技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种背光模组及其控制方法、显示装置。
背景技术
背光模组为液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display,简称LCD)提供光源,是LCD的重要组成部件。
传统的背光模组包括导光板、以及设置于导光板的远离出光面一侧的反射片。反射片起到的主要作用就是将从导光板下方透射出来的光再次返回到导光板中,提高背光模组的亮度。其中,反射膜是一张整体的膜材,整个膜材区域内的反射率是基本一致的,因此反射给导光板的光在各区域内也是基本一致的。
区域亮度控制是能区域化的控制背光的亮度,对于提高显示的动态范围,提高区域对比度,实现高动态范围(High-Dynamic Range,简称HDR)有很重要的意义。
传统的显示背光模组需要调节亮度时,通常是通过调节光源来实现亮度的变化,但是这种调节亮度的方式会使整个出光区域的亮度同时增加或者降低,无法实现亮度的区域化控制。
发明内容
本发明的实施例提供一种背光模组及其控制方法、显示装置,可实现背光的区域亮度控制。
为达到上述目的,本发明的实施例采用如下技术方案:
第一方面,提供一种背光模组,包括导光板,设置于导光板的远离出光面一侧的至少一个数字微镜器件。
优选的,所述数字微镜器件为多个,且多个所述数字微镜器件拼接在一起。
优选的,所述导光板还用作所述数字微镜器件中微镜的保护板。
优选的,所述数字微镜器件的微镜包括用于形成反射面的银反射层。
优选的,所述背光模组还包括设置于所述导光板出光面一侧的光学膜片。
进一步的,所述光学膜片包括依次设置于所述导光板出光面一侧的扩散片、下棱镜片和上棱镜片。
优选的,所述背光模组还包括设置于所述导光板侧面的LED灯条。
第二方面,提供一种显示装置,包括第一方面所述的背光模组,还包括显示面板。
第三方面,提供一种第一方面所述背光模组的控制方法,包括:通过控制数字微镜器件中的微镜,对所述背光模组进行区域亮度控制。
可选的,对所述背光模组进行区域亮度控制,包括:将背光模组划分为多个背光分区,控制与预定的所述背光分区相邻的所述背光分区中的所述微镜进行转动,以使光线反射至预定的所述背光分区。
优选的,所述控制方法还包括:控制所有所述微镜为平坦状态。
本发明的实施例提供一种背光模组及其控制方法、显示装置,通过在导光板的远离出光面一侧设置至少一个数字微镜器件,并通过控制数字微镜器件中的微镜,可使特定区域的微镜进行转动,以使这些转动后的微镜将光反射至某一区域,而该区域的亮度就会提高,从而实现区域亮度控制的目的。基于此,当该背光模组应用于显示装置时,可提高显示的动态范围,提高区域对比度,实现高动态范围。

下面将结合本发明实施例中的附图,对本发明实施例中的技术方案进行清楚、完整地描述,显然,所描述的实施例仅仅是本发明一部分实施例,而不是全部的实施例。基于本发明中的实施例,本领域普通技术人员在没有做出创造性劳动前提下所获得的所有其他实施例,都属于本发明保护的范围。
本发明实施例提供一种背光模组,如图1和图2所示,包括导光板10,设置于导光板10的远离出光面101一侧的至少一个数字微镜器件(Digital Micromirror Device,DMD)20。
如图3所示,数字微镜器件20是由若干微镜201组成的阵列器件。一个数字微镜器件20上可有十万甚至更多的微镜201。每一个微镜201都有三个角度可以控制变化,三个角度分别为α(此时微镜201处于平坦状态)、α±β;β可以为10°、12°、17°等。
其中,当微镜201处于平坦状态时,如图4a所示,以α=0°为例。当数字微镜器件20中所有微镜201都处于平坦状态时,数字微镜器件20将导光板10透射出来的光在整个导光板10区域内基本一致的反射回导光板10。在此情况下,数字微镜器件20的作用于现有的反射片作用相同。
当微镜201转动时,即转动β角度时,如图4b所示,可使导光板10透射出来的光向特定方向反射。基于此,通过控制数字微镜器件20中的微镜201,使特定区域的微镜201进行转动,以使这些转动后的微镜201将光反射至某一区域,而该区域的亮度就会提高,从而实现区域亮度控制的目的。
需要说明的是,第一,微镜201即为微小的反射镜,其可对射向其的光进行反射。
由于数字微镜器件20的反光特性,当其设置于导光板10的远离出光面101一侧时,数字微镜器件20可相当于反射片。
基于此,本领域技术人员应该明白,为了反射导光板10的远离出光面101一侧出射的光,设置于导光板10的远离出光面101一侧的至少一个数字微镜器件20应能在导光板10的整个区域内进行反光。其中,可根据导光板10和数字微镜器件20的尺寸,当导光板10的尺寸较小时,可选择一个或几个数字微镜器件20设置于导光板10的远离出光面101一侧;当导光板10的尺寸较大时,可选择更多的数字微镜器件20设置于导光板10的远离出光面101一侧。
第二,不对导光板10的形状进行限定,可以如图1和图2所示为平板形,也可以为楔形等其他形状。
其中,不管导光板10的形状如何设定,与反射片的设置方式类似,可使至少一个数字微镜器件20沿导光板10的远离出光面101一侧的平面(该平面即为与出光面101相对的平面)设置。
第三,本领域技术人员应该明白,背光模组还可包括固定导光板10、数字微镜器件20等的背板、胶框等。
其中,控制数字微镜器件20的控制板可以位于背光模组内,也可独立于背光模组设置。当数字微镜器件20的控制板独立于背光模组设置时,可通过连接线例如柔性线路板(FPC)等连接至背光模组外的控制板。
考虑到背光模组的轻薄化,本发明实施例中,可将数字微镜器件20的控制板独立于背光模组设置,当背光模组应用于显示装置时,可设置于显示装置的其他位置处。
本发明实施例提供一种背光模组,通过在导光板10的远离出光面101一侧设置至少一个数字微镜器件20,并通过控制数字微镜器件20中的微镜201,可使特定区域的微镜201进行转动,以使这些转动后的微镜201将光反射至某一区域,而该区域的亮度就会提高,从而实现区域亮度控制的目的。基于此,当该背光模组应用于显示装置时,可提高显示的动态范围,提高区域对比度,实现高动态范围。
优选的,在数字微镜器件20为多个的情况下,多个数字微镜器件20拼接在一起。
此处,多个数字微镜器件20拼接在一起,即,多个数字微镜器件20紧密排布且微镜201的反射面在同一平面上。
一方面,使得本发明的背光模组可适用于大尺寸显示装置,另一方面,多个数字微镜器件20拼接在一起,拼接后的数字微镜器件20可具有较好的区域亮度控制的性能。
优选的,导光板10还用作数字微镜器件20中微镜201的保护板。
由于微镜201比较脆弱,数字微镜器件20通常采用在微镜201上方覆盖一整块高透过率、高硬度的玻璃作为保护板。本发明实施例中,由于微镜201设置在导光板10下方,因而,可将原有的保护板去掉,使导光板10起到兼具保护微镜201的作用。
其中,由于微镜201需要转动,因此,如图5所示,需使导光板10与微镜201之间留出空隙,而在导光板10与数字微镜器件20的边缘可以使二者粘结在一起,并做抽真空处理。
本发明实施例,通过使导光板10起到兼具保护微镜201的作用,可进一步的减小背光模组的厚度,更符合产品轻薄的设计。
优选的,微镜201包括用于形成反射面的银反射层。
相对于铝反射层,采用银反射层可进一步提高反射率。
优选的,如图6所示,所述背光模组还包括设置于导光板出光面101一侧的光学膜片30,以进行不同目的之光学改进。
进一步的,如图6所示,光学膜片30包括依次设置于导光板出光面101一侧的扩散片301、下棱镜片302和上棱镜片303。这样,可使背光模组出射的光的均一性更好。
优选的,所述背光模组还包括设置于导光板10侧面的发光二极管(LightEmitting Diode,简称LED)灯条。LED具有体积小,耗电量低,使用寿命长等优点。
本发明实施例还提供一种显示装置,包括上述的背光模组,还包括显示面板。可提高显示装置显示的动态范围,提高区域对比度,实现高动态范围。
所述显示装置可以是电视、笔记本电脑、平板电脑,智能手机等。
本发明实施例还提供一种上述背光模组的控制方法,包括:通过控制数字微镜器件20中的微镜201,对背光模组进行区域亮度控制。其具有与上述背光模组相同的技术效果,在此不再赘述。
具体的,当微镜201转动时,即转动β角度时,如图4b所示,可使导光板10透射出来的光向特定方向反射。基于此,通过控制数字微镜器件20中的微镜201,使特定区域的微镜201进行转动,以使这些转动后的微镜201将光反射至某一区域,而该区域的亮度就会提高,从而实现区域亮度控制的目的。在此情况下,可看作背光模组以区域亮度控制的模式进行工作。
可选的,对背光模组进行区域亮度控制,包括:将背光模组划分为多个背光分区,控制与预定的背光分区相邻的背光分区中的微镜201进行转动,以使光线反射至预定的背光分区。
即:将背光模组划分为多个区域,当需要控制某一个或几个背光分区亮度较高时,可控制与该背光分区相邻的背光分区中的微镜201进行转动,以使导光板10出射的且射向这些转动后的微镜201的光,经反射后能射向某一个或几个背光分区中,从而使该背光分区的亮度提高,而与该背光分区相邻的背光分区亮度则较低。
其中,背光分区的划分需与显示面板的区域划分一致,以保证亮度较高的背光分区对应的是显示面板上亮度较高的区域。
优选的,所述控制方法还包括:控制所有微镜201为平坦状态。
当微镜201处于平坦状态时,如图4a所示,以α=0°为例。当数字微镜器件20中所有微镜201都处于平坦状态时,数字微镜器件20将导光板10透射出来的光在整个导光板10区域内基本一致的反射回导光板10。在此情况下,数字微镜器件20的作用于现有的反射片作用相同,此时,可看作背光模组以普通模式进行工作。
基于此,可使背光模组具有两种工作模式,从而可使该背光模组的适用范围更广。
以上所述,仅为本发明的具体实施方式,但本发明的保护范围并不局限于此,任何熟悉本技术领域的技术人员在本发明揭露的技术范围内,可轻易想到变化或替换,都应涵盖在本发明的保护范围之内。因此,本发明的保护范围应以所述权利要求的保护范围为准。

Claims (11)

1.一种背光模组,其特征在于,包括导光板,设置于导光板的远离出光面一侧的至少一个数字微镜器件。
2.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述数字微镜器件为多个,且多个所述数字微镜器件拼接在一起。
3.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述导光板还用作所述数字微镜器件中微镜的保护板。
4.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述数字微镜器件的微镜包括用于形成反射面的银反射层。
5.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,还包括设置于所述导光板出光面一侧的光学膜片。
6.根据权利要求5所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述光学膜片包括依次设置于所述导光板出光面一侧的扩散片、下棱镜片和上棱镜片。
7.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,还包括设置于所述导光板侧面的LED灯条。
8.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括权利要求1-7任一项所述的背光模组,还包括显示面板。
9.一种如权利要求1-7任一项所述背光模组的控制方法,其特征在于,包括:通过控制数字微镜器件中的微镜,对所述背光模组进行区域亮度控制。
10.根据权利要求9所述的控制方法,其特征在于,对所述背光模组进行区域亮度控制,包括:
将背光模组划分为多个背光分区,控制与预定的所述背光分区相邻的所述背光分区中的所述微镜进行转动,以使光线反射至预定的所述背光分区。
11.根据权利要求9或10所述的控制方法,其特征在于,还包括:控制所有所述微镜为平坦状态。
