本发明公开了一种传输信息的方法、接入点和用户设备,该方法包括:确定用于下行传输的频带的最大正交频分复用OFDM符号数,该频带的最大OFDM符号数为该频带内的所有子带的最大OFDM符号数的最大值;根据用户设备所属的子带的最大OFDM符号数和该频带的最大OFDM符号数的大小关系,确定用于指示是否向该用户设备发送附加长训练字段的附加长训练字段指示信息;向该用户设备发送指示消息,该指示消息包括该附加长训练字段指示信息。本发明实施例的方法和装置,在数据传输过程中能够采用传输附加长训练字段的方法,减少数据传输过程中填充零的开销,提高频带资源的利用率,提高数据传输的可靠性。
