Description

Price evaluation method of online media file, client and server
Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of internet technologies, and in particular, to a price evaluation method for an online media file, a client, and a server.
Background
Currently, more and more users log on to media websites through the internet to watch various media files, such as movies, television shows, news, music, etc. For the media website, the copyright purchase cost of the media file is one of the most important expenditure items in the business operation link. To maximize the Return On Investment (ROI), the media website purchases as "good value" media files as possible. Therefore, it is critical to accurately estimate the price of a media file.
It is known to estimate the price of a media file based on the attribute information of the title to which the media file relates, for example, by the director, screenwriter, material, introduction of the scenario, etc. of the title. However, since the works of a specific director or a specific director are not always able to stably maintain high quality or high popularity, it is not reasonable to measure the popularity of the current drama purely by the popularity of the past works. In addition, some special factors cannot be used in the evaluation, for example, a topic is very hot recently, or a movie is very good for virus marketing, a star or director pops up personal news, a subject is very hot recently, or some subjects are saturated recently, and so on.
Therefore, the estimation method of the media files of the current media website is not accurate enough, the provided media files cannot meet the watching requirements of the user, and the user often cannot search the media files expected to be watched when browsing the media website, so that the return on investment of the media website is reduced, and the resource utilization rate when the server plays the media files and the media file watching experience of the user are reduced.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
In the application, the client provides a media application platform, such as a video website, for the user, and the user can browse a media file to be played, such as a movie that is not yet shown, a tv series to be played, and the like, on the media application platform. For the media files to be played, the user can participate in comments, share with friends and the like on line on the media application platform. The server side evaluates the prices of the media files to be played on line according to the operation of the user, and estimates the price of each media file in advance to provide reference and basis for subsequent purchasing decision.
FIG. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for price estimation of an online media file according to an embodiment of the invention. The method is applied to the client. Referring to fig. 1, the method includes:
step 101, displaying information of each media file to be estimated, and providing user operation options for each media file to be estimated.
The information of each media file to be estimated comprises the name, main content, one or more pictures and the like of the media file. The user action options are used to provide the user with options for actions to be performed on the media file, including, for example, commenting, forwarding, selecting whether any or any of the media files will be viewed.
FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating an interface 200 showing media files to be pre-estimated and user operation options thereof according to an embodiment of the invention. The name of a media file to be pre-estimated (see box 201), the main content (see box 202), and the picture (see box 203) are shown in the upper half of the interface 200, three user operation options are displayed in the lower half of the interface 200, including making a comment in box 211, clicking a button shown at 212 to forward to a friend or public sharing platform of the user, such as Tencent space, WeChat friend circle, etc., and the user can click "yes" to select to view the media file or click "no" to select not to view the media file in box 213.
In another embodiment, the user operation options include any one or any number of likes, steps, forwards, view details. The user clicks the comment corresponding to the user selection to watch the media file, and clicks the comment corresponding to the user selection not to watch the media file, after the user checks the details, the user displays the more detailed content of the media file in another window, and provides a comment option in the window.
FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating an interface 300 showing each media file to be pre-estimated and its user operation options according to another embodiment of the present invention. A plurality of media files to be pre-estimated are displayed in the interface 300, and through the fuzzy search box given by the box 301, the user can search out the media files interested by the user according to the names of the media files, the date on which the media files are going to be shown, the main actors, the director, the drama, the story type and the like. Different media file types are provided for the user to make categorical selections such as movies, television shows, animations, news, etc. in block 302. In the blocks 310 and 320 … 3n0, information of n media files to be pre-estimated is displayed respectively, and 4 user operation options are displayed below the n media files respectively, including praise 311, 321 … 3n1, click 312, 322 … 3n2, forward 313, 323 … 3n3, view details 314 and 324 … 3n 4.
After the user clicks on the view details 314, 324 … 3N4, the client creates a new window to show more detailed information about the media file, such as details shown in box 430 of fig. 4, including director, screenplay, cast, subject matter, brief introduction, date, etc., N series of shots are shown in the boxes 441 to 44N therebelow, comment options are provided for the user to enter comment information in box 422, and all of the user's comments are shown in box 450 for the user to browse, comment on each other, etc.
In addition, in the interface 400 shown in fig. 4, in addition to the comment option 422, another recommendation option 421 is provided, which is equivalent to both the like and forward operations in fig. 3, i.e., the like and forward buttons in fig. 3 are combined into one recommendation button, so as to simplify the user operation options. If the user clicks on the recommendation option 421, this indicates that the user selection will view the media file.
And 102, for each media file to be estimated, responding to the operation of a user on the user operation option of the media file, and sending a user operation instruction of the media file to the server.
The user operation instruction is used for indicating the operation of the user on the media file, so that the server can estimate the price of the media file based on one or more user operation instructions received in a preset time period.
Here, the user operation indication may carry a media file identifier, a user identifier, and a user operation identifier, where the user operation identifier and the user operation option are in one-to-one correspondence, such as the user operation options shown in fig. 2 to fig. 4. Taking the user operation options shown in fig. 3 as an example, the user operation identifiers corresponding to the user operation options 311, 312, 313, and 314 of the media file 1 (including the operation of the user to comment in the detail presentation page) can be represented by two bits, 00, 01, 10, and 11 respectively. The more user operation options are provided for the user, the richer the information expressed by the user operation instructions is, and the higher the accuracy of the price estimated by the server is.
For example, a movie to be shown corresponds to the media file 1, the predetermined period is 3 months, and the server receives a plurality of user operation instructions for the movie within a period of 3 months. For example, the user operation indications correspond to the user operation options shown in fig. 3, the user operation indication 1 indicates that the user a approves of the movie, the user operation indication 2 indicates that the user B forwards the movie, and the user operation indication 3 indicates that the user C views the details and makes comments in the details presentation page.
In the embodiment, by displaying the information of each media file to be forecasted and providing the user operation options for each media file to be forecasted, the attention and expectation of the user on the media files which are shown or played in the future are fully utilized. For example, if the user A likes to see the "star wars", he would be very interested in the information of "star wars 7". As another example, user B is a fan of a star, and she must also know in advance the movies starred by her idol. Therefore, the information of the media file to be estimated is shown to the user, so that the user can be attracted to participate in the evaluation or comment of the media file in advance.
And then, according to the operation of the user on the user operation option of the media file, sending the user operation instruction of the media file to the server, so that the server can evaluate the media file according to the user operation instructions of all the users, the price of the media file can be estimated more accurately and reasonably, the media files which can be watched by the user are all expected to be watched by the user in a media file playing page, the watching experience of the user is improved, the return on investment of a video website is increased, and the resource utilization rate of the video website server when the media file is played is improved.
FIG. 5 is a flowchart illustrating a method for price estimation of an online media file according to another embodiment of the invention. The method is applied to the client. Referring to fig. 5, on the basis of steps 101 and 102 shown in fig. 1, when the user operation indication indicates that the user selects to view the media file, step 103 and step 106 can be further performed.
And 103, receiving promotion information corresponding to the media file from the server, and displaying the promotion information to the user.
When a user selects a media file to be viewed in the presentation page, for example, a praise indicating that the user is interested in the media file, or waits until the media file is shown to be viewed. Then, after receiving the user operation instruction, the server sends the promotion information to the client, and the client displays the promotion information to the user.
Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram of an interface 600 for displaying promotion information and pre-purchase options according to an embodiment of the invention. As shown in fig. 6, the media file to be predicted is the movie "star wars 7-original arousal", and when the user clicks on button 611 for approval, the promotional information is displayed in box 615: "we will try to win this drama for you, so you can watch it in the Tencent video. "
And 104, receiving an instruction for allowing the media file to be purchased in advance from the server, and outputting a purchase option of the media file to the user.
The option of pre-purchasing may include price information for pre-purchasing the media file, and usually the price information is lower than the price of the media file when the media file is officially released. For example, on the Tencent video website, for praise users, they can purchase praise movies at a low price (e.g., 1 Yuan), while the cost of a member in the Tencent video Hollywood is typically 20 Yuan a month. When the video website purchases the movie and finally decides to buy and show, the pre-purchased user can watch it directly for free, and the cost of general Tencent video Hollywood members is 20 yuan per month. As shown in fig. 6, after the user approves, a pre-purchase button 616 is output, in which information "low price pre-purchase: 1 yuan.
And step 105, responding to the operation of the user on the pre-purchase option, sending a user pre-purchase instruction of the media file to the server, so that the server determines whether the user has the right to view the media file according to the user pre-purchase instruction.
When the user clicks the pre-purchase button 616, a payment application, such as a payment method using a WeChat wallet, QQ member recharge, etc., is started, and a user pre-purchase instruction is sent to the server, where the user pre-purchase instruction carries payment information of the user. For example, after the user successfully pays through the payment application, the user pre-purchase indication carries an identification of "successful payment". Thus, the server confirms that the user pays after receiving the user pre-purchase instruction, completes the pre-purchase and has the authority of watching the media file free of charge.
And 106, receiving an instruction for reminding the user of watching the media file from the server, and outputting a playing option of the media file to the user.
When the server determines to purchase the media file according to the estimated price, for example, after purchasing the playing copyright of the media file from a copyright party, the server can play the media file on a video website, then the server sends an instruction for watching the media file to a pre-purchased user at this time, and the client can output the playing option of the media file to the user. FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating an interface 700 for playing a media file according to an embodiment of the invention. The user is reminded in box 710 that the movie "star wars 7-original wakefulness" you have purchased for showing, dedicating to watching free, "and a play window and progress control buttons 730 are displayed in box 720 for user operation.
And when the server determines that the media file cannot be purchased according to the estimated price, the server returns all the pre-purchase money of the user to the user by calling the pre-purchase application program.
In the above embodiment, when the user operation instruction indicates that the user selects to view the media file, the promotion information and the pre-purchase option are displayed to the user, so that the user is encouraged and stimulated to select to view, approve or recommend the user, the user can be further attracted to actively participate in the evaluation and discussion of the to-be-played drama, so that as many user operation behaviors as possible are collected for the pre-evaluation of the media file, the more samples are collected, the more accurate the server is to pre-evaluate the price, the closer the server is to the viewing will and evaluation of the audience when the media file is shown, thereby providing a reliable basis for the purchase of the media file, and the popular media file meeting the expectation of the audience can be purchased at a reasonable price. In addition, by means of the measures of displaying the information of the media files to be estimated, the promotion information and the output of the pre-purchase options to the user, certain revenues such as advertisement putting income, business recruitment income, replacement and distribution income, member recharging and the like can be increased for the video website, and accordingly, the return on investment of the video website is increased.
In addition, the collected behavior data such as the user operation instruction and the user pre-purchase instruction can be used for other purposes. For example, it may be used in conjunction with other playback platforms for media files, such as movie theaters, to provide user data and forecasted prices to the movie theaters to facilitate optimal film striping. As another example, hot movies may be identified based on pre-engagement by the user in cooperation with a platform selling movie tickets, and these platforms may be assisted in making decisions to purchase tickets for these hot movies in advance. As another example, the media file creator may collaborate with a media file creator to assist them in pre-heating through a presentation page, gathering popularity prior to formal playback.
FIG. 8 is a flowchart illustrating a method for price estimation of an online media file according to an embodiment of the invention. The method is applied to the server. Referring to fig. 8, the method includes:
step 801, sending information of each media file to be pre-estimated to a client.
Corresponding to the description of the step 101, the client acquires the information of each media file to be estimated from the server side, displays the information on the display page, and provides user operation options for each media file to be estimated.
Step 802, for each media file to be estimated, receiving a user operation instruction of the media file from the client.
Corresponding to the description of step 102, the client sends the user operation indication of the media file to the server in response to an operation of a user on a user operation option of a media file to be pre-estimated.
Step 803, the price of the media file is estimated based on one or more user operation instructions received within a predetermined time period.
Wherein each user operation indication corresponds to a user, a media file and a user operation option. When the user operation options comprise comments, forwarding and selecting whether the media file is to be watched or not, respectively counting the number of users who comment, forward and select whether the media file is to be watched or not and select whether the media file is not to be watched according to the received multiple user operation instructions; and then, calculating the promotion information price of the media file according to the counted number of the users and the preset weight.
In one embodiment, the estimated price P ═ k × R, where k is an empirical coefficient, which can be determined based on the accuracy of previous estimates of the media file; r is a heat coefficient. If the favorable user number a1, the forwarded user number a2, the click user number B1 and the comment user number C1 are determined according to the received multiple user operation instructions, the popularity coefficient R can be calculated according to the following formula:
R=(A1*i2+A2–B1+C1*i1)*Z2/Z1 (1)
wherein, i1, i2, Z1 and Z2 are four preset weights. Specifically, i1 is a comment significant coefficient, for example, the value is 0.1, and is used for correcting the number of users participating in the comment C1; i2 is a pre-purchase enthusiasm coefficient, which can be set as a fixed value, or calculated according to the time length when the current media file reaches the upper limit of the number of pre-purchased users, i2 can be used for correcting and selecting the number A1 of users who will watch the media file; z1 is the total audience number of the media application platform, and Z2 is the total audience number of Chinese Internet users.
FIG. 9 is a flowchart illustrating a method for price estimation of an online media file according to another embodiment of the invention.
Step 901, sending information of each media file to be pre-estimated to the client.
Step 902, for each media file to be estimated, receiving a user operation instruction of the media file from the client.
When the user operation indication indicates that the user selects to view the media file, the following steps 903 and 910 are performed.
And step 903, sending promotion information corresponding to the media file to the client so that the client displays the promotion information to the user.
And 904, judging whether the user is allowed to pre-purchase the media file according to the upper limit of the number of pre-purchased users. When the user is determined to be allowed to pre-purchase the media file, execute step 906; otherwise, step 905 is performed.
And 905, sending a prompt message which cannot be purchased in advance to the client so that the client displays the prompt message to the user.
For example, in FIG. 6, after the user clicks button 616, the prompt message is displayed: "you can not buy the movie" star wars 7-original power arousal "because you have reached the upper limit of pre-purchase, please select other pre-purchased movies".
Step 906, sending an instruction for allowing the media file to be pre-purchased to the client, so that the client outputs a pre-purchase option of the media file to the user.
Step 907, receiving a user pre-purchase instruction of the media file from the client, and determining whether the user has the right to view the media file according to the user pre-purchase instruction.
Step 908, estimating the price of the media file based on the user operation instruction and the user pre-purchase instruction received in the preset time period.
Referring to the method for calculating R in the above formula (1), the pre-purchase aggressiveness factor i2 is a preset weight for the number a1 of complimentary users. Wherein, i2 can be calculated according to the user's instruction of purchasing in advance that receives, specifically is: and taking the ratio of the average time length of all the media files reaching the corresponding upper limit of the number of the pre-purchased users to the time length of the current media files reaching the upper limit of the number of the pre-purchased users as i 2. For example, a time period t1 when the number of users who purchased the media file reaches the upper limit of the number of users who purchased the media file is determined. Averaging the time length when the number of the users of each media file to be estimated reaches the upper limit of the corresponding number of the pre-purchased users to obtain the average time length t0, if i2 is t0/t1, then multiplying the i2 serving as a coefficient by A1 as shown in formula (1) to correct A1.
For each media file, an upper limit of the number of pre-purchased users is determined so that the operator of the video website can control the cost of pre-purchasing the media files. For example, the upper limit of the number of pre-purchased users is 100.
Step 909 determines whether to purchase the media file based on the estimated price.
The estimated price is compared with the quoted price of the copyright party. For example, if the estimated price P is 1 million and the copyright side of the media file has a price of two million, the operator of the video website may decide that the media file is a bought drama, which is worth purchasing, and then decide to purchase the media file.
Step 910, after determining that the user has the right to view the media file and determines to purchase the media file, sending an instruction for prompting the client to view the media file, so that the client outputs a play option of the media file to the user.
