The file to be printed can be a txt file, a doc file, a docx file, a pdf file, a jpg file, a ppt file, an html file or a format file supported by other printers. After receiving a file to be printed uploaded by the electronic equipment, the server selects a printer identifier corresponding to the printer, wherein the number of available paper pages of the printer is larger than that of the file to be printed, and sends the selected printer identifier to the electronic equipment for a user to select. The printer identifier is a character string for uniquely identifying the printer, and may be a network address of the printer, a MAC address of the printer, a printer number, or the like. After receiving the optional printer identification sent by the server, the electronic equipment displays the optional printer identification on an electronic equipment interface, acquires the printer identification selected by the user, and uploads the selected printer identification to the server. The server receives the selected printer identification uploaded by the electronic equipment, subtracts the number of pages of the file to be printed from the number of available paper pages corresponding to the selected printer, and generates a graphical identifier corresponding to the file to be printed, wherein the graphical identifier information of the graphical identifier comprises the printer identification and the file identification to be printed. Wherein, the graphic identifier can be a two-dimensional code, a bar code and the like. The identification of the file to be printed refers to characters, numbers or letters and the like for uniquely identifying the file to be printed. The server sends the generated graphical identifier to the electronic device, and the electronic device can store and display the received graphical identifier on a display screen of the electronic device. The printer is provided with a graphic identifier scanning port, scans the graphic identifier displayed on the display screen of the electronic equipment through the graphic identifier scanning port, can acquire the graphic identifier information corresponding to the graphic identifier, and uploads the acquired graphic identifier information to the server. The server receives the graphic identifier information uploaded by the printer, wherein the graphic identifier information comprises a printer identifier and a file identifier to be printed. And if the server identifies that the number of the current printer is the same as the number of the printer in the graph identifier information, acquiring the file to be printed according to the file identifier to be printed, and sending the file to be printed to the printer for printing.
According to the self-service printing method, after a file to be printed uploaded by electronic equipment is received, a graphic identifier of the file to be printed is generated according to a printer identifier used for selection; after receiving the graphic identifier uploaded by the printer and acquired by the scanning electronic equipment, searching and acquiring the file to be printed according to the graphic identifier information, and sending the file to be printed to the printer for printing, so that the time for printing the file by the user is saved, and the file printing by the user is more convenient.

Specifically, after receiving a file to be printed uploaded by the electronic device, the server stores the file to be printed and records the time of storing the file to be printed. If the server does not receive the graphical identifier information uploaded by the printer within the preset time interval, namely the server judges that the user does not print the file within the preset time interval, deleting the stored file to be printed, and adding the page number of the file to be printed in the page number of the available paper of the selected printer identifier corresponding to the file to be printed. The method comprises the steps that a server sets printing time for a file to be printed, and if the file to be printed is not printed within the printing time, the file to be printed is deleted, and paper occupied by the file to be printed in available paper of a printer is recovered.
According to the self-service printing method, the printing time is set for the file to be printed, the file to be printed is deleted and the paper occupied by the file to be printed in the printer is released after the file to be printed is overtime, the storage space of the server is released, and the situation that the file to be printed occupies the available paper in the printer for a long time, so that resources are wasted can be avoided.
In one embodiment, the self-service printing method further includes: receiving GPS (global positioning System) information uploaded by the electronic equipment; acquiring a printer identifier corresponding to a printer within a preset range of the electronic equipment according to the GPS information; acquiring current file queue information to be printed of a printer in a preset range of the electronic equipment; and sending the printer identification within the preset range of the electronic equipment, the distance corresponding to each printer identification and the current file queue information to be printed corresponding to each printer identification to the electronic equipment.
Specifically, when the electronic device uploads the file to be printed, the GPS positioning information currently positioned by the electronic device or the GPS positioning information selected by the user can be uploaded, the server uses the received GPS positioning information as the positioning information of the electronic device, selects the printer identifier within the preset range of the positioning information of the electronic device, and can also obtain the queue information of the file to be printed currently corresponding to each printer identifier. The current file queue information to be printed can include the number of the current files to be printed of each printer, the number of pages of each file to be printed, the estimated time of each file to be printed and the like. The estimated time for each document to be printed is the time the document is expected to be printed. After receiving the printer identifications, the distances corresponding to the printer identifications and the current file queue information to be printed corresponding to the printer identifications, which are sent by the server and within the preset range of the electronic equipment, the electronic equipment can sort the printer identifications according to the distances corresponding to the printer identifications and can also sort the printer identifications according to the total estimated time of the files to be printed in the printers.

Specifically, if a user finds that a printer fails when a file is printed, the user can send the number of the current printer and a failure prompt to the server through an APP (application program) end or a webpage client in the electronic equipment. And when receiving the printer identification and the fault prompt uploaded by the electronic equipment, the server sends a test instruction to the printer corresponding to the printer identification, so that the printer prints a preset test page. After the user shoots the test page picture, the test page picture is uploaded to the server through an APP (application) end or a webpage client end in the electronic equipment, the server compares the received test page picture with the prestored test page picture, if the matching degree of the received test page picture and the prestored test page picture is lower than a specified value, the printer is judged to have a fault, and the server can send a fault prompt to a computer end or the electronic equipment where maintenance personnel are located to remind the maintenance personnel that the printer has the fault. The server may also add a certain amount of available paper pages to the current user's account as a reward for the user reporting a printer failure. When the electronic equipment uploads the file to be printed again, the server deducts the number of available paper pages in the account of the current user when calculating the number of the file to be printed, and charges the user according to the number of the file to be printed after deducting the number of the available paper pages in the account of the current user.
According to the self-service printing method, the user is encouraged to report the printer fault in a mode of rewarding the number of available paper pages of the user, the printer fault can be found and repaired in time, the printer does not need to be manually checked one by one to determine whether the printer is in fault, and manpower resources are saved.
