delay requirement, the transmission rate, the maximum length of the MAC layer data unit, and the like in the parameter information).
When the comparison result shows that the time that the first service flow occupies the channel is greater than the current free time of the channel, the processor 1302 will release the channel time occupied by transmitting the current service flow according to the first priority level, so as to meet the requirement of the admission control request, wherein the priority level corresponding to the current service flow is lower than the first priority level.
It should be noted that the current service flow is a service flow currently occupying the channel time in the AP, and the priority level corresponding to the service flow may be considered as the priority level of the scheduling rule established by the processor 1302 according to the service flow, and the priority level of the scheduling rule is already stored in the AP.
Optionally, after the scheduling rule is established, the processor 1302 is further configured to update the free time of the channel.
So that the processor 1302 can process other admission control requests according to the free time of the channel, thereby improving the work efficiency.
It should be noted that, the spare time of the update channel mentioned herein refers to: the processor 1302 updates the currently remaining idle time of the channel after the scheduling rule is established and the channel time required for transmitting the first traffic stream has been allocated.
It should be noted that, when the admission control request is an uplink admission control request, the receiver 1301 is further configured to receive indication information sent by an AC.
At this time, the apparatus may further include a transmitter 1303, where the transmitter 1303 is configured to transmit the uplink classification information to the wireless station STA according to the indication information.
Specifically, the transmitter 1303 sends a CF _ POLL frame to the STA at the scheduling start time of the uplink service flow, where the CF _ POLL frame carries the classification information of the uplink service flow, so that the STA can determine the uplink service flow transmitted at the corresponding channel time according to the classification information, and send the uplink service flow at the specified time according to the instruction of the CF _ POLL frame.
In the access point provided by the fourteenth embodiment of the present invention, a receiver receives a resource request message sent by an AC, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to a first service flow, and a processor determines, according to parameter information in the admission control request, that a current free time of a channel satisfies the admission control request, and establishes a scheduling rule to schedule and transmit the service flow corresponding to the admission control request; if the current channel time is insufficient, the processor can also guarantee the service quality of the high-priority service flow by releasing the channel time occupied by the current low-priority service flow, thereby avoiding the misuse of WLAN network resources by unauthorized users or services.
Fig. 14 is a schematic structural diagram of an access controller according to a fifteenth embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 14, the access controller includes: a processor 1401, a transmitter 1402;
a processor 1401, configured to determine to send a resource request message to an access point AP according to user subscription information and/or a service authorization rule.
Specifically, the processor 1401 determines whether to provide service quality guarantee for the first service flow corresponding to the admission control request according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, because only a subscription user or a specific service flow can obtain the service quality guarantee, the processor 1401 needs to determine whether the service flow corresponding to the admission control request conforms to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule, that is, whether to provide the service quality guarantee, and when it is determined that the service quality guarantee is provided, the processor 1402 is notified to send the resource request message to the AP; otherwise, the transmitter 1402 does not transmit the resource request message, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to the first service flow, where the admission control request includes parameter information.
It should be noted that the obtained first priority is a first comprehensive priority, and is obtained after the processor 1401 determines to provide QOS guarantee for the first service flow according to the user subscription information and/or the service authorization rule. Specifically, the process of generating the first integrated priority is as follows:
the processor 1401 can determine the priority level relation corresponding to different service flows according to the service authorization rule; according to the user subscription information, the priority level relation corresponding to the subscription user can be determined.
When only the service authorization rule exists, the processor 1401 may take the priority level corresponding to the first service flow as the first comprehensive priority level according to the service authorization rule;
or, when only the user subscription information is available, the processor 1401 may use the priority level corresponding to the user as the first comprehensive priority level according to the user subscription information;
when the user subscription information and the service authorization rule coexist, the processor 1401 synthesizes the priority level corresponding to the service authorization rule and the priority level corresponding to the user subscription information to obtain a first synthesized priority level.
It should be noted that the admission control request may be sent by the AP or sent by the network side device.
It should be understood that, the access controller may further include a receiver 1403, configured to receive the first request message, where the admission control request is actually carried in the first request message received by the receiver 1403, that is, the receiver 1403 receives the first request message sent by the AP or the first request message sent by the network side device, and the first request message carries the admission control request.
Thus, if the receiver 1403 receives the first request message sent by the AP, the processor 1401 is further configured to generate a forwarding principle for configuring the AP. When the request message received by the AP is some specific messages, according to the forwarding principle configured by the processor 1401, it needs to be directly reported to the AC for processing, for example, the first request message in this embodiment, when the AP receives the request message, the AP directly reports to the AC, and other non-specific messages are processed by the AP itself.
Or the AP may report directly to the AC process that some specific messages are received according to its own default principles.
In addition, if the receiver 1403 receives the first request message sent by the network side device, and the admission control request carried by the first request message is an uplink admission control request, the transmitter 1402 is further configured to send indication information to the AP, where the indication information is used for the AP to send uplink classification information to the wireless station STA.
It should be appreciated that there can only be one instance of the source of the request message received by the receiver 1401 at the same time. It is generally unlikely that both will occur simultaneously, and therefore subsequent actions taken in accordance with the source of the received message are also alternative and correspond one-to-one to the source of the received message.
In the structural schematic diagram of an access controller provided by the fifteenth embodiment of the present invention, a processor determines to provide quality of service guarantee according to user subscription information and/or a service authorization rule, and sends a resource request message to an AP by using a transmitter, where the resource request message includes an admission control request and a first priority level corresponding to a first service flow, so that the AP can determine, according to parameter information in the admission control request, that a current free time of a channel satisfies the admission control request, and establish a scheduling rule corresponding to the first service flow, thereby avoiding that WLAN network resources are abused by unauthorized users or services.
