Method and device for solving network congestion
Technical Field
The embodiment of the invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a method and a device for solving network congestion.
Background
In the operation process of the system, network communication faults or network load exceeds available resources, data packet loss, transmission delay increase, network throughput decrease and other phenomena occur, namely network congestion occurs. In the experience of users using the network, especially in the process of dial-up networking through a router, various connection anomalies are shown, such as slow opening of a webpage, no video loading, or delay of voice and video chatting. For these connection abnormal situations, the user generally considers that the reason of the network abnormality is due to the small bandwidth, poor wireless signal, or backward hardware of the mobile device, and the like, and the measures taken by the user are to continuously refresh the page, to perform network connection again, to modify the wireless password of the router again, to modify the wireless configuration of the router again, or to restart the test device.
In the process of implementing the invention, the inventor finds that the prior art has at least the following problems:
the wireless routing products in the current market have no special mechanism to deal with the network delay or congestion condition when users surf the internet, and users can do a series of measures of getting half the effort, such as restarting routers manually or contacting operators to service home.

fig. 2 is a functional block diagram of an apparatus for resolving network congestion according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention more apparent, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention will be described clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings of the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be obtained by a person skilled in the art without any inventive step based on the embodiments of the present invention, are within the scope of the present invention.
The embodiment of the invention provides a method for solving network congestion. Referring to fig. 1, the method may include the following steps:
step S1: when the internet access mode is configured, the router stores the signed bandwidth.
In this embodiment, when the user configures the internet access mode, the router stores the contracted bandwidth of the network operator currently used by the user, and sets the contracted bandwidth as BW.
Step S2: the router performs the first network congestion detection, if yes, step S3 is performed; if not, the flow is ended.
In this embodiment, when the router detects that the received downlink data is smaller than a preset downlink threshold, or the number of received uplink data requests sent by the user is greater than a preset uplink threshold, for example, the router detects that the received downlink data is zero, or the user continuously sends uplink data requests, the router determines that the network is congested.
If the router detects the network congestion in the first detection, the router performs the first network congestion processing according to the network bandwidth speed measurement, specifically as the following steps S3 and S4.
Step S3: the router carries out network bandwidth speed measurement, and if the current bandwidth is lower than the preset proportion of the signed bandwidth, the step S4 is carried out; if the current bandwidth is not lower than the preset proportion of the contracted bandwidth, the step S5 is performed.
In this embodiment, the router sets the specific gravity M of the contracted bandwidth in advance, and makes M a variable, which is a parameter for estimating the download speed and the actual downlink bandwidth.
And if the router detects network congestion, the router background logs in a network operator speed measurement website to perform bandwidth speed measurement.
Step S4: the router limits the network speed of the terminal which starts the P2P software to the preset limiting network speed, and the step S6 is carried out.
In this embodiment, the tested current bandwidth is CBW, if the tested current bandwidth is lower than the preset specific gravity M of the signed bandwidth, that is, CBW < BW × M, the user opens P2P (Peer-To-Peer) software or its hidden process, and the more typical software includes videos or download software such as PPS, PPTV, BT, thunderbolt, etc., and these software will continuously download and upload data even without any download operation, thereby affecting the network speed. It is therefore necessary to rate limit the devices that have opened these P2P software processes or their hidden processes.
The router presets a limited network speed, and when judging that the current bandwidth is lower than the preset proportion of the signed bandwidth, the network speed of the terminal which starts the P2P software is limited to the limited network speed, and the speed of the limited network speed is lower than the current network speed.
Step S5: the router adjusts the wireless channel to the preset restriction channel, and proceeds to step S6.
In this embodiment, if it is tested that the current bandwidth is lower than the preset specific gravity M of the contracted bandwidth, i.e. CBW > -BW × M, there may be interference from other wireless devices, such as a cordless phone, a microwave oven, a bluetooth handset, or a keyboard and mouse, and therefore, it is necessary to adjust the wireless channel to occupy a smaller channel.
The router presets the restricted channels, preferably channels 1, 6, 11. When the current bandwidth is judged to be not lower than the preset proportion of the signed bandwidth, the wireless channel is adjusted to be a limiting channel, for example, the channel with the strongest interference prevention or the channel with the most occupied is avoided, namely, the channel with less occupied is selected, and at least the occupation of the limiting channel is lower than that of the current used channel.
Step S6: the router performs the second network congestion detection, if yes, step S7 is performed; if not, the flow is ended.
In this embodiment, after the router detects network congestion and performs the first network congestion processing according to the network bandwidth speed measurement, the router detects whether the network congestion occurs for the second time.
If the router detects network congestion in the second detection, the router performs a second network congestion processing according to the user information of the router, as described in step S7 below.
Step S7: the router prompts the user to modify the router management password and the wireless password.
In this embodiment, if the router still detects network congestion in the second detection, the user is prompted to modify the router management password and the wireless password.
Step S8: the router detects whether the network is congested for the third time, if yes, step S9 is performed; if not, the flow ends.
In the present embodiment, after the router detects network congestion and performs the second network congestion processing according to the user information of the router, the router detects whether or not the network congestion is performed for the third time.
Step S9: the router prompts the user to report to the operator for maintenance.
And if the router detects the network congestion in the third detection, the router prompts the user to report the maintenance of the operator.
