Description

Sealing unit of feeding device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a breeding device for breeding a small animal such as a mouse used in medical research, various experiments, and the like, and more particularly to a sealing unit used in the breeding device.
Background
Since mice used in medical research, various experiments, and the like must be raised in a sterile environment, the raising apparatus itself needs to be in a sealed state, or the raising apparatus needs to be in a sealed state.
However, in this conventional method, when the sealed state is released for cleaning the inside, the clamping unit must be released and the pulling-out operation must be performed with a large force, which takes time and labor.
As a means for solving such a problem, patent document 1 proposes a gasket having a lip portion that protrudes in a radial direction and is curved by being in contact with another member, instead of an O-ring. With this configuration, the seal can be attached and detached with a relatively small force.
However, in the above method, the protruding direction of the lip portion is limited to the radially outer side, and it is difficult to provide a plurality of lip portions for further securing the sealing state. Further, the holding force of one lip is weak, and it is necessary to lock the feeding container and the lid body with a jig or the like.

Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
The invention provides a sealing unit of a feeding device, which can be assembled and disassembled with small force, has no limitation on the installation direction and is easy to form a plurality of lips.
Means for solving the problems
The present inventors have completed the present invention in consideration of the fact that when a sealing member is formed as an endless belt body and both ends thereof are fixed to one of members to be sealed, the sealing member can be firmly fixed to the member and a plurality of lips can be easily formed.
The embodiments of the present invention are described below.
(1) A sealing unit of a rearing apparatus including a rearing container having an opening on one surface and a lid body covering the opening,
the rearing device is configured such that either one of an end portion of the rearing container and an end portion of the lid body is disposed inside the other, and the rearing device is sealed by a sealing member provided between the end portion of the rearing container and the end portion of the lid body,
the sealing member is formed of an endless belt body, one end of which is bent to form a 1 st recess into which an edge of either one of an end of the feeding container and an end of the lid body is fitted, a lip portion that comes into contact with the other of the end of the feeding container and the end of the lid body is formed on a surface opposite to a surface on which the first recess is formed,
the end portion fitted into the 1 st recessed portion is formed with a 2 nd recessed portion into which the other end of the seal member is fitted.
(2) The sealing unit for a keeping device according to (1), wherein the sealing unit for a keeping device is provided with a plurality of lips that contact the other of the end of the keeping container and the end of the lid body.
(3) The sealing unit of a feeding device according to (1) or (2), wherein the 2 nd recessed portion is provided with a plurality of through holes, and a protrusion having a raised portion formed at a tip end thereof and penetrating the through holes is provided at a portion of the sealing member corresponding to the through holes.
The sealing member of the present invention is preferably made of silicone rubber or the like suitable for processing, regardless of the type, as long as it has sufficient elasticity, excellent sealing properties, and heat resistance capable of withstanding high-temperature sterilization.
ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS OF INVENTION
According to the sealing unit of the present invention, since the sealing member is a tape, a plurality of lips for forming a sealed state can be formed, and the sealing degree can be improved. Further, since the upper and lower ends of the tape body are fixed to one of the members to be sealed, the sealing member can be firmly fixed to the member to be sealed, and the sealing member can be attached to both the inside and the outside of the member to be sealed. Further, by forming a plurality of lips, the feeding container and the lid body can be locked with sufficient strength, and the separate locking means can be omitted.

Detailed Description
The sealing unit used in the rearing apparatus of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a feeding apparatus of the present invention.
The rearing apparatus of the present invention comprises a container body 1 and a lid body 2, and a sealed state is formed between a container body end portion 3 and a lid body end portion 4 by the sealing means of the present invention.
In fig. 2 (a), the sealing member 5, which is a main component of the sealing unit of the present invention, is a tubular band made of silicone rubber, and in this embodiment, the sealing member 5 is bent inward, and as shown in fig. 2 (b), a 1 st concave portion 7 into which an edge 8 of an end portion 4 of a lid body of the feeding device of the present invention is fitted is formed, and a 2 nd concave portion 10 into which the other end portion 9 of the sealing member 1 is fitted is formed in the end portion 4.
A plurality of lips 11 are formed on the surface of the sealing member 5 opposite to the curved portion, and as shown in fig. 2 (c), the lips 11 are in contact with the end portion 3 of the main body container of the rearing device of the present invention, thereby establishing a sealed state of the rearing device of the present invention.
Fig. 3 (a) shows a sealing unit according to embodiment 2 of the present invention.
In embodiment 2, a through hole 12 is provided in a part of the 2 nd recessed portion 10 of the end portion 4 of the lid body, and a protruding portion 13 having a raised tip is formed in a portion of the sealing member 5 corresponding to the through hole 12, and as shown in fig. 3 (b), when the sealing member 5 is attached to the end portion 4 of the lid body, the protruding portion 13 penetrates the through hole 12, and the sealing member is firmly fixed to the lid body end portion 4 by the raised tip of the protruding portion 13.
Fig. 4 shows a top view of embodiment 2 of the present invention.
In this embodiment, the through hole 12 is a long hole, and the bulge of the tip end of the protruding portion 13 of the seal member is tapered to facilitate insertion into the through hole 12.
In the above description, the embodiment in which the sealing member of the present invention is attached to the lid end portion 4 has been described, and the sealing member of the present invention can be attached to the container body end portion 3 and the seal can be formed between the container body end portion 3 and the lid end portion 4 by bending the end portion of the sealing member outward to form the 1 st concave portion, forming the lip portions in the inward direction, and forming the 2 nd concave portion in the inner side of the container body end portion 3.
In the case where the container body end portion 3 is disposed at a position inside the lid body end portion 4, the sealing member of the present invention can be attached to either end portion by changing the protruding direction of the lip portion, the bending direction of the lower end portion, and the formation position of the 2 nd recessed portion.
The feeding apparatus of fig. 1 is provided with an opening for air supply and exhaust, and an opening for water absorption and feeding, which are not shown. The sealing unit of the present invention can be applied to a case where a sheath portion extending in the axial direction is formed in the opening portion.
