Background
With the rapid development of biometric technology, more and more devices are beginning to use fingerprint sensors to verify the identity of a user. The fingerprint sensor can collect the fingerprint characteristics of the same finger of a user for multiple times in advance, and a fingerprint template is generated according to the fingerprint characteristics obtained by the multiple times of collection.
In the related art, when a fingerprint sensor detects that newly acquired user fingerprint characteristics are matched with a certain pre-stored fingerprint template, verification can be confirmed to be passed; when the fingerprint sensor detects that the newly acquired user fingerprint features do not match the pre-stored fingerprint template, verification failure can be confirmed, and the newly acquired user fingerprint features are discarded.
However, when a user enters fingerprint features, the accuracy of the fingerprint template generated by the fingerprint sensor is low due to the influence of irregular actions or environmental temperature, and the like, so that the accuracy of the fingerprint sensor in verification according to the fingerprint template is low.

When the similarity between the fingerprint features of the user and the fingerprint patterns in the fingerprint template is greater than a preset similarity threshold, the fingerprint identification module can determine that the fingerprint features of the user are matched with the fingerprint template; when the similarity between the fingerprint features of the user and the fingerprint patterns in each fingerprint template is not greater than the preset similarity threshold, the fingerprint identification module may determine that no fingerprint template matching the fingerprint features of the user exists in the fingerprint template library.
