Abstract

本发明涉及终端领域,特别是涉及一种扩展用户分区的方法和装置,以解决现有的内置存储和外置存储分开挂载导致的内置存储空间已满时用户操作不便的问题。该方法为,终端开机后确定所述终端的内置存储卡中预留的用户数据存储空间为第一数据data分区;并在检测到外置存储卡插入所述终端时,将外置存储卡格式化为与第一data分区的存储格式相同的存储格式,并将格式化后的外置存储卡的存储空间作为第二data分区;根据第一data分区的存储地址区间第二data分区的存储地址区间,更新data分区文件系统属性信息。这样实现了通过外置存储卡扩展用户分区的功能,提升用户体验。
