Abstract
The invention relates to the field of thumbnail display, in particular to a method and a system for displaying characters in a thumbnail. The invention can be recognized by analyzing the minimum resolution of the characters in the picture; acquiring a thumbnail corresponding to the picture; acquiring the resolution of the thumbnail and the position and the word size of the characters in the thumbnail; judging whether the minimum resolution is not greater than the resolution of the thumbnail or not, if so, displaying characters according to the position, the character size and the minimum resolution; if not, setting a text box, and displaying the text in the text box at the minimum resolution. Background

the minimum resolution at which the characters in the picture can be identified is analyzed, specifically:
presetting a list for recording resolution ratios according to a sequence from large to small;
displaying the characters in the picture according to the resolution ratio recorded by the list to obtain a corresponding character picture group;
acquiring two adjacent character pictures in the character picture group to obtain a first character picture and a second character picture;
